  1. Comp convo with Akaavi in which she was trying to track someone down; Akaavi: "I have a name!" Smuggler"...Ak... aavi?" Akaavi "Not mine!"
  2. During it all she was busy building a new Empire on the side. The Undecided Empire.
  3. I'm gonna have to nominate ikinai and Icestar since I always enjoy their posts.
  4. I enjoyed the chapter where you reunite with Satele and Marr. That was the chapter that felt the most sincere to me.
  5. You wanna be legendary then you gotta be legendary! Join a guild and knock out those achievements!
  6. Sadly the bulk of the blame is gonna fall on you for this oversight because that question was answered prior to the event occurring. Fortunately there is a workaround. If you open your collections (ctrl+c) you'll get a list of stuff that you've collected and assuming that you haven't deleted the character that got them you should be able to unlock the stuff you want for cc. The price of the unlock will depend on the quality as well as the category of the item but it should be doable. Edit: The top right corner will have a drop down menu that you can click to filter to display only what you've collected.
  7. I'm doing everything I can to get us that LS comp but I can't do it alone! I need you for this. The Chiss need you for this. Get off the fence and help us help you!
  8. The next chapter is the last of season 1 but there's at least one more season after that. Most likely we'll see them there. Will Kira reenter the stage in the blaze of glory? And will Jaesa ever get off the fence and pick a side? Tune in to season 2 to (maybe) find out!
  9. My thoughts also exactly match this. They say great minds think alike but that's dumb because then all we'd have is the same great person. So we must not be great but I greatly agree with this thought:tran_angel:
  10. Probably. I'm just making the choices that I want to make but I can see people throwing in the towel if their side is too far in the losing side. That said the forums are only a small sample size so I could be, and mostly likely am, totally off.
  11. I lurk for long periods of time and post after enough sacrifices have been made. After that I return to my slumber.
  12. It's all speculation atm. Hopefully there'll be more info eventually.
  13. I don't know but at this point I'm happy that one of them is a comp that is somewhat unique to the other skins; a chiss knight with two sabers. I highly doubt that either gender would have any romance or story options so that would all come down to rping and lets be real... SWTOR has not been rp friendly since forever ago. Still hoping for a Jawa sent comp
  14. Clearly there's a lot of hate for this event by a small percentage of 'veteran' players but I've enjoyed it so far. I've noticed a huge increase in players per planet and lots of questions from newer players. Time will tell if this event was a success but so far I believe it's been a good move. I'm also a veteran but at no point have I felt that they should've made achievements retro and any point at which BW decides to grant it would be a courtesy boon. Yes, I would've liked some new content for an event of this scale but this is not a bad alternative. That said Blood Hunt is the bane of my existence. Praise the Sun.
  15. The amount of fights in that new chapter was aggravating. Fight the mobs on the way there. Kill the mobs that were stealthed at the objective. Kill the mobs that spawned after you interacted with the widget. Cc's. Cc's for days and days as well as roots that can't be cleansed. And to top it off they can all see through your stealth. It was a pain.
  16. Honestly I like these cubes. No wait, put down the pitchforks! As someone who usually buys hypercrates simply to sell them these new packs have been the best thing since sliced durasteel. With the old packs I had to choose whether I wanted to risk opening them or just sell them for a small but sure profit. But now all of that has changed. The light has been shone. Now each pack can potentially have two cubes that sell for as much as the old packs did thereby doubling the usual profit. But it gets better. In order to get these cubes I have to open the pack which actually gives me a chance to win the big ticket items and if I don't win than I simply sell the cube that'll probably drop. I get to open the pack with very little risk of losing the value! I can have my cake and eat it too! The cubes sell like hotcakes and are usually a stable 300k - 350k a piece! What a time to be alive!
  17. All I really want is the crystals as it's my favorite color and I collect them. Exiled set might be worth picking up for collections. Other than that there's really nothing much that grabs my attention. As always, thanks to our lord and master Dulfy, who I had the honor of being steamrolled by in a huttball match a while ago.
  18. I like to do both but I lean much more toward pve content. I have no problem with pvp being use as a wall for companion rewards since they're pretty much fluff rewards now. They all do the same thing and you aren't missing out on something that can't get somewhere else via another companion(like the ones you automatically get through the KOTFE arcs) therefore companions are non-essential to anything you do in pve and so they are fair game to be used as rewards for a wide variety of challenges. Whether that was a good move or not is another issue entirely. Also while SWTOR may be a primarily pve game that is does not make it a pve exclusive game and so it's not out of line for them to use the other aspects of the game as challenges. You're not entitled to all the fluff rewards of the game and asking that every challenge be tailored to be within the comfort zones of us pve'rs is unreasonable.
  19. SF runs are plagued on Harbinger, at least from my experience with them. I can usually count on a 1 or 2 second delay between using an ability and the actual execution as well as stutters on movements.
  20. How can someone looking for pve exclusive content play an mmo? I do both but I heavily lean toward the pve content and there's nothing wrong here. 4.0 turned companions into fluff content, now whether that was a good thing is another matter, and is therefore not essential to any pve content. At all. You can use any of the other comps to get the same results. Though swtor is pve centric that does not mean it's pve exclusive. If that's what you're looking for then there are rpg's out there that you can play. Being that comps are fluff rewards they are fair game to be used as rewards for a wide variety of challenges including pvp. Asking that every challenge be tailored to be within our personal comfort zones is unreasonable. Now if items essential to pve, such as 220 set gear, was placed behind a pvp wall then that would be a different story but as it stands BW has not done anything out of line with this particular comp challenge.
  21. They should certainly give pvp more attention than they have in the past. I know that everyone uses the argument that this is a pve centric game but that does not make it a pve exclusive game. I do both but lean heavily toward the pve content but I do believe that pvp is an important part of the game. If the answer to those asking for more pvp is 'go play Battlefront" then it can also be said that those who only want an rpg game are better off playing Final Fantasy or Kotor. It's an mmo and it consists of both sides.
  22. +1 I've been pvping casually for a while now and I didn't know the exact mechanics for the Hypergate. That def helps put some stuff into context. Thanks for that!
