  2. You can also be sure that it was posted that "Nearest Target" is totally broken for melee..... Since it will target players behind you or completely to your sides if they are a tad closer. Move along.

  6. Just finished another huttball.... Im out of the respawn.... The enemy ball carried is at the final ramp and is all i can see.... I press the all mighty Tab.... Execute the leap!!! AND !!! BAM .... i find myself charging a player 90 degrees to the right and 30m away. Yey... he scored and I'm with full cooldowns.

  9. Sry then. Yea... I wouldn't use my force camo as a closer only if I need to reach a healer through a dense pack in order to get to him. If I leap it will draw too much attention and the team will try to peel me off the healer sooner.

  11. Sry mate but sents/mara should try to avoid opening with a charge on a knockbacker. so you can charge after the knockback and snare him.
  12. Hmmm didn't say I die a lot. You are confusing me with someone else maybe. Anyhow. I agree with the rest of stuff you wrote. You can say people just now realized there is a class called sent/mara and that you can't leave it unchecked. Just like you can't leave a BH or Commando sitting there spamming without focusing on them.

  14. All very correct accept that OS should be cast before or during the leap. You can still sometimes get a knockback (knockbacks are rare in this game) before ZS lands (sometimes the animation stucks and you don't really get the hit due to a bit o latency.
  15. If you don't die a lot, if means either: 1. You have a supporting team (healz, guards) 2. Opposing team just don't focus on you that much Outside of your camo you could die in a blink if focused while stunned or even snared. Im myself in a pvp guild, with a team that supports me. And yes I don't die a lot. But when I go solo, I die more. At least 2 times more on some cases. It is all about support. Can I get a guarded healer to 50% in 3-4 GCD ? No I can't, and I wouldn't even try.
  16. 3-4 GCD and you are on 50% ? Leap + OS + Rebuke (1) ZS (2) Cauterize (3) Any other available ability here, could vary on the situation (4) And after this you are on 50% ? lol ?
  17. Very agree, if ppl in wz wouldn't be sooo into just pounding damage mindlessly, and be a bit more aware to their surroundings no one would let a sentinel sit on a tank or a healer
  18. No class is weak in the hands of a good player. And yes it can be traumatic when a sentinel with full cooldowns is going one on one with you, you just need to know what he is doing. In a grp situation sentinels can be easily maneuvered.
  19. A 6 cd second cd for an interrupt. Ever heard of fake casting ? In this game... fake casting is **** easymode. Here is the situation.... You are a sorc, a sentinel jumps on you, you cast your minor heal.... just for the funz, the sentinel 90% will kick it (the other 10% means he is a bad player), and then you just keep spamming your big heals and your friends can come and peel that sentinel in a matter of seconds. VERY OP !!! it is just a matter of l2p. A good sentinel doesn't use his blade storm unless a small gap is being made since it is lacking in the benefit per force department and has no chance of resetting your cauterize cooldown. Sentinels can put a pressure on, this is our design. But we are not bursty compared to other classes. And have nothing to do vs snares. Force leap... heard of LoS, pushback, cover, stuns, snares (Not effecting resolve) ? A good player will know how to minimize our time on target to gimp all of our abilities. Never run out of focus ? Yes you can. Never say never, that is just stupid.
  20. ^ This, is very true. It is very wrong to type every ability from all the possible trees and claim a single sentinel/mara can do ALL this sh**. Seriously.... If you are a good player, countering a sentinel in wz isn't a hard task. People usually don't pay attention to sentinels and don't focus on them.... and then they are surprised they are top damage and kills. I can force camo, just to see the sorc thinks i disappeared from the face of the planet and starts to spam on some other target - all that for me to just come and finish the job. When I play vs my mirror and he force camo, i wait for him to pop back just to charge him immediately again. Learn your enemy classes. L2P
  21. Maybe , maybe not. But asking for the nearest to be a frontal targeting is a very valid call. I can also say that most of the people don't play a melee and thus not experiencing this in the magnitude that melee classes do. You target what is in your frontal vision, not behind. You want to target nearest behind you.... turn.
  22. I never claimed I have an issue in playing with the targeting mechanism. 26 binds on my sentinel... another 2 for targeting really aint that bothering. But the system is horrible, it is not intuitive and buggy (as people including myself have posted). The OP has 2 suggestions for 2 targeting methods that will make this whole thing more intuitive and less random (since during a wz, as melee, targeting gets so random since you are always surrounded.) They can be so kind to add these 2 new options and not perform a complete overhaul.
  23. No. It is by no means a l2p factor. The system is not intuitive.
