  1. So another words KOTOR & SWG combined...Never gonna' happen mate.
  2. Welcome back (hopefully to the Empire ). There are no planned server mergers in the near future, since there are not many servers left. H-bringer is a good choice US wise therefore. For the Empire.
  3. Completely agree with what LadyVIx said. The disgruntled/cheating minority will have no impact on longevity, however they will be replaced by others. Its human nature to try and get ahead of others at all costs, even if it means exploiting mechanics (at the cost of polluting the community etc).
  4. So far from reality mate... Its all about 'link gear & achievement'. That is the truth, lets not kid ourselves. Unless you manage to fin yourself in that 1/100 guild...
  5. Depends on the mmo/game in question. For some its like gambling i.e an addiction. For others a way to elevate their ego's/selves online imo. Yet for others who have too much to bother counting - its nothing.
  6. Although it seems like a large amount, there are many far wealthier 'whales' dropping larger amounts than OP. SO not sure why he/she felt the need to let us know the numbers. Completely agree with you that what you described is the majority of the population, however Teens & young adults also make up a sizeable chunk where they either have a part time job/mommy & daddy with a cc, live off of benefits or F2P. As for why someone would spend 500 euro a month online...Each to their own. Its a hobby. FOlks spend much more on alcohol, tickets for events, gambling etc. Also 500 euro is not that great. If it was £500 that would be diff. imo.
  7. Don't get me wrong mate, but based on your inherent tone and opinions above, you should be looking for a diff. mmo imo. You seem unhappy with this game. So why stay in that case?
  8. AA uses an interesting reporting system. Perhaps swtor should look into it.
  9. The casual folk are the core of this game mate and they are the ones supporting it. The other 5-10% does not imo.
  10. A community manager gets: An office with a view, a title and of course a fatter paycheck... Just guessing...
  11. Each to their own . Thanks for explaining your view though. P.S I found that mid 70's to late 90's was a completely diff ball-game mmo-wise.
  12. True, if that was the question raised, but the question referred to cross-continental server transfers . Still well done for pointing that out, to those who may be unaware
  13. Bad example imo with no.3, unless the majority of the players are based in Britain mate. As for Bioware needing to be careful, I disagree. a few bans will not affect the average joe. Only the minority.
  14. The casuals who do not raid (but do the occasional dungeon), make up the core player base imo.
  15. Glad to see someone who didn't understand the irl metaphor. Although I like the somewhat crude example
