People said Commando was the easiest class, then they got nerfed and its someone really hard now even though no mechanics got changed, then it was maruaders whos mirculously made it past 1.2 and 1.3 unscathed. The nerfherders, discouraged at their lack of progress with the marauder how turned to the PT in as their new target... maybe just MAYBE, BW will ignore their metrics and nerf this class so that all the little boys and girls that dont like losing will be ok.
  2. I play both Vanguard and Sage. Assualt/Pyro spec is hard hit and hard to deal with but my usualy engagement as goes like this. Pyro - begins attack Sage - knockback, stun Pyro - Breaks stun Sage - CC, move away At this point youve bought some time. If the fight continues, so do you. - CC breaks Pyro - harpoon Sage - Knockback if its up / if not slow, forcespeed They can be kited pretty easily especialy by a sage. Balance sages perform the best but you should be able to as heals.

  4. Snipers are on par, Assassins may be lacking a tad in DPS but make up for it with survivability and stealth. Seems like you dont know what your talking about imo.

  8. I dont give a flip with YOU can do. I cant out DPS a scoundrel healer. You say that my DPS is OP, so therefore your HEAL is also OP since it outpaces my DPS. That is imbalance. Scoundrels need to be nerfed as well if indeed Pyro DPS is OP. Not to mention that scoundrel healers are literaly the only real choice for PVP heals atm. If your heals are head and shouldnt ahead of both commando and sage then thats the epitome of OPness. You need to be brought in line with the other 2. Pyros are not the only DPS choice and sents, sages, and gunslingers all are running a very close race along with pyros.
  9. Ive played both shield and assault and enjoyed both. I may try the middle tree at some point since there are some really nice talents there that are crucial to team play.

Stealth offers several advantages. - choose when/where to fight - get the first shot - vanish and run away if things go south - hide numerical advantage with multiple stealthers or stealther+other Stop trying to downplay the advantage of stealth. Its a huge advantage and adds tremendously to your survivability. Vanish = survive most times when done right. You dont have the in combat survive advantage of a trooper, but you shouldnt.
  11. Nerf scoundrel healing along with PT burst. Because even with the godly burst that you seem to think we have i still cant out DPS scoundrel healing, on the run. If PT burst is op then so is scoundrel healing, and marauder survivability ect ect. This can go on and on and nerf after nerf.

  13. Relics and adrenals are both getting nerfed, thus nerfing PT burst. Its a doubke edged sword though, happy?

  15. L2P stealth... better? You hit the nail on the head with ANY stealth class. Get in, hit hard and if things go south get out. You can hold off a cap for quite a while like that, and guess what, your playing good. Thinking you should be able to unstealth and facemelt anyone, is playing bad. PTs dont have that option. They go in guns ablazing and have to take whatever punishment is dealt them. Theres no choosing fights, vanishing and trying again ect ect. We're all in when we enter a fight, while youve got the choice of when to fight and a get out of jail free card. Coupled with great burst, although lacking in sustained. I dont see a problem here.
  16. Ops are never going back to the 1.0 state. You guys need to get over that. You shouldnt be able to burst down every class in the game just cause you open from stealth. Pyros are in the same boat when facing marauders. Improvise, adapt and overcome. You arent the only ones having it tough against certain classes. Put your pullups on and learn your class and its weaknesses and quit wishing for an end all be all.
  17. Im not telling you to do anything. The game isnt balanced around 1v1. Everyone has a role that they work fibe in. A stealther trying to solo down a hard hitting frontline dps is just stupid play.
  18. So your mad that a stealther cant solo a solid frontline dps? Pyros are glass cannons with little more than 16k ish hp when in dps gear. Burst is great, sustained is good but they drop like a rock under fire. We cant vanish or stealth or anything like that just have to eat it. We are frontline dps, ops are not. Know your rolw and play your class.

    2E 2M and 4W works pretty often. Mainly because many people think just like you. Its a gamble but if you get both side turrets off the bat, your probably going to win.
  21. Same way you counter any melee DPS squad. With proper healing, CC, and kiting. If there were 7 DPS specced PTs, they had 1 healer or possibly none at all. They should be easiliy overcome by a prpper squad with 2 or 3 healers by simple attrition. If you have decent DPS they should be able to burn PTs pretty quickly and with no heals they'll go down like a cheap date. You heals might not be able to keep up with all of the DPS but it will slow them down enough for you to win most engagements. Especialy if you have maurader DPS, with their def cooldowns and good kiting healers (Ops) you should have no problem blasting through an all PT DPS squad.
  22. More pew pew less QQ. Sent is a strong up front class, learn to counter it. Taunts, guards, healers, stuns, cc, all help mitigate up front dps. Use them, this is a team game.
  23. Right now it my balance sage because its the newest. But i also enjoy my vanguard immensely.
