  1. Returning player here looking for a PvP guild. I've been away from the game since patch 3ish when I was a sniper player. Now I'm looking to get back into the game and work back up to a competitive level on Juggernaut. Pst Markeise
  2. you can't really be mad that this game is absent of pvp integrity and class balancing. it was never intended to be a pvp game from the get go.
  3. I've experienced this a few times in the last couple months. While playing I become unable to use skills, travel to stronghold, etc but still able to move. I log out in order to rectify, then get placed in a login queue. I am a subscriber. Is this intended? Is there a system in place to force people out of the game so that they have to take a turn in the login queue? Anyone else experiencing this?
  4. SS is full of RP'ers, especially pub side, but at least they're not actually RPing in the warzone. You can tell by looking at their guild name or character name. There are a couple guilds that when I see them on my team in a warzone, i know it's an auto loss. Despite that though, they do try their best. So i can't fault them for it.
  5. It's because this is a PvE game, not a PvP game. They balance classes around PvE. The changes do not cater to PvP integrity whatsoever. It's been like this for years.
  6. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the amount of RP on the pub side. Whenever I join a que and see guilds like "The Eternal Alliance" and "The Jedi Order" I know it's an auto-loss. That being said, since the server merge I have seen more good pub players sprinkled in amongst the RP'ing garbage on the "west coast" NA merged server.

  14. The game's pvp population is not large enough for multiple qeues like you're suggesting. queue's will never pop.
  15. it was the sluggish movement that turned me off. it really hampered how much you could push yourself mechanically.
  16. too long without balance? this game has been like this since release; a balance patch once a year, twice if we're lucky. that's mmo pvp for you. if you expect anything better then you're playing the wrong genre.
  17. yep. healers hard carry games. that's no secret. nothing you can do though. this is a pve game. not a pvp game. don't expect pvp integrity in a pve game.

  21. absolutely not. one of the very few nice things of swtor pvp is that you can leave a game when you don't want to play anymore. no need to make the game like league of legends.
  22. I sum up the SWTOR vs GW2 pvp debate like this: GW2 has a far better combat system. Skill shot aoe and cleave with dodge roll > point and click with global cooldown. SWTOR has far better game modes. Celestial ammulet and conquest only are straight cancer. GW2 has Stronghold now though but I haven't tried it.
