  1. Honestly this is just something I remember from another MMO that I thought was extremely cool in PvP. It helped to give a pure tank control over the battlefield in PvP and keep opponents focused on himself. The game Aion had a very unique AOE taunt system. Basically when cast 5 or 6 harpoons/grapples would shoot out around the tank and pull 5/6 enemies within "X" vicinity to himself. They would also suffer from slowed movement speed for 5 or 10 seconds. It made it very hard for people to simply ignore a pure tank on the battlefield because if left unchecked he could control the field of battle. It allowed the tank to break up the normal premade group assist trains you see out there today. While I was not a fan of Aion I loved the way their tanks worked in PvP. Single target taunts would also force the target to attack the tank for 6 seconds before they could switch targets. Not sure if such a system would work in swtor and needless to say if implemented it should be at the top of the tank tree for balance purposes. Pure tanks do zero damage and are often ignored completely. Borrowing from Aions tanking system would change that.
  2. If money is no object then go with a Falcon Northwest. They can be a bit more pricey than others at times but they have been in the game longer than most and their service is second to none. Perfect example is their systems come with a standard 3 year warranty (most only do 1 year). You can also return the system for a full refund within the first 30 days if you are unhappy with it. What's even better is how they handle things if something does go wrong with your computer. If an issue arises and they can't fix it over the phone they will pay to have it shipped to them overnight. Then once fixed they will ship it back to you overnight as well so your not out of the game for long. And they pay for all of it.
  3. Shows up on my assassin when i do it.
  4. Aww come on that hat was total win! It was like a victory anytime we could taunt our sage enough in chat to /showhelm in a raid lol.
  5. Oh nice thx. Guess i should have played with it more didn't realize you could narrow the rating down to per server/class.
  6. Where did these numbers come from pretty sure there are more people then that . Though i could be wrong and missing some filter on the boards that show these type of numbers?

  8. Ibuypower and Cyberpowerpc are sister companies so basically the same thing but with some different sales from time to time. Be very careful with these companies. As they have become more popular over the years quality and service has gone way down. I used to build my own computers but as i got older (and lazier) I chose to just purchase systems every couple of years. With ibuypower it's either hit or miss. And when it's a big miss be ready for a very bumpy ride. Over the years i ended up owning 4 systems from them. After the 4th system i said never again. That was a few years ago so maybe things have changed but from what i have read on their support forums that doesn't seem to be the case. The first two systems when the company was new was flawless, second system had a couple of minor hiccups and the third system along with the hassle of it all never again. I am sure many people here have great systems from both companies. However in my experience with them it's more hassle then it's worth if something goes wrong.
  9. Just went to do the weekly but can't click the juke box. Seems other players having same issue.
  10. This was fixed once then broken again when S&V first came out. Anyway none of the cartel rest items regen energy or ammo for the Trooper, Smuggler or Agent classes. Only health regens.
  11. It's not too bad here. On average your looking at a 2 to 1 ratio. Though weekends may give a bit more of an edge on the imp side. Pretty much any server you go to is going to favor the imps either way. Except for one of the RP servers i believe. Think they are pretty much all republic but not sure.
  12. Not at all because unless i am mistaken swtor is only 32 bit. Your latency is due to your inet connection or in an extreme case due to a bottleneck within your system. Perfect example is people who build an "OK" system with a monster vid card and a 450 watt p/s.
  13. It's mainly due to a shortage of tanks queing up vs the number of dps players in the game. Not to mention half the tanks in game won't que with pugs if they can avoid it (can't blame them). Also due to tanks getting insta pops they are normally capped on weekly comms within the first couple of days (i know mine is) and thus there is no need to que any longer. Think my tank was in full 69's within the first couple days after the patch with market drops. As it stands he is already in full 72's. The only reason I run any fp's at all on him is to help guildies. Other than that they are useless to my tank toon. Your best bet is to get into an active guild and just find a tank queing up in there so you don't have to wait X number of hours for a pop.
  14. While things have gotten better since f2p lets be honest. This game survives because it is Star Wars and that alone. The way EA handles even such trivial things as making dye's completely random shows how much people will continue to pay just because it is Star Wars.
  15. Even with name changes the person should still be on your ignore list. Well at least it works that way for friends list. Devs changed a friend of mines name and he was still on my friends list just with the new name. And also especially if your a tank always put people like that on ignore. This way they don't get a que pop with you and they may have to wait a bit longer for que pops as well due to being on peoples ignore lists.
  16. What pants are these? Curious because i know i used to have them but must have sold them by mistake.
  17. No clue but it's the rarest item in game that people know of. Think maybe 10 or perhaps 20 ppl tops have it at this point between all the servers ? Granted it's just a novelty item but still very rare.
  18. Tough call but sticking with my tank spec VG. Figure at the very least the new hm 55 fp's will be insta pop.
  19. Nothing like being on hm tfb with him at 10% and then the server crashes =/
  20. Not swtor but pvp related and some old timers may have been waiting for news of this one for a long time. Live video link for Camelot Unchained going up in 2 minutes. http://www.gamebreaker.tv/live/
  21. Yah BW has made a lot of mistakes when it comes to gearing however i can't see them pulling a move like this. As stated above perhaps no longer allowing RE'ing of future upgrades but making legacy gear no longer swappable between toons would be a big mistake. Not only would it destroy the very small amount of value behind the legacy system it would also kill off people caring about grinding reputation with factions. Thus nulling out the current value of the reputation system all together (unless you really really wanted to look like tron).
  22. Honestly as a tank I don't even bother kiting this guy anymore. With ranged dps as long as just the tank is on center only one bubble will drop on him. He can then just move to another corner of the center square. With melee dps you can just have everyone stack on the tank. If dps or healer gets the target they just run out and drop it against a side wall etc then come back in. Wash and repeat. If the tank happens to get targeted the bubble drops on him but then the entire group that's stacked on him moves to another corner with him. I know people love to kite this fight and to each their own but honestly it just adds more chaos imo to a fight that's relatively simple.
  23. Think it's just due to HK. Though honestly repub side has gone full retard in outlaws den lol. Got toons on both sides of the fence. Empire is working together to control the vendor and not target one another. Repub side has their own shadows camping their own entrance to outlaws den. Give it a week or two and life should be back to normal.
