grav round does a huge amount more damage than disturbance which has the same cast time so please dont listen to these guys, heavy armour + the 25% damage reduction cooldown does indeed make the commando a little less squishy... the sage has the shield, but in group pvp the commando should be getting sheilded too making them less squishy. both classes have knockbacks, the commandos can spec to knockback much further and many spec for two knockbacks, the sage has one kb but may spec to cause it to do a short root. both have a ranged 4 sec stun and both have a slow.... and an incapacitate in the end its a style choice.... for healing the commando is better in pvp due to more instants. the only area where commando doest really beat the sage is that sages have a ranged inturrupt off the gcd and commandos dont. all in all they are very similar so pick the style you prefer!
