  1. i dunno real statistic which is available only for BW, but to my opinion ppl spend much more time in warzones than ops and fps. PvP is bottomless fun, ops are not, once you geared in rakata. Thats my opinion.
  2. i think this Suggestion Box is not intended for discussions and dev's questions/answers. If you have suggestions then post them here, but no guarantee that your suggestions were read by devs or implemented. We can just hope.
  3. lol such silly remark on that topic. Regarding the topic subject - problem is that SWTOR client is highly overloading CPU. So many things unnecessary for gameplay are processed by CPU. For instance, on Imp fleet you see a revolving strip in the very middle? Or when you happen to look out of the Fleet window you see slowly moving planets? These objects are rendered by your CPU (not by GPU, like one might imagine). Are they needed for your gameplay? No way, these are just monuments for epic BW programmers and designers. Therefore to improve fps you need just much better CPU. Generally speaking, with so many bugs and bad coding and optimizations current SWTOR software still looks like raw beta. It needs rewriting and recoding, but I hardly believe BW is gonna do that, cause it's so expensive...
  4. "6. Why do we have a pointless conversation on the Fleet after every flashpoint?" + why whenever I enter Voidstar (Novare Coast as well) attempt is made to force me like 1000th+ time to watch the movies and to listen to pathetic voice "This is Dart... ..." ? Isn't it lame? Nobody watches, rest assured, everyone is spamming "Space" bar to skip. Highly annoying and pathetic design. And highly stupid and counterproductive if one joins already started warzone battle. Loading and decrunching movies takes additional time and memory? Compare to BG loading times of your competitor. It is very easy to add to Preferences "Skip movies in warzones", isn't it?
  5. dunno if this was suggested already, but still nothing changed in interface. Mission tracker definitely should be improved. Class quests must have distinctive color in the tracker at least (would be nice on map too). Completed missions must have distinctive color. NPCs giving heroic mission must have a sign of distinctive color (I abandoned like a hundred of heroic missions while leveling my chars as soon as i realized them heroic, since I dont waste time on group quests while leveling. Isnt that stupid to go through dialogues and find out that I dont need that mission and wasted time reading useless texts?).
  6. I see in general chat in fleet like very day invitations to join rwz teams for farming commendations. These teams are not caring about wins, losing rwz gives more commendations than winning ordinary wz. So these teams are formed only for losing. Was this the intended design? It is absurd, some ppl getting WH gear without slightest ability to win wz and PvP. Meanwile their opponents (rwz teams) easily reach high ratings for rwz, because of lack of any serious resistance. This absurdity must be corrected ASAP. I mean ASAP. Please, make renumerations for losing rwz not bigger than the renumerations of the ordinary wz, or even lower, which is fair.
  7. maintenance is only relatively small fraction of their expenses, that's what I meant. And yes, every business is about meeting customer needs. No customers - no business. Thats why they want to improve their business and decided to add new group of customers.
  8. First part is true. The second part is not. We pay for the ticket to enter the theme park they created and they own. How to improve entertainment is their sole discretion. You like it? Then you buy a monthly ticket, you are allowed to enter the grounds and help yourself with fun. You dont like it? Then go away and have your fun elsewhere. SWTOR is their real business. Gamers are NOT investors. Sub is only small compensation of their huge expenses to create [,maintain and develop] the business. Customers feedback is important, as long as it is positive and friendly.
  9. don't fool ppl around. If you cancel your sub you will never be able to log into that acc again. You will need to create a new acc. Enjoy gameplay from level zero:p ps: not in connection with above: I 've noticed that the more pathetic is avatar, nick and signature - the more pathetic whining and threats to cancel forever and everything connected to swtor and BW
  10. Your "prediction"? Who you gonna impress, lol? How about that? http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/06/15/bioware-looking-at-free-to-play-for-the-old-republic GW2? How about Riders of Rohan Lotro? Aion 3 from GF? etc... You need to see whole picture to make grounded judgements.
  11. OK, imagine BW will do what you suggested. An when your own server became depopulated and you will have no guildies or PUGs for ops, endless waiting queues for wz, what would you do then?
  12. i am for increasing level cap. Those who threatens to quit - good bye and have fun elsewhere. Few will leave, hundreds new will come. New level cap, new quests, new armors and armaments, new abilities, new crafts, new speeders, new locations, new instances, new ops, new PvP, new challenges - this I like in games.
  13. Vindigore, removing temporary dread is a resurrection buff and only that. You can easily wait minutes for dread disappear without that buff or use craftable and sellable Hope+ tokens. LOTRO doesnt have perma death penalty, so no need for it removal. Ppl here that didnt play LOTRO may misunderstand you. PS: What is nice of LOTRO is that you can play full content being f2p. Its just (like already mention here) much more grindy for f2p, but no restrictions. And I would also suggest to BW to find way to make f2p heavily grindy but with FULL access. We need abundant choice of players for ops, wzs. Ops and rwz will DIE if no abundant population and if you have no competition. That means that end-game content will die too.
  14. Vindigore, "death penalty removals" - no such thing in LOTRO. And Isengard expansion was way more fun than dull mazes of Moria. The LOTRO problem was that they introduced expansions with very slow pace, like 1 each year, which is now a definitely losing strategy on the very dynamic mmo's market. Now they are trying to do it much faster.
  15. Guys, temper your anger. I am absolutely convinced that the only reason for BW to add F2P is to make SWTOR worlds more populated. Is it bad for those who keep paying monthly subscription? No way. We want to have big and stable population and shine there with our toons But, BW should also keep in mind that gamers want to have fun, fun and fun in game. Otherwise they will abandon even free-of-charge content. So your task is to bring more, and more, and more fun and features like every 3-6 months. This is called competition and real competition is always insane
