  1. I don't when was the "last time" you log in and which server for your 2xx ppl. I play in Dalborra server (the most populated one amoung Asia servers), I log and play almost everyday, I mostly log in prime time and weekend, but sometimes week day morning before go to office, if I wake up early. For weeks, the server status is always light to medium, never heavy. On the passed Saturday and Sunday, during prime time, we hardly have over 90 ppl at the fleet, mostly 60ish to 80ish, 10mins to 15mins wait between WZs queue. Fanboi will say its becoz of school kids back to school, or when ppl get disappointed with GW2, they come back. Useless excuses.... so I have to wait until next summer for the server being populated again? And even some ppl will disappointed with GW2, do you think SWTOR is the only place they can return? Mostly when ppl leave, they just leave. I am not a SWToR hater, I like this game so I open my wallet and pay for it. But lets face the fact, we need some serious fix here in SWTOR, or more ppl with leave, 'coz we like this game, but we don't fall in love with this game. Free unlimited transfer like RIFT. Cross-servers War-zone/Flashpoint like all another 647,342 MMOs which ALREADY have. Merge more dying servers, most planets are empty to play. Multi talent spec., so ppl don't have to reroll & reroll & reroll with the boring PvE content or stuck with only one playing style. Give us real space combat, not Star-Fox 2012. (ppl is still playing space missions??) SWTOR has been way too slow in bug fix and improvement. Don't tell me again how long it takes WoW Vanilla to have this and that, for goodness sake that game was year 2004 and monopoly the MMO market with no serious competitors, what year is now and how many other MMOs out there? It is not GW2 or WoW-Kungfu Panda killing SWTOR. Its Bioware itself.
  2. Nerf is bad, buff is good. Give Mercenary passive ability that "Power Shot" & "Tracer Missile" is castable while moving. Give Mercenary's "Rocket Punch" a 10m knock-away built-in, 20m/30m if talented. (opposite to Grapple/Harpoon) Change "Jet Boost" from AoE-knock-back to AoE-Stun, or even better, make it AoE-knock-back-stun. I play both classes, Mercenary can also delivery good dmg if alive long enough, only problem is they have so little tools to keep them survive for doing their dmg (only 1 single stun, knock back is useless besides in Huttball or filling up ur enemy resolve bar). Mercenary is now like a Sniper/Gunslinger without any cover/knockback/stun abilities... If a Mercenary is spotted, it is dead for good, unless playing a healer only.
  3. This guy says the truth! In additional, you should roll a new Jedi Sentinel. Ok, serious, I do not know about PvE, 'coz I don't enjoy that. You should just grind your BM sets ASAP, and start to pwn ppl in the WZs. As being a Marauder = being at the top of the PvP food chain (along with Powertech & Sniper...).
  4. WoW; Warhammer Online; Rift.... plue many others have cross-server battleground, some already have in even from fresh launch. It's is a standard feature of any MMO nowadays. I don't see any good excuse why a year 2012 new MMO have a problem to provide that after months and many dying server population.
  5. 1) panic player: help 2) panic player: HELP!!!!!!! 3) panic player: Help me!! 4) while in a Huttball, our carrier tried so hard running back to our own baseline while we were healing the hack out of him to keep him alive. We asked *** were you doing??!! He ans.: "oops soz!! I was playing Imp in WZ the whole day, forgot I am now on the another side." Okay, I don't blame him I admit I did that once or twice as well...
  6. Further spreading out the PvP population? Unless Bioware gives us X-servers WZs, or good luck to you for 1 hr WZ queue. Bad WZs are still better than no WZ at all.
  7. Hunting datacrons for "once" is fine for me, but do it & do it & do it ... again for every single char is pointless and time wasting. Should make it legacy acheivement across all chars (okay, many twice for Pub vs Imp version). I got much better things to do ingame, like space combat missions. Oh wait.........
  8. THUNDERCATS ---HOOOoooo!!!! Actually I really want to play a Jawa, so ppl will have a hard time to click select while I jump around in WZs....
  9. Whether you like it or not, gearing/grinding was & is always a core factor in RPG type of game, as well as a strong factor that keep most people in MMORPG playing/paying. If there was no gear grinding progress, SWTOR would be "Star War Call of Duty" or "Star War Battlefield" or "Gear of Star War". Just pvp straightly with your "skill" w/o headache of gearing up. Now... do you really think the fun can last longer? P.S. PvP gears grinding in SWTOR is really nothing comparing with others.
  10. How many years ago it was for WoW Vanilla released? If you meant SWTOR is only = old WoW Vanilla, and Bioware couldn't manage to do better than a decade old competitor... Then you are probably right. And no, SWTOR is NOT a new game anymore, it's launched for months already. Unlike UO/EQ/WoW these old ones MMORPG, players do not have the patience to give the modern MMORPG years to get things right, 'cause we have so many other choices now.
  11. Yes! I would rather able to play this full of bugs game, coz' it bugs me a hell lot more when I paid but no play. I don't see what I would lose if they attempt to fix their 567,422 bugs weekly base instead of dialy base, it's not like those never-mentioned bugs would kill me/unable to play. After all, what exactly the bugs they have fixed? This game have been already full of bugs for months, and we lived with that already. The only serious bug I see is the constant maintenance bug. To Bioware >>>> If you can't fix it, don't try to fix it. Glad I still have my RIFT & WoW subs running.
  12. Let put it the other way, you don't get 20% chance of each try to success. You are getting 80% chance of each try to fail. So instead of 20% x 5 = 100% success in RE. You are facing 80% x 5 = 400% FAIL!!! in RE. Does it make you feel you were actually very very luck to sucess in only 1 out of 10 attempts now???
  13. The global cooldown is indeed way too long comparing with other MMORPGs. I don't know why, preventing ppl burst down someone?? Rogue class nerf??......
  14. i got this bug last night also. Anyway, a victory was still a victory. Just some minor confusing display Working as intended. Welcome to SWTOR-Beta-1.3
  15. Actually this fellow has a point. The grind is not so bad in SWTOR, if you had played UO/EQ1 before. SWTOR is already "casual" enough. If taking away this casual grinding matter (which is a factor to keep most successful MMORPG alive), I could have played Street Fighter or Call of Duty...etc. instead. Where's no gear matter. GW2 is not a MMORPG, GW is Cal of Duty in fantasy background. Or GWs is a MMOPvP which missing the PVE leveling content/development from standard MMORPGs, just focing on instant end-game PvP. People are comparing Apply to Orange...
  16. I got this jumping habbit whenever i play a range class. 1) old habbit from WoW when I was playing a huntard, mid air 180 degree turn kite shooting. 2) when you are in a crowd, jumping around makes ppl harder to target you with mouse click (specially when I was playing a gnome in WoW). You can tab in WZ I know, but then you have to cycle through many ppl before getting you right target.

    Interrupts

So your partner are being foced to burst down by someone(s), while you also got another foe has the leisure to focus on interrupting your mighty heals, then you guys lose to other 2 or more... Apart from QQ more, I don't see what is the problem there. You want 2 of you against 3 or whole team and still win?? Haa! Extremely CLEVER. /more inerrupts to you.
  18. Macro is always there, just get a programmable gaming mouse & keyboard. Cheap one Logitech G300, if more budget get a Razer. Problem solved. Some people against macro and like the hard way? Well, their choice, none of my problem. I play the game for fun, not for work. Now if Bioware just give an option to disable the annoying red error flytext which floods my screen...

    Interrupts

At least you wont disable you ability when you "interrupt" you self. Plus, everything has its trade off, you cant win it all.

    Interrupts

Force Kick Instant Cooldown: 8s Range: 4 m Kicks the target and interrupts its current action, preventing that ability from being used for the next 4 seconds. I suggest you stop smashing the same healing ability button again & again, any healer will get at least 2 cast time heals + 1/2 instant heal/HoT/bubble. It's your problem to use one heal type only, not the guy who interrupt you. My healer friend you really deserved to be locked imo. P.S. Like some guy above already mentioned, how about "fake cast"?? It doesn't seem like very hard to use right? 1 fake cast you can lock down their interrupt for at least 6 secs ~ 12 secs depends on class & spec.
  21. Huh?? For me, Sage is my "easiest" class when it comes to pvp. I cannot say 50s, as my Sage is still lvl48, I also have a lvl42 Sentinel, a lvl38 Mercenary, and a bunch of other classes like Shadow/Warrior/Smuggler...etc. at their 20ish. All my chars I leveled them up almost exclusively via Warzones PvP after their lvl15, I skip most planets quests. So I guess I do have certain pvp experience against other classes. So far what I enjoy the most and defeat others the most is my Sage, I don't have much problem with other classes including Sentinel/Marau; Shadow tank; Pyro-Poweertech, unless I blew most of my cooldown on the last fight or at half hp. (or unless the player is very good. But then it is not my Sage class problem, it's my problem), Only moment I find my Sentinel can do much better than my Sage is when I against healers (interrupt every 6sec). My Sage just can't do burst dmg and have useless interrupt. While Sentinel who spec. 6sec interrupt is a healer's nightware, most good healer can just over heal my Sage's dmg & dancing with me at the same time.... I also have much better chance with my Sentinel when againsting someone who has a healbot partner. But with my Sage, I will just hit stun on DPS guy, wait for him to burn cd to free himself (85% they will ), then instant Force Life him, and hit my panic-spirint fleeing away like a chicken. My Sage is Balan/Telekin spec. atm, one very nice thing is my Sage almost never run out of focus, unless I play a part-time healer. Stay & hide in the back row, and you can DPS forever long. While most other classes (except Jedi Knight) start with a full pool, but then run out resource fast if they didn't manage it well. Play you Sage in a way to out-last your enemy, if you can survive before they burst empty their resource, they are yours (not for Warrior/Knight though, you have to kite them and kill them fast). And if you can't win, just flee, you got the ability. Can't kill you enemy NOT = loss, if they also can't kill you. Imo, Sage is fine, you just need to practice more, also play every other class to certain degree to understand their mechanic.
