  1. Sounded like a bad business plan to begin with. You can't work miracles.
  2. This game already has more confirmations than most games out there, and yet people are complaining that they can't tell the difference between ***.** and ***,*** ? Besides the fact the difference between a , and . can SOMETIMES get confused, you have a 2 digit spacing vs a 3 digit. If you accidentally click something for 25,000 instead of 25.00, is it really the sellers fault you can't tell the difference between a 00 and a 000 when there is a mark identifier? NO game I have ever played uses OPs suggestion. The reasoning is because the thought of confusing the 2 would mean that you have far more serious issues in your life then an extra digit in a game.
  3. It's quite clear that anon is just trolling people at this point with is retaliative insults, but I just want to ask one thing. How would his suggestion protect people any differently then what they are now? If, by his own thought process, people aren't noticing the , and., what makes you think they will notice the colors as well? When people rush through the sales (Which, again, is obvious considering you have to double confirm sales), why do you think adding colors will have any difference on the outcome. Will you be refunding people that complain they were 'scammed' using your method? If not, I guess your method isn't as great as you praise it out to be.
  4. Um. What? This post..I don't even. So by implementing a color base 'solution' would make everyone's point 'moot'? Wouldn't the same be said for, well, anything? EA shuts down the servers today, guess our point is moot. A nuclear explosion wipes out all life, guess our argument is moot. The Death Star appears near our planet and blows us to oblivion, guess we were having these discussions for Alderaan reasons. Seriously? Why don't you realize that "your fantasy of having formed an argument looks very silly" Also, What difference would color mean. If the guy couldn't notice commas or digit length, what makes you think he'd notice color?
  5. I should also mention that windowed full screen also reduces FPS a bit.
  6. I'm reading this thread with a smirk. I can't say anything here that hasn't been said already, but when all these special requests like color changes come up, I can't help but laugh. Things like this are not needed. I can't see why anyone would confuse any price on the GTN. Also, no other MMORPG that I can think of have these special requests you all are asking for. This game has more safeguards than most games out there. I'm sorry. Nothing needs to be changed, I see 3 separate ways the game protects you from buying something by accident. I honestly can't see how you could make such a mistake unless you just weren't paying attention, and blindly clicking accept on every box that popped up. That's not the games fault, it's not the developers fault, and it sure as hell isn't the sellers fault, so calling them a scammer is more than just childish, it's ignorant.
  7. This is my only REAL complaint about the game so far, and I'm hoping that there is some fix for it because it drives me nuts. I run with 2 monitors, and I'm used to having all my games stick to 1 of them. What I mean by that is that currently whenever I play a game, if I want to go to the other monitor to do stuff, I have to alt + tab to get there, and I like that. It ensures your mouse pointer is locked into that one screen while playing. With this game, however, that is not the case. Currently, any time I move my cursor off screen, it actually goes off screen. And if I happen to click off screen? The game completely minimizes, which makes me have to alt tab back into it, then sit through a mini loading screen. Now, that's in their so called 'full screen mode', which in my opinion is a false full screen. Anyways, this isn't so bad with most of the game, as there really isn't many openings to accidentally click outside your screen. HOWEVER, this is a HUGE killer when you're doing star fights, as your cursor is ALWAYS going off screen when you're turning your ship in any direction. It's impossible to play any star fighter match in the games full screen mode. Now, I know they have a windowed full screen, and that's what I now use. The only downside to using this is that it always pushes your PC a bit harder, so you always hear your fans kick up a bit. Nothing you can do, it's a fact of life that windowed mode uses more resources then full screen. It does save me in star fights, but I still run into issues that when I turn and turn and turn in my ship, I have to drag my mouse back a heck of a lot more to even out, because my cursor is still way off screen. But, hey, no more hassle if I accidentally click off screen, and no more mini loading screens, so it's not completely bad, just still very annoying. Is there ANY way, in game and without 3rd party programs, that I can have a true full screen mode that locks your mouse in the monitor your game is running in? Just seems odd that every other game I have ever owned, this was never a problem. It's only this one game that has this issue.
  8. This thread is funny, but for Alderaan reasons.
  9. Couple of questions about this. I have only been a subscriber for a bit over a month, so this will be my first time getting something like this (sort of). Will these be a 1 time thing for 1 character? Or will every character have them? Will they be treated like that Anniversary Yellow/Black color crystal that every new character you create gets? Will this be something already tied to your item collection? Or do you have to spend cartel coins on if you want them for all of your characters? Sorry for the questions, just want to know. Thanks in advance.
  10. My only question(s) about them is this. Will it be a 1 time deal for 1 character? Or can we keep getting them for each character every time we create a new one? Also, will it be in the item collection by default? Or do we have to spend cartel points for it to be usable for all characters?
  11. Please re-read my post for the reason I was wanting to grind at level 40. If I could get my character to 60, I would, but I'm going through the quests with a friend.
  12. I can't do that right now, as I said, I'm leveling with a friend. Where can a level 40 grind for good exp? Without questing.
  13. So I guess just keep using the xp boosters, then? In that case, where is a great place for someone around level 40 to just grind for XP without doing quests? As I said, I don't want to continue off story without my friend there.
  14. Hey all, I've been playing for about 4 weeks, and I'm seeing a lot of stuff in legacy I REALLY want to try. My issue is that legacy seems to be a slow path. I've got 3 characters, a level 21, 24, and a 39. My current legacy level is only 4, so I just feel it's taking a bit too much time. Is there ANY way to level this faster? Also, is there any tips you can give for a Marauder and an Assassin to level up faster? Those 2 characters I am kind of sidelining because they aren't all that fun to level so far. I love my Merc, but I am only allowed to play him when my friend is on, since we are playing together.
  15. My mara is 21, but I don't think Mako is the starting companion your thinking of. I use Vette. Mako is for the BH that I can see.
  16. Yeah, me and my friends quit ESO once the news broke. Also, unless you subscribe, you're shafted from many zones of the game. It's sad, I was hoping on that crime system to be implemented in the game, and it never really has yet. It's ok, though. I was burned out from how bland the game was. I hate games that give you so very few options, especially when it came to gear.
  17. Well, that's telling me that that number means nothing. I registered 3 days ago, and my number is waaaaay lower than yours.
  18. As a person that has played Archeage, all I can do is laugh at you. Sorry. I still have tickets from Archeage that are 2-3 months old that haven't been answered yet because I'm still in their 'ticket line' Reason I left.
  19. So, I'd assume the Arsenal path for Merc would be the way to go?
  20. Sorry, kysan, that's not what I'm looking for. I'm not looking to spend anything on it, and my legacy isn't even level 1 yet. I'm looking for a easy class I can level quickly. Something I can just mess around with while waiting for my friend to come on and play our other characters on. I'm not going to switch guilds, buy things with credits or cartel coins, or do much of any PvP with. I'm just looking for a class that I can just get on, decimate, and not worry about any story or anything. Just a class I can level fast, mainly by the ability of high DPS AoEs, that I can faceroll areas while waiting for a friend to get on so we can play our story characters together.
  21. The assassin follows teh inquisidor line, but I'm just looking for a character right now that can faceroll groups of mobs and level quickly. I don't need this character to be PVP pased, just something to waste some time in. Assassin is good, but it really only has 1 ranged AoE attack at my level, and it doesn't do a great amount of damage, and it has a 10-15 sec cooldown. It can land things down pretty well with it's sweeping lightsaber attack, but as I said earlier, I don't want to play it because I'm leveling it with a friend. What about the Sorcerer? Does it have a wider amount of AoE attacks? I see it's only a single lightsaber class, so does it also have any sweeping attacks for close range fights? I tend to avoid it if I can being a light armor class.
