  1. I'm almost only playing PvP and I simply hate the harnessed shadow nerf. To me it feels like there is no point in going up kinetic that high any more. This somewhat shortens the viable possibilities you have for pvp. a) 31/ x / x full tank (including gear) b) 23/ x / x kinetic hybrid c) x/ x / 31 full balance Infiltration already is unplayable in PvP as it is, balance works quite fine but you're squishy and feel more like a crippled Sage. I usually don't mind nerfs as long as other viable options are available or other skills are buffed as compensation. But considering marauder/sentinels dominating every single wz I'd like to see them tuned down as well.
  2. Halle Leute, ich habe nach längerer Pause (seit März) mal wieder Spielzeit gekauft und bin positiv über die Fülle der Veränderungen überrascht. Hinsichtlich PvP ist mir allerdings einiges nicht klar: Gibt es nur noch 3 PvP Sets? unter Battlemaster, Battlemaster und Warhero? Was ist mit Centurion und Champion passiert? Was kann ich noch mit alten Champion/Centurion/Battlemaster Marken anfangen? Habe nichts gefunden, wo ich die abgeben könnte. Haben unzusammengebaute PvP Set-Teile noch irgend eine Verwertungsmöglichkeit, oder sind die nun vollkommen aus dem Spiel? Hat Ilum keinen echten Nutzen mehr? Wäre lieb wenn mich mal jemand ins Bilde setzen könnte, wie nun die Progression aussehen soll. Hatte damals bis Rang 60/Battlemaster gefarmt. Habe nun das Gefühl, dass das sehr viel weniger wert ist.   3. Cant confirm that. Skill works as intended for me. Only thing is that with a bit of bad luck your dots dont crit for quite a time.
  4. In 1:1 and single target damage I'd say Infiltration is better. For PvP with group dynamics and overall damage including multiple dots and aoe damage balance is better. Additionally you have 2 30m skills which can come in handy in Huttball. Its just a matter of taste to be honest. I find them pretty well balanced- both have clear pros and cons. Personally I prefer balance though.
  5. I'd say surge now works as intended because surge wasnt meant to be that high I guess.
  6. PvE becomes harder overall with this surge nerf/fix which isnt a bad thing. In PvP e.g. tanks who didnt rely on crit/surge are buffed. In all other aspects nothing at all changed! In a burst 1:1 of an assassin and an op the fight will be the same as before.
  7. I never tried kinetic seriously and havent seen videos so far which makes this one a novelty for me. I wont criticise your playing style, since I dont know whats important for a kinetic specced shadow. But man... you can outlast many situations because youre taking a lot of damage but those damage numbers are depressingly low! Most dots crit higher than most of your skills when being balance specced. Do you even get the 300k medal each match? I just now realise that youre a 100% tank when being kinetic, no way you'll ever could be called "damage dealer". Specced this way you cant even burst a healer, nor dps. I couldnt play that way, but its still important to have tanks in a grp setup I guess.
  8. A guide for keybinding? Are you serious? Just bind 1 2 3 4 5 6 q e r t f g v c x y(z) and < and if those arent enough go for alt + x for CDs and rarely used skills.

  10. Well, thousands of ppl in the forum hated the old system and called for a new, more reliable system. They got what they called for.
  11. Balance is probably the worse 1:1 spec of all trees. Therefore the overall dmg is the best. If you want to destroy ppl in 1:1 I'd go for infiltration.
  12. Thats so illogical that it hurts in my brain. If you knew that you get the legacy from 30+ on why complain that you didnt get anything out of it leveling alts without even having one single level 30? Your complaint just seems to be "stupid", I'm sorry. And as a short remark: leveling 5 lvl 20s doesnt take as long as leveling one level 50, so your total of 89 levels doesnt say anything at all about effort.
  13. Space combat is just a minigame like swoop racing in KOTOR or dice poker in The Witcher. How could you possibly expect something like a second game, running on a second engine in a mmo like that? You cant be serious.
  14. This thread has to be a troll right? Its pretty unlikely that a chubby, fat woman gets to live the life of a Jedi or adventuerer. In addition I dont think that fat women arent "prefered" by players of female toons.

  17. I dont even get what this thread is about. I mean, isnt that thread in some way prove that people love to post negative stuff? Why would anybody care with which motivation people come to a forum? OF COURSE people come to a forum to complain, not to give positive feedback all the time. Even if the people complaining are a vast minority they will appear to be an important percentage of the whole community. Just look at the Diablo 3 Forum for example - the game wasnt even released yet and 90% of posts consist of people complaining about everything. This doesnt tell us anything at all about how many people are looking forward to getting this game as well as negative feedback in the swtor forum doesnt really tell us anything about the majority of the community.
  18. Indeed and I agree that your melee skills and sage skills arent linked in any way. You dont have a "real" reason to go melee if you dont like to. The attempt of mind crush making you go melee for the proc is pretty weak. My solution to link dots, force abilities and melee attacks in a coherent way would be the following: a) make mind crush (talented) an instant cast with 12-15sec cd. Not a proc. b) Get rid of the 50% surge buff on double strike and make it a talent which makes you stack debuffs on your enemy which increase your periodic abilities damage. E.g. 100% chance on hit to apply 10% (or x% - its a matter of maths which number would make its damage increase adequate) more dot damage. Stacks up to 5 times (50% more dot dmg in this example) Lasts 10-15 seconds. This way you could stack up debuffs on your target and then (or before) dot it for high dps. This build wouldnt offer high burst but high dps and would seccessfully link dots with your melee attacks.
  19. How could you not deal 400k? My new max today was 590k in voidstar and I'm not even BM yet. Balance all the way.
  20. Ofc you focus on prio targets but you can dot some targets first to put some additional pressure on healers and get some selfhealing. Damage on single targets hasnt really changed. Edit: And I have to disagree that dmg alone doesnt contribute to PvP. Ofc you shouldnt only aim on banging out as many numbers as possible but if 5 enemies simultaneously lose (lets say) 20% of their health due to dots, you couldnt contribute to teamplay more. Your teammates have less hp to burst and enemy healers have a lot more to outheal.
  21. PvP: Not having a CD on force breach is such an insane buff. Just dot 4-5 people in a zerg and keep sever force and force in balance on cd, pop mind crush when free and the dmg as well as the selfhealing is just going crazy. I've been balance before and consider the new patch to be a crystal clear buff of my class. My average dmg output per wz has increased by ~100k (I got full champ gear, no bm stuff) and I havent seen any kinetic or infiltration shadow coming even close to my dmg. (not even full bm guys) Edit: Another great benefit of using that many dots is that you still deal dmg when youre dead or when taking a regen time out in stealth. PvE: Not yet tested.
  22. I'd really love to have Pazaak (card game) and swoop races in SWTOR like we had in KOTOR. Or any other minigame of that kind (e.g. the "dwarven poker" in The Witcher I&II was great as well and could be transferred to be more star wars'ish quite easily). Its not mandatory for a game to have those but a variety of additional minigames could increase the game's atmosphere in a huge way especially if you could play those against others with trophies and "weeks best" etc. What do you think?
  23. I find the republic side simply much more enjoyable. Being evil all the time is just boring as hell while leveling and as soon as youre maxed it doesnt matter any more. I wonder about sith being played that much more often tbh, since in WoW Alliance was played much more often in the beginning than Horde. But in the end its all just a matter of style, so theres nothing to be "done" about it, i guess.
  24. Why the hell do people care about this "day/night" thing? Besides, it would be totally illogical to have that when youre travelling to different planets all the time. Or should every planet has its own, independant day/night circle? I doubt it.
