OP.... you are not alone.... I returned to the game about 1 month ago.... in that time I have spent 300+ dollars on this game.... I also will continue to pay for my sub but will buy cartel coins no more.... To be honest, my wife isn't that keen on me spending that much a month on a game anyway.... This is the only meaningful way I can voice my displeasure with the way the slot machines were nuked into oblivion... Take the scraps off the loot table by all means.... Cartel Certificates also if you must.... lower the coins back to 500 credits and raise the rep things so we only lose 10 percent of our investment.... add random cartel items with a reasonable chance of drop depending on their rarity as an incentive to play.... What is so hard or wrong with this?.... To those individuals who seem to me to be filled with hate and self loathing, I thank you for keeping these many threads bumped.... other than that you are of no use to me so consider yourselves dismissed....

could we be seeing middle ground on this slot machine fiasco?....

The pre-nerf split on pro-slot machines vs anit-slot machines was about 50/50 with 98% of people calling for an adjustment of purple jawa scrap drops.... the post-nerf split is more like 90% outrage at the decimation of the slot machines vs 10% cheering and taunting the 90% that are expressing justified outrage.... Yes I pulled these statistics out of my , BUT, they are close enough to the truth that Bioware has already taken notice and no doubt have had several meeting about the issue.... When there is as much outrage as has been expressed on this forum the last two days they CAN NOT ignore the situation... There WILL be another adjustment.... Before the nerf I bought 15 stacks of 99 chips.... I finished burning through them a few minutes ago.... Here are my results.... I paid 500 credits a chip, it cost me 742,500 credits.... I sold my purple, blue and green reputation trophies for 574,500 credits.... At this point I am down 168,000 credits (539,250 credits if I had bought them post nerf).... I pulled 2 blue scraps and 4 green scraps.... Im an optimist by nature but I am pretty sure I wont recoup my credit deficit by selling these 6 scraps on the GTN.... what I would like to see is.... 30% lose 20% win token 20% green rep 15% blue rep 10% purple rep 1.5% green scrap 1% blue scrap .25% purple scrap .25% cartel certificate 1.75% random cartel item .25% random rare cartel item There are 3 or 4 trolling all the slot machine threads.... I will not respond to you.... consider yourself dismissed....

Yes, I see the distractions. Yesterdays Revan distraction pretty much has no effect on me as I have no characters near lvl 60. Todays gambling distraction I will admit makes me a little jealous. I am pretty sure my wife would not be down with me gambling with cartel packs in hopes of being able to get the slot machine to gamble ingame. Anyway, thanks for the replies.

Nothing? I realize I can create characters for each faction on each server, level them to 10 and check populations on the respective fleets. I was assuming that the forum community would be more helpful.

I am returning to the game after 2 years. I have a couple of low level characters on a server I did not create them on. I am being prompted to change their names. I guess there was a server merge while I was gone. I have played one of the characters about a week to get a feel for the game again. I plan on deleting both characters and starting fresh so as to experience the story arc from the beginning. To avoid having my new names taken from me again if there is a future merge I would like to create them on the most populated server available. That brings us to the point of this post. I would be much appreciative if you veterans could tell me which server is the most populated. I plan on spending most of my time in pve and live in the middle of the country so east coast west coast makes is not a factor. I am moving forward under the assumption that if there is a merge in the future the most populated of servers would be the destination servers and the names on those servers would be kept. Thanks for any advice you can give me on this matter.

Quantity of listings on the GTN is a concern of my as well as prices.... If the goods are not being listed I cant by the item regardless of the price....

I am recently returned to the game after a couple years away.... As the title of the tread says, I don't craft.... As a non-crafter I am dependent on the GTN for my equipment and upgrades.... I Naturally I want the best prices I can get.... I am on the Shadowlands server.... Does a server with more traffic on it like The Ebon Hawk have more crafters selling their wares on the GTN creating more competition with lower prices and greater stock of goods?.... or is the GTN pretty much the same across all servers?.... Did my first daily run yesterday. I leveled to 50 using shield spec but was not able to solo the H2 dailies. I suspect that was due to low gear. When I get geared up which spec, tank or dps, will be easiest to solo the H2 dailies? thanks
