  1. As long as you don't use it as soon as the wz starts, since everyone has all their cooldowns.. Wait a little. You'll get a lot of damage in, sure, but everyone has medpacs and healing abilities (or almost) so there's no point, plus you're most likely going to get knocked back. You'd go for berserk, gore, blast, throw (or massacre if it didnt proc, but you should make sure it has). Then when you notice someone using a stun or a knock back.. Leap, gore berserk ravage clash + VT.
  2. Ravage + gore with berserk as carnage, or doing it wrong. pvp isn't pve. if you keep getting knocked or stunned, it's not "omg ravage is wrong" it's you using it at the wrong time
  3. You can't really compare both, ravage + another ability takes your full gore gore + VT + deva blast... well you can fit in a third ability, so. massacre? Gore, dev blast, VT + massacre would most likely be the best assuming deva blast + VT both have procs + crits. deva blast does sunder target by 20%, so using it in a gore window prior to using VT increases the latter's damage. excluding that specific scenario, berserk gore ravage + dev blast is the best. You basically want to use ravage on CD, but only if you have berserk up. (and gore obv)
  4. The HIGHEST possible damage combination for a gore window would be this both relics procced, deva blast + VT procs, ravage not on CD and berserk + bloodthirst + you at full resolve on a pve geared sorc that's lagging (oh my god the dream) IDEALLY you'll want to use a deva blast before a burst window (like deva blast, then build rage blah blah blah) as it sunders target by 20%. then berserk, ravage, vicious throw + blast. or blast + vicious throw, whichever. It honestly doesn't really matter at that point. TLDR: berserk ravage + blast
  5. you NEVER want to use ravage outside of berserk + gore, it's too slow. odds are ANYONE will stun you or knock you back. try to not use it after a leap, either. the only occasion i use it outside of gore is when I'm out of ravage and really need that root to finish a kill. or when I have full resolve and can't use gore. You want to, ideally, fit 3 abilities in gore window, hence why you get some alacrity and berserk. Massacre x2 + deva blast is the most common, it's fast, instacast... Try to have berserk up whenever you have gore. You should technically have it very close to each gore if you get attacked or have a dot on you. On an ideal dummy parse, one filler goes through gore (or immediately after) like strike/battering assault so you keep you rage up. But pvp, you have extra rage, so try to avoid using fillers in your gore window. Deva blast, ravage ( WITH BERSERK), vicious throw... Vicious throw hits harder than massacre by 2k to me. The best case scenario would be berserk + relic procs, VT + gore before the saber lands + deva blast + massacre. Another tip I can give, seeing as a lot of people don't pay attention to that: you have 6 stacks of 30% alacrity, you don't NEED to wait for an ability to get off cd... Use them, fury builds really fast. Don't "wait" as carnage... BALLS DEEP FAM. I'll be on Harbinger all day if someone wants to pvp edit: yeah btw DST/VT take some time before hitting the target, it's a good idea to use one or the other, THEN GORE immediately after so you can fit a little more time in the gore window. lastly, break ravage at .2 seconds left
  6. After a lot of discussing and testing, there you go. Carnage: Accuracy: one 204 enhancement + 2 augments (5.02%) or two 208 enhancements (274, 4.99%) Alacrity: about 6%. I really like having a total of 9.89%, 2.1 ravage is sexy. Crit: honestly, anywhere from 1100 to 1500. Don't go above 40% crit. 67% surge seems to be my favorite spot Power: depends on your crit Annihilation: Accuracy: same thing. Get 5% Alacrity: at least 600 Crit: 1200. No more than 40% crit Power: the rest Rage: Accuracy: 5% Alacrity: none Crit: 1300-1500 seems perfect, I would probably go for more than the other specs, since autocrits benefit from additional surge a lot. Power: the rest
  7. There we gooooo. Yeah the roots are way more annoying as carnage, but it's the most alpha spec
  8. You want accuracy to not miss a vicious throw or a battering assault or a concentrated slice. 5% is sufficient. In all honesty I'd only get alacrity as carnage or anni (I don't play the latter). Fury already has more damage reduction, and since you'll leap more often (obliterate) alacrity doesn't have as much of an impact. Furthermore, you're missing the 3% from ataru form, which is the main reason why some extra alac is a must. As fury you have a base of 0... Tldr: no alacrity as fury. Get 5% acc. 1350 crit, then stack power
  9. Offhealing: dpsing and throwing some heals here and there Healing: focusing on heals and only heals, doing some dps sometimes when healing is unnecessary. Dpsing: doing damage. Dps spec: doing dps, some offhealing. As leth ur **** as offheals because you need all the possible gcd's for your dps Healing spec: doing healing Pls stop fishing for attention and compliments, no one good is impressed :/ just spec heals and do better than 3.3k, or spec leth and do over 3k dps. It's as dumb as going heals on a sorc and spamming force lightning
  10. I specifically chose the watchman BiS 224 gear since that's what you needed judging by the comment the previous person made about your parse, you DEFINITELY want to work on the speed at which you execute your rotation. 39 APM is very low, you want to get it to 45+! Make sure you know the rotation well enough to plan 3-4 moves ahead. I'd suggest practicing until 30%, then learn what you change in the execute phase. Also, make sure that when you parse, that you: use adrenals, have a stims, the 1.5mil dummy health debuff, and lastly the 20% armor reduction debuff
  11. 35% for carnage or rage isn't enough, you want at least 1350. 1200 for anni should be enough You want 5% acc as anni for annihilate/DST/ravage/vicious throw You want 5% acc as carn for massacre/ravage/vicious throw You want 5% acc as rage for conc slice/ravage/vicious throw There's a point where alacrity is a waste, and that's when your ravage becomes 2.24seconds on the tooltip (around 626) as, past that, you're wasting stats. You also want even more than 626 for anni.
  12. 1200 crit, 5% accuracy, then like 650 alac, rest power.
  13. Combat: bdance root, stack build, reduced stunbreak, then aoe DR + the speed thingy every 30 secs. Then the root cleanse on the speed thingy (predation equivalent) and the GBTF buff. Concentration: bdance root, stack build, cyclone slash 25% or another, then all the same ones. Or swap the aoe DR one with the 30% slow on your attacks (2nd tier) Dont play watchman
  14. Change your stats. These are optimal for anni: 1192 Critical (4xE, 6xA, 2xC) | 891 Alacrity (4xE, 3xA) | 701 Accuracy (2xE, 5xA) Edit: thats 224 tier gear.
  15. Np fam. Get just enough to get a 2.2 ravage with berserk. NO MORE. I think it's around 626. 9.89%? I forgot but yeah 2.2. 2.1 isn't worth it
  16. This. I'd even go and say it's pointless to take the rage increase in tier 1 with fury, I'd go for something else. 25% on slash? Probably that
  17. Absolutely no point in going over 105% accuracy. Waste of stat budget What server are you on? I can move a marauder and do a few games tonight if you want, we can test a few things.
  18. Yeah, it's ~620 IIRC. What I meant was you need AT LEAST enough for 2.3, which I think is around 350. What you "noticed" is a placebo effect. The alacrity is absolutely worth it if you factor in the gcd that people use to stop your ravage, 2.2 is just enough to get the last hit in. I run 626 alacrity I think, something like 104.95% accuracy. My friend who does as well as me (3-3.5k dps as carnage most games, 90% of the time over 2.5) swears by accuracy, I'm not convinced yet. She's in full 208 though, so she's not losing as much crit/power/alac by taking in the 105. I'm full 204 ;/ but yeah you really really want that 2.2.
