In a giant online role playing game I should only have One thing to do at endgame to progress my toon?

That would be something at least.

It's not about being able to solo content im talking about being able to continually progress my toon cause it's fun and I dont want to or have time to raid. Standing around the fleet watching general chat is not fullfilling endgame content.

It's not about making my guy more powerful to complete quests (although that is always fun) its about the fact that new gear is the only form of character progression this game has and people shouldnt be Forced to raid to get it. Everyone wants to progress not just the small percent of people that are hardcore raiders.

I understand what your saying but thats content that is filled in a day or two. Like you said you can but it as soon as you get to Makeb. Im not talking about having my toon be just barly good enough to do things solo im talking about having fun and rewarding content to do solo through the entire expansion.

Originally MMO's were about playing in a living breathing online world with its own economy and players that you can CHOOSE to interact with. Not FORCING people to group up to advance. MMO's were and should always be about choice. You should not be punished into zero content cause you don't want to follow a liner path hamster wheel.

It's the same kind of gear you get from crafting only worse. I had it all within a day or two of reaching max lvl. Now because I dont raid my toon is stuck in unprogressive limbo till the next expansion. I have fun playing by myself and if group content wasent so forced I would enjoy that too. But why would I not want to keep making my Jedi Knight more and more powerful? I cant make him more powerful in the Force unfortunatly so new cloths is my only option.

PvP is diffrent cause it's pvp. Endgame gear is classified as PvE gear which is more then just raiding. And I know im biased but I don't give a hell what pvpers get lol this is an RPG not a FPS.

I love star wars but im getting ready to unsub (again) cause I have Nothing worthwhile to do at endgame. I want to keep being able to upgrade and progress my toon until the next expansion comes out but I don't want to be Forced to raid. Im a husband and a father I can't stand having my game time and experience be dependent on other players and I don't want to be glued to the computer chair for hours on end. I know im not alone on this but unfortunatly most forum responders are raiders.

Lame excuse. Gear is the only way to progress your toon at endgame. Soloers don't want to just stop and wait for an expansion. God forbid people had a choice between how they wanted to advance. Raiders are so insecure about their gear they think that if people arent FORCED to raid no one will.

Heroic daily/weekly solo quests? Everyone wants to upgrade their toon at end game not just Raiders and if anything it would allow more people to do Raids if they wanted too.

Something fun and rewarding for people too do with their toons at endgame if they dont want to raid or pvp.

Star Wars is cool.

If MMO Dev's look at their game data and see that people do tons of dailys so they keep adding more and more dailys and they don't realize that the only reason people do dailys so much is that they are bored and there is nothing else to do?

This is just an idea of mine there is no rumor that it is being made. I would love to see a Movie starring Ewen Mcgregor as Obi-Wan again. It could be about his time in Tatooine and perhaps even trips to Alderaan protecting the Skywalker children from the shadows insuring that Vader does not learn of their existence. It could even show his Journy to becoming a Jedi Master and learning to transend death. I've read all of the EU from Rotj-on so im not up to date on what any of the Obi-Wan EU lore is, but this is still a movie I would love to see made!

Two things I feel were left out of RoTHC and I hope they add in future patches. 1) Spaceship upgrades so I can start enjoying the space missions again. I know some people like them and say they are not hard but ugh I cant stand em now. 2) Companion affection and crew skill timmers, I would like a new tier of affection to work on for my companions and the crew skills are taking a very long time at 55 would be nice to cut their time down a bit.

Oh yeah and forcing people on a PvE server to go into pvp areas and get flagged and ganked, well thats way more fun then I imagine ripping my finger nails out would be!

The Seeker Droid quests are much more fun then sticking a pencil in my own eye! ..................Thats all I got.

Would really show customer loyalty if say for example I wanted the Male Body type 3 option for the appearance Kiosk I only had to buy that from the CM once and then I could use it any time I wanted with any toon I wanted for just in game credits. You would still get money because subs would have to buy all the diffrent appearance types but only p2p players would have to buy them each time, subs would only have to buy them Once. Would be a pretty classy move Imo.

Pretty much mainly Solo except for the rare Heroic 2 or 4. I don't like my game time being dependent on others and I don't like being stuck at the computer. Bring on more solo content!

Hi guys, im just about done gearing my JK in crafted gear and I want to start suping up Doc. Having never played a healer before im not sure what stats I should be shooting for. Speed? Crit? Power? Can anyone help out?

I really don't get it. Solo content is not gonna make "Ops or Raids" away. Millions and Millions of MMO players world wide enjoy solo content. And what does it matter to you how another player chooses to spend his time In-game. It dosen't effect you he's doing it by himself (solo) Every major MMO has solo content or is adding solo content I just don't get why the Raiders on these forums get so defensive and upset whenever someone talks about wanting more solo play in Swtor endgame. Anyone care to explain?
