Yeah I wouldn't give away any account as it is against the TOS. You can freely give away your unbound gear and buy stuff to give away with the cartel coins. But unfortunately if you are set on quitting the subscription time is going to go to waste. That said I hate to see anyone give up because they feel they 'suck'. Check around on your server and see if you can find a good social guild. For me the social interaction with online friends and their patience in helping me learn the end game (still not very good myself at Ops or Pvp, but I have fun). I think the OP is complaining that the new packs cost the same, but don't have a chance to have as much value, as the old packs. The old packs could theoretically have 2 gold items drop (had that happen several times) now the best you can do is one gold item and a companion gift. I always buy a few hypercrates (either from the GTN or CM using free CC I receive from referrals) each time they are released so I can speak from my limited experience. I clearly got way less value from these packs than previous ones. The only thing that got me to break even was that I got 2 Akk Dog drops (kept one and sold one) otherwise I would have lost a good portion of my investment. As was said no one is being forced to buy them, but the value is clearly less. If BW lowered the price on these new packs to 150 CC per pack I think a lot of the complaining would go away.

I think a lot of people here don't read or socially interact much and feel very high and mighty telling others to 'read better'. Depending on the context of the writing or conversation "I need to talk to one of you" can be directed at only one person even if speaking to a group. It all depends on the delivery, and in direct social interactions, the eye contact. So when the camera started and ended on Theron I (and apparently others) took it too be addressed directly at Theron. Which is why I skipped the [flirt] option since BW is world famous for ninja locking unwanted romances. I actually had no idea until days later I missed the 'lock in' for romance associated with this scene. Normally missing a single [flirt] is not that big a deal, but apparently this was the make or break scene. I guess I will never see the Kira/Lana cat fight I have been joking about since SoR.

The answer is naked PvP. I strip everything but my lightsaber and go off to war skipping around in my underwear... Really make almost no difference since I don't have any PvP gear anyway...

Honestly cruise the GTN you can get great to decent looking crystals pretty cheap. Look for one you like that is a bronze level crystal you can then unlock it in your collections for like 80 CC I think. Then you can use it on all your characters.

I kinda thought the same thing playing through on my JK. Granted Lana is a moderate Sith and of the type to be more reasonable and work for the greater good. But overall the Sith Empire and Sith in general have thus far proven to be much more sadistic, genocidal, cruel, and xenophobic than the Zakuul Empire. Also as I do work on taking my second light side character through KotFE I can't help but to think if I am a dark side Emperor's Wrath or Dark Council member I would not be looking to destroy the Zakuul Empire. I would recognize it as superior to the Sith Empire and the Republic and be working towards getting Arcaan off MY throne and seeing if perhaps Vaylin can be leashed, muzzled ,and trained obedience (if not then see follows Arcaan out the airlock).

+1 one to allowing companion customization. I have several sets of armor bought specifically for use on companions and I would like to be able to use them on the newbies. Though I like Koth and Senya's default outfits I would love to get Lana into that sweet Sith Recluse set

No need for this thread to be hostile. I really appreciate the OP posting this and at least when I take my other 7 characters through this section I will not make the same 'mistake' again. I really would like to keep attention on this so others don't make the same mistake and maybe just maybe BW gets word of this and adds a future lock in point as well...

I wish I could find the chest piece for Sith Recluse for 5mil or less. Currently at 8 million and I just can't bring myself to pay that for one piece of armor (I have the whole rest of the set)

If I am looking at a person in s group and say "I need to talk to one of you in private" in a flirtatious manner most people would think it was directed at the person you are LOOKING at (including the person you were looking at). For example if I am speaking to my mother, father, wife, and sister. I am not going to look deeply in my father's eyes and use my flirty tone and say "I need to talk to one of you in private"... I didn't get the lock in (didn't even know about it until this thread) even though my main kissed Lana in SoR and KotFE. I really hope there is another option for the lock in. I really liked the Jedi/Sith dynamic and don't really feel like this conversation was clear as being a major plot point.

Just in case BW actually reads this +1 to getting rid of the 'classic' crap. I find it immersion breaking and distracting. Wouldn't be as bad if the whole game was this way. But BW set the precedence of the wonderful voice acting so it is jolting when they take it away. I tried Wildstar last night and found it unplayable due to the NPC to player interface. Guess SWTOR has just spoiled be to anything else. Am I going to quit... Uh... NO! But it is a minor complaint in an otherwise excellent expansion.

I got 2 Akk Dogs (kept one sold one) that 10-12 million right there for selling the one. Also got 2 boxes of Zildrog supplementary armor and 2 boxes of Sith recluse lower (kept one sith recluse lower and sold one). Just those 4 items I sold (1 Akk Dog, 2 Zil Supp, and 1 Sith Lower) netted me a pile of credits... A lot depends on how quickly you can sell your stuff. After the initial rush prices steadily decline until the week of the next packs release.

I bought 2 crates opened them and kept a few items I wanted. I sold the rest and made about 24-25 million selling the remaining contents (more than enough to buy the Sith Recluse upper and supplementary armor boxes I am wanting). If I had totally bombed it wouldn't be the 1st time and surely not the last time I bombed on crates. RNG is RNG Sometimes your the windshield and sometimes your the bug...

+1 to this. Also Lana would look awesome in the new Sith Recluse set. Honestly I don't get how anyone can think the comps are now not overpowered. You can start a fight with 2-3 elites. Go make a sandwich come back and you comp killed them all without your help at all (yes I can go . I don't want them nerfed to irrelevance, but really this over the top. Problem is as previous posters noted BW doesn't understand tuning. BW nerfs to death and then walks away. Given that scenario leave them as is.

I concede your point. I was/am primarily referring to the new content. I rarely if ever go back to old content. Wait until you do KotFE and I think you will see what most people are complaining about. Maybe it's just a matter of BW needs to buff PvE mobs/bosses in the KotFE content?

I haven't created my free 60 yet. How is LS/DS handled? Does a new character start as neutral?

I didn't know that PvP is now required. I will be one of the cannon fodder when my turn rolls around. I feel your pain though BW shouldn't make people PvP to get companions or this is what you get...

I agree with the OP I didn't even know that they OP'd Heroic Moment. I haven't had to go near it. Since I am now a companion to my companion I just let them do their thing...

I bought 2 hypercrates to see how they were. Overall got some really good stuff. Just wish one of the 2 items you get was not a companion gift. I would rather have Jawa junk or just anything else. At least for the old packs you could get 2 good items if the RNG gods love you. I did several times and it was quite a thrill

I wanted to see if it was possible. With my comps set on heal I completed the 1st 7 chapters of the new content (going to try all 9) pressing only the 1 button during fights and no self healing (including medpacks). Haven't died once with a Guardian in a mix of Ziost and Rishi geat

I know a lot of different topics have been discussed on the forums lately about KotFE, but I have only seen a passing mention of the difficulty level of KotFE. Is it me or is the difficult level need a really big time tune up? I am running a Guardian level 60 (up to 62 now) in partial Rishi/partial Ziost gear, un-augmented and basically I am immortal. I can literally watch TV press 1 non stop during a boss fight and not die. Non boss mobs are even easier if that is possible. Granted I have only completed chapter IV, but so far I find the fights to be absolutely mind numbing. I know this game has never been very difficult during story content, but this is way beyond the norm. Does this get harder? Is this a bug or as intended? On a positive note I am really enjoying the story. PS Bring back 'Hulk' Lokin,and Holiday!

Easiest way to make money. Buy packs (or other high demand items) from the CM and sell on the GTN. As a sub you get 500+ CC a month plus anything you are getting for referrals.

One good thing is you will only have to gear your toons not the companions as well. So even if they lower from 12 to 3 or 6 it would still be doable.
