Based on the feedback here, Assault seems to suck compared to commando. Try them both and see what you like. I could only see myself playing assault with my vanguard.

I got too annoyed by this as well. I am simply back to PVE until they really make some changes to this bolster system where it actually works right. That probably won't happen until another 5 patches at least or another expansion.

As said by others, this is real proof that they do not do their testing. Sorry but you really need to do better Bioware and stop hiring people who don't care. 5 months later....Defeated by lolbolster by Discharge (145,439 damage).

I would like to see more huttball like based pvp games myself. It's rather more fun having to work as a team than just having people have a zergfest with healers just healing nonstop and no one dying or getting anything done.

They really need to either do some real testing, planning, developing, and implementing or remove this bolster system. The system has failed for so long I think it may be say to say that it's time to put it in the dust and let people wear the gear they earned. I stopped pvping due to this stupid bolster issue already and am enjoying PVE a lot right now.

If you really think about it, it is not really an expansion. It just a really small content that has been added and basically a reset of gear. They are most likely going to release more content in the coming months, but this is just a SMALL update of things, nothing big.

I think right now I am enjoying deception too much to go back to darkness. I was mainly darkness the entire time before 2.0 for pvp and enjoyed it. I'll have to give it a try since now tanks are more useful in PVP and the darkness tree has some really sweet changes. I really like that conspirator's cloak ability to let you maul facing someone after you use recklessness and overcharge saber

I am curious to see how mercs will be. My bountyhunter has just been collecting dust every since I hit 50. Never pvp'd with him again after maybe a day of pvping and seeing how frustrating it was as others have mentioned.

I think it's fair to say that we shouldn't assume anything until we see it live on 2.0.

I am glad to see them do some patching to fix a memory leak. They are most likely doing some other minor fixes during the 7 hour window. Let them do their work. It's better for all of us. Just be patient guys. I know it's hard

It's a lost cause believing that all these constructive feedback will actually turn into some changes. In reality, that **** happens once in a lifetime if at all.

I generally just laugh and play when I know we are playing a really well geared team since I know we will loose with smash monkeys everywhere. But if the odds are even and my teammates are just trying to kill DPS while the healer is just sitting there casting heals, it pisses me off

I pretty much give and get MVP votes for actually doing useful things in a PVP match like capping nodes/fighting at a node to defend, healing players and casting interrupts/CC's, and being a good flag carrier who passes. Don't care at all about kills, death, or damage/healing done.

I've been in groups where we stomped pre-mades and where we got our asses handed to us. Generally if the pre-made has pretty geared people and has at least 2-3 healers, it's nearly impossible to beat especially if they are sorc bubble stun healing specs. Not sure if they would rage but a possible option would be to implement ranked matches where it's pre-made vs pre-made only. Then those who are in random groups may have more fun and find it less frustrating...but who knows. Nothing really works when you want it to lol
