Cheating in pvp? Wow thats a shocker. Let's get rid of pvp, that will take care of the cheating.

Ah gotcha. So the things you can't abandon are the bonus missions from quest instances? The green/red forcefield thresholds? Then yea that bites. Can you reset the quests in your quest log and then go back into the instances to clear them? Never ran across this, but then I always compltete the bonus stuff.. just brainstorming to try to help.

Yes I agree that it is messed up that you can't abandon them, but until they do get this fixed, couldnt you just go solo these greyed out quests and get rid of em once and for all?

Did he over react? Possibly... but then look at it from his side... how many times has someone rolled need on him when they couldn't use the item? You stated "All had legacy names" so while his behavior might have been rude, you rolling on something without being sure you could use it is just as bad. As far as time wasted, he wasted just as much time as you did so that is a wash. You didn't get to finish the FP and he didnt get a loot upgrade.

Standard complaint for anything of dislike.. racism... prejudice... or just fall back on the newest quip.. someone is "being bullied"...gah. But yea it would seem us casual players would acutally need to be our own race for someone to make a "racist" comment about casual play. I dunno... people are getting weirder by the day.

+1 Exactly. People need to take a deep breathe and stop worrying about what the guy next to them is doing so darn much and just play the game.

/shrug. No big deal to me. It's a bug that will get fixed. Not overly concerned with how fast I accomplish things ingame one way or the other.

I've played a crafter in almost every MMO I have played, and I hate the idea of item decay. No thank you.

Welcome to the launch of an MMO. It will calm down eventually but for the time being downtime is to be expected. Get over it.

I've nevr played an MMO where if you bought something by mistake that there was a forgiveness factor for it. Stop asking for hand holding and pay more attention to what you are doing.

All in all I think most would agree that travel lag is totally unecessary. This game, at least to me makes it far worse... instead of standing there with other players and waiting, you have to run throughg multiple empty zones and load screens where there is absolutely zero other people.. just to get on your ship to click a button to go to another loading screen... the entire travel design is really awkwardand not fun in any way.

Because it is a money sink to open up more inventory slots, and it is a time sink to trduge back to a vendor and sell your junk when your inventory is full.

Negative ghostrider, the pattern is full. It is NOT the players responsibility to be aware and to be careful of what abilities they use so some nutswab doesn't gank them. Choosing to play on a PvE server... check... choosing not to flag yourself for PvP... check... those are the players responsibilities... some e-peen running into your AoE because he is 20 levels higher than you falls outside the realm of what the PvE'r should have to take into consideration. It's a bug that people are exploiting to grief other players. It is by no means "working as intended".

Intended? Really? It's a bug that exploiters are using to gank people. The whole point of playing on a PvE server is that you don't have to PvP if you don't want to. It's not a feature its a glitch, and people should be reporting the abusers when it happens.

I'll take the timer over corpse recoveries and experience penalties any day of the week and twice on sundays.

C. I'll invite.. especially when you have those "Kill X number of Y's" bonus stuff as well, it usually speeds things up. If they decline then I will just wait. Yea it's a little annoying but the resawpn on flashy quest objects isn't overly long, I wouldn't mind em refreshing a bit more quickly, but all in all I don't find it that big of a deal.
