A major issue is the word testing on pts ,the only people testing are guilds that want a head start on boss tactics or pvp changes so that they can boast about being the best or first to do stuff when it hits live ,the other stuff that does not benefit them may get a few reports but there are not many players going to spend real money to test someone elses product without incentive . The Free testing has proved to be ineffective so far in this game hence the live version becomes the real PTS and all the bugs are found in live and spread like wildfire around the internet . You can't keep pumping out broken content ke this and expect to survive ,for me the game performance was getting better and better ,then all of a sudden it felt like a world boss to an almight crap on me .

The ETA for the patch 1.3 will be soon after they fix 1.2 once thats fixed they will apply 1.3 and proceed to fix that etc.etc. Macdonald had a big recruitment drive maybe this was an undercover way to recruit game testers for bioware's quality control team ,certainly tier one customer service with some training could be escalated to ,"Would you like fries with that" employment status .although the first hurdle would be the language barrier lol.

We have completed our first hard mode yesterday ,We have PvP night wednesday were we get as many as want to and kick some *** ,we have guildies imp and rep fighting it out . Lots of crafters and altoholics and hopefully get our first operation boss down ,Tuesday . I must say that the voice chat when grouping really makes you feel part of the community,please don't be hesitant to use it ,contact me if you like on Overunity ,but it enriches the community feel no end .

@kyorei, Please keep an eye out for Overunity in game I'am in Uk so we may be on at similar times . I can point you in the direction of other uk players if you put were your from in the app ,just because I might forget lol.

@whiskey grin . Please if your 30 put an application in and we can chat ,the guild we were originally friends with have placed most of their characters with us so I'am not able to pass you to them as they were 30+ age. so if you really feel you want to hang with an older crowd do the app on the website so we can see a bit about you . Our main goal is to have a friendly fun enviroment to play in, so if thats what you want we may get on just fine.

All the posts are read and Don't hesitate to come see us in game I'am sure we can fit y'all in as we have the Republic and empire side factions brought together with voice chat . It does not matter which character of faction you enjoy, we have fun with you not your pixels . We do have at least one professor in the guild already so there should be something in common for you to talk about . We are now starting some of our level 50 characters gearing to try out the group content at that level which is easier to organise given we will all be lvl50. Although we do have an Esselles scheduled for any level to join ,but be aware if you are lvl 50 you will be naked apart from your weapon ,so if your shy get a character to lvl 10 then you can keep your clothes on . Check the forum homepage calender for dates and times and maybe check out the youtube videos we made of our naked Tattooine race .

I'am not joking it is starting to feel like we are becoming a large chunk of this server it's astonishing just how many nice mature people actually play games like this ,all my mmo career I thought that if I wanted to play this game that I had to keep quite about my age and accept that lots of children play this game and the older ones are going to be college Kids with spare time ,When players have been told my age they seem surprised and I suspect apprehensive as to why I would want to play (which I totally understand). So I accepted that to enjoy the game the community was what it was. This venture into forming a community environment suitable and comfortable to my and the original threads age group has been an overwhelming success ,Even if you don't join us ,I would highly recommend making the age range a priority when you search for a guild,I believe the game its self is responsible for 30% of the fun ,the community environment covers 60% and 10% is the secret ingredient that is personal to you. Have Fun in your journey ,in life and in game . P.s. don't think because we are older that we can't kick *** ,I suspect at a leisurely pace we will leave no boss standing ,and if it takes your fancy kick some teenage butt lol (that will teach em to play on our grass)

The atmosphere in voice chat was lots of fun and listening to others and some of the stuff they did was funny .the members who won speeder training and a bike didn't even know they had won lol,it was a low level race and the people in front of them were 50's that had come to watch ,so it was a nice surprise at the end of the race. This is the most fun I have had in a mmo with a nice group of people forever.

I too felt the first people you talk too have a set script and if you dont ask a question that fits exactly then they find one thats nearly the same . Example : The tooltip on my crafted items is back to front compared to when you compare a mission drop. answer : We are sorry to hear BLADIBLA .To compare items click on an item in your bag and it will show you the comparison to the gear you have equipped . please dont hesitate to contact us with any other questions . Me : wait I know how to compare items . rep do you want further help ? me: Is the crafted gear tooltip suppose to be backward ? rep : we will escalate your question can we help with another issue ? me : If thats all you can do to help I don't want to trouble you with the rest thankyou. rep : Thankyou your the best thing since sliced bread and don't hesitate to contact macburger again oops bioware .( not really this bit )but I suspect I am not far off.

Hello , I'am a 46 year old man with a guild with 270 characters and 160 members all of which are around my age range and older . I read the post that you will have droids to help in game on selected servers ,This is a good first step for people trying the game . I have not spoken to a single person who is happy with customer service and I have spoken to more than just our guild . I believe if you could have had a droid actually allocated to servers and answering in game tickets by logging in to the server and actually contacting the players to resolve the issue ,I'am certain you could have kept a lot more of the players that tried the game . You would not need anymore resources than you currently have ,because the current droids are no use what so ever. The responses they give make us feel like ,lets get this ticket shut as fast as possible ,this will make us look like we are very efficient at handling tickets when in reality these people feel rejected. I believe the current droids that you employ should monitor tickets and try to have as small a response time as is practical,but actually contact the customer in chat and make them feel you want there in game experience as enjoyable as is intended by design. In the long term it will improve the game experience 10 fold even if the issue is not resolved the player will feel valued by the developer . I know I'am one person and this is my view ,but after monitoring feedback from the forums and in game chat and talking on a voice chat server ,I feel confident I represent a large percentage of the player base with my observations . The people at bioware have created a game with features I wanted in previous mmo's and it feels a bit spooky that these features are exactly what my thoughts were when I discussed them a couple years ago,while the content is perfect for me ,I want to do whatever I can to make this game my home for the free time I have .

I like the name Calm . With your legacy it could be Calm Waters ,but hey come on down . With our size now ,and all knowing what the guilds about ,try to forget any apprehensions of getting involved in group content ,you know the elitist behaviour I mean . We are about enjoying the content with our mates and if your in this guild you are a mate of us all . Do what you enjoy and I will be astonished if you don't find a chunk of us that love that aspect too. We have employed a batch of droids to your ship his duties are :- 1) Make sure you are comfortable while relaxing ,If your cushions go unplumped please don't hesitate to contact Overunity and the matter will be addressed swiftly . 2) Because we require our members to be ready to do battle ,I have instructed C2-N2 to monitor your calorific intake ,because he is a droid I cover two topics with this firstly Thick refers to your excess stores of energy leading to slower responses ,secondly it refers to your level of brain activity ,low electronic pulses will explain lack of knowledge of the group content you partake in .and allowances will be made . Lastly he can detect your negative brain patterns and he reports of thoughts involving malicious intent ,please refrain from these negative emotions as we are in the process of relaxing his communications control functions to lessen his reminding notes ,but as our community has known to be forgetful ( putting it lighty ) .Note to self: don't drink the water or you will not get the magenta crystal . Its great having these electronic components trying to read your mind as to what you will do at a certain time of day ,but actually I just want it do what I want it to do like cut out the mindreading and just manually set priorities for a given task example just put in ram anything that SWTOR needs and then at least I know I'am maxxing the potential of what I have before going to the expense on upgrading.

Is there a way to utilise SUPERFETCH to prioritise loading essential gaming info ? As I understand it from vist upwards the ram is always maxxed with potential useful readily available data . Even though my task manager shows 3.2gb usage my pagefile is closer to 4gb in clean boot state on a 64 bit vista. If we cant priorities the memory Then I feel its misleading to have 4gb as a recommended When my vista 64 with restricted background processes is using 3.2 physical and the gpu with one gig is potentially dedication another chunk of physical for pure graphics . Please could I have your thoughts and any possible ways to use this feature to our advantage.

Its a disgrace , I'am 45 years old ,I have arthritus,backache ,poor vision dodgy ankles and an ingrowing toe nail. Considering the length of time the human body has been in developement ,apart from a bit of extended lifetime the version I have is still buggy and seems to run slower than when it was new. I contact the the devs all the time but I never get a response please bio-ology come on WTH.!!!!

Hello all ,I just want to post a little update . Because of the massively unexpected growth of the guild we want to keep as close to the 40 age as we can . We are friendly with Stargeezers on this server ,they take the 30+ age players. We are hoping to have a mature server community ,so if you do join them we could have some fun in same faction pvp ,nothing stopping us chatting in voice while we kick each others *** lol. Please understand we would love to play with everyone but with going on 120 members and around 230 characters in game I don't want to lose the community feel . One thing we do need though is members to fill up the european time zone. So if you are English speaking and want to join the fun come on down.
