  1. No need for more tiers of gear,'that's just power creep. Bolster is still fine.
  2. Spike maul, recklessness, discharge, shock all do crazy dmg in an opener on low exp targets. Then volt slash x 2, low slash and maul again with shock then discharge at 3 stacks and vanish and do it all over again. It's pretty well comparable IMO except as a sin dps I have much better defensives but no range.
  3. What's the issue here? In conq gear with willpower aug'd I get 10k mauls on PvE geared folks. Seems fine to me. Nice vid.

  6. Wildstar is pretty much all instanced PvP like this game mate. The competitive players will be doing arena, the scrubs that need 39 other people will be in warplots and the baddies will roll stalkers and gank lowbies in the open world. You are mistaken if you think there is objective based open world PvP, all the focus in wildstar and the dev effort will be on the ranked modes, arena 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5. It makes sense and is pretty awesome actually.

  9. Not true. I play every arena that pops because it's my fav warzone game type by far and I que solo all the time. It's just too fast paced for some people and they can't keep up, that's ok though cuz that's what civil war is for.

  11. Please put Civil War and Novare coast in its own que as well, I don't like Domination or clicking on nodes and guarding them, I find it incredibly boring.
  12. I play imp on Harbringer and really find it hard to believe you have lost 25 in a row when I know the quality of the majority of my fellow Imps. You must be extremely unlucky.
  13. This right here. Also on my alts whilst Levelling, I would que for arena all day for the comms, do and valor. Convert them into planetary comms or medpacks. Helps that I love arena, but if we are splitting qued can we put civil war and Novare coast in its on "Team Domination" que, cause I want to be able to que wz's but not get one of those 2 so I want void star, hyper gates and huttball in its own que.

  16. The 2k HP is a bit of a difference, huge is a bit hyperbole though. The 40 power is ridiculously minor and not even thinking about. Each to thier own man, I wear PvP gear and just play as intended. I don't even bother with Obroan gear, fully aug'd and min/max'd conq gear is just fine. The rest of my comms just gear alts. EDIT: I use Obroan relics because they are a size able upgrade over conq. Set pieces are so small it's not worth it to me.
  17. Yes I was around, that's exactly what I said. And yes I know it's still laggy with massive battles and you can crash a server. What I was saying is that Ilum at release was far worse then what large scale PvP is right now if it occurs and a lot of that was due to the announcements that were there at Ilum as per a very old dev post that I CBA finding.
  18. With a community like the one in this game, no matter what Bioware could think up and implement it would be exploited in some way. It's been like that since launch, every single system that's made it into live has been picked apart and exploited for max gains, even kill and win trading. I wouldn't bother if I was them, the players of TOR as a collective have next to zero competitive bones in thier body and will do anything for an advantage or faster rewards. Trading pylons, win trading in ranked, que syncing, farming boxes in ilum like Mario cart, kill trading with AoE on naked players for valor gains etc it's all been done not to mention gear, relics, bolster, phase walk, acid avoidance etc etc. Sure, the devs leave themselves open here with some of it but it's not like any of this was accidental. I played Ilum on 2 servers at launch and kill trading and pylon trading was rampant for quest completion. RvR is overrated. It will still end in zerg gameplay like the rest of the RvR games did and still do. Clumping up, aoeing or trading grapples to monster Indaviduals. Melee will be bored of being exploded and ranged will just kick back behind thier base and dps stuff whilst healers fluff AoE heal. As a positive, I could get behind an instanced (only way it should be) warzone that's around 16v16 or even 24v24 at a stretch. Map would need to be relative large with multiple spawn points like GSF has with static objectives and also dynamic moving objectives aswell (5 nodes maybe, like Novare Coast but with a CTF mechanic or a mechanic where something has to be guarded whilst it moves across the map, multiple moving targets to be protected actually would be best). It should also be starts Le with less players and full up in groups of 4 like GSF currently does so that at least matches pop. Outside of something like that, it's kind of futile without cross server. Ilum FPS was terrible because of the messaging system, not the amount of players. I think a lot of people have forgotten that. Devs said the announcements was what was ruining FPS which is why OWPvP on Oricon isn't anywhere near as laggy even with lots of players.
  19. You could just, you know, use the PvP gear thats provided and not worry about it. Its not like it makes much of a difference tbh.
  20. I arrange all my skills by the color of the icons and just press them from right to left. If I'm feeling ambitious, within thier color zones I also arrange them alphabetically. Seems to work ok. Jokes aside, I like to play a support role but will take initiative of the team needs it. I prefer the arena game mode (which never bloody pops in regs.... Bah) but always play objectives because I don't trust randoms.

Let's add arena to its own que, a ranked huttbal league with its own que aswell, 1v1 ranked que like the other post on this front page and just because I don't like domination, I want Novare Coast and Civil Bore in a seperate que and let's not forget Pazaak, ranked and Unranked qued of course. Have I missed any? Can we divide the player see any further? Oh yeah, ranked 8v8 que aswell. Let's do that.
  22. I'll stick to PvP gear thanks and play the system as intended. An extra 1% damage or even less is not game breaking in anyway to me and by far not a reason for any losses or not performing. It just seems like a whinge for the same of whinging in here.
  23. Yeah, you can but those 2 classes do it exceptionally quick with thier target on the ground. Additionally, pair them up and they take nodes like a beast.
  24. Good to see IMO. I don't play dps operative or scoundrel, but considering the damage increase is just step 1 of Biowares Operative improvement it looks solid, next will come survivability adjustments. I still think nothing blows up a dps player like an operative and assassin working together, if you can have someone riding a healer and those 2 opening up on someone it's GG.
  25. Bolster is fine as it is. Just use the PvP gear as intended and win with skill. All these bolster threads about fixes are ridiculous.
