This is completely off memory, so don't consider this absolute fact. The turrets break frequently. I'm not sure how it happens, but it does. They burn out and stay that way until the server or the instance resets (assumption). You can use it for 15 seconds if it's available for use, and during that time you'll fire a series of long range shots that hit many targets with area damage. The turret cools down in a minute or less, if I remember correctly. (that is, when it doesn't break down...) Any controlling effects (stuns, knockbacks, etc.) will force you out of it and immediately put it on cooldown. That's all that comes to mind...
