  1. If we could assign her tasks like scrubbing the toilets in our strongholds or maybe sorting out our DVD collection, then fine, bring her in as a companion. As a character she was worthless, all full of bluster, and had no real skills except screwing up or getting captured. Her dialogue would simply be "Opps, I got captured again", or "What does this button do" before she burned her face with her own light saber". Or "Master I dropped my lightsaber down the sewer vent by accident can you help me get it". She's a one person version of the three stooges.
  2. I had a problem where I would be playing the game and occasionally my internet would crash. I rest my network card and then updated the network card driver and I haven't had a problem since.
  3. I heard that he's coming back as a non select able companion that hangs around in your stronghold whenever your there, sitting around on a couch watching TV and eating pizza and leaving his laundry and fast food containers out all day. that way you can buy the Emperor pack on the cartel market that includes a 65 inch wall mounted TV with select able channels, a recliner couch, a vacuum cleaner that you can use, and an angry fist shcking hands on hips emote that your character can use to lecture him about being a slob /felix. Also for a few extra bucks your TV can screen sports highlights from the latest hut ball tournaments.
  4. I'm completely wired ethernet for that, I do have a wireless router, however the pc is hard wired.
  5. So I'll be playing SWTOR and it only happens when I'm playing the game. But I'll lose internet connectivity. It only happens in OR. I called my provider the first couple of times, and everything was fine on their end, they pinged my modem and could see it, but I couldn't connect to web pages. then I have to go in to my CMD adminstrator and Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter. Type netsh int ip reset and press Enter. Type ipconfig /release and press Enter. Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter. I am running windows 10, I don't have this connectivity problem except with OR.
  6. I would almost think that Vader and Palpatine would be god like compared to the Sith in the Sith Empire. Palpatine and Vader are the beneficiaries of a few thousands years of Sith Evolution, they had gathered power and knowledge that the Sith Empire didn't have. Plus Palpatine was no ordinary Sith. He probably would have made the Sith Empire turn against itself, just think of all those minor Sith's craving power, he'd be able to manipulate them easily. Technology wise, I've always liked the Stagnating Galaxy theory of the GFFA. That they had reached their technological apex thousands of years before. However I would probably bet that the GA ships were a bit faster, a bit better shielded, the computers a bit faster and the shields a bit better.
  7. Healthy diets are a lie There is only Pizza After Pizza I gain bread sticks After Bread Sticks I get funnel Cake After funnel Cake I has Cheezburger After Cheezeburger my pants won't contain me
  8. Logically we have to ask the question, which one of our loyal people would want all of the meatbags in the universe wiped out by angry robot guards?
  9. the hilarity would be with forced PVP, the crash site would be a 100 person brawl and people would be trapped there forever because every time they died and were resurrected someone would jump them to gain xp. Maybe they could leave some chairs lying around as usable weapons.
  10. To me it was a completely different story on the dark side, but from my Warriors perspective it made sense. I mean yeah I was the Emperor's Wraith and personal servant, but he basically abandoned me, and was willing to see me die. So this whole thing became my quest for power, and in my mind what I did was justifiable. Killing Senya - It was tough, but she did betray me and she stood in the way of my ultimate goal and blocked me from getting my revenge on someone who had betrayed me and tried to kill me multiple times. Yeah seeing her death was actually really well done and sad, especially when she wanted to talk to her husband one last time and sang to him. Executing Aric - I didn't have a problem with it, he disobeyed me, and that's bad for discipline and morale I respected him more for not trying to apologize. Killing Koth - I wasn't sad about that one at all. I mean his motives were probably pure in his mind, but he made a big betrayal followed by another big betrayal when I asked him for help and he basically took off again. How could I trust him not to pout and steal the Gravestone after I helped to get it back. I did like his final conversation and farewell to Lana. Killing the Supreme Chancellor - I didn't feel bad about that one, good riddance to her. She lived like a punk and died like a punk. Arcann - I admit because I played through light side before, his death was tragic, even more then Vailyn's death. He was used by his father and was made a monster by his emotions. I think his story was always about seeking acceptance and he continually failed at that. It was tough to watch him desperately reaching out to his father. But he was such a massive threat to everything. But I felt bad for him more then anyone else. Scorpio - As soon as she said that she would never bother me again, I knew she was lying, especially if she got control over a planet that's basically a supervillain hideout with a fleet. I actually did like the animation of her desperate attempt to plug in and failing. But she just couldn't be trusted. overall, because they were really well done deaths, I did feel bad for Senya and Arcann, and even Vailyn. But that whole family was always going to be a challenge to my leadership. The rest were easily justified and I as a Sith Lord wouldn't lose any sleep over them.
  11. I've changed my mind, they should totally bring her back for the next chapter. I can see it now Your character is talking to Lana, you're both worried you know the attack is coming to your super secret base and after recent events it might be a unwinnable battle. You - "We need something to even the odds, a great warrior with a lot of power" Lana - "I agree" Suddenly a shuttle lands . . . badly . . .the landing gear breaks off and it tips over on its side and bursts into flames. You both watch as Thana crawls out, stands up and brushes herself off. Thana - "I just killed 2 billion skytroopers to get here to help you pathetic weaklings win the day" She pulls out her lightsabre and holds it up in a salute. you look on in horror You - "Wait you're holding . .. " She turns it on and the blade snaps into being going through her chest, she makes a sound like a demented chicken and stumbles backwards falling off the ledge, her body plunges into the forest below" You - "Backwards" You look at Lana You "Lunch?"
  12. I really can't see any scenario where you ascend to the eternal throne and rule an empire, because it will make missions like, we need you to go and personally kill these mercenaries seem really silly.
  13. One of the best scenes that was ever done in Clone Wars by the way. I do think that it will come down to Lana and Shan at some point. I tend to think that the dark side choice is going to be taking the throne and replacing the Emperor as a oppressive leader who believes that the only way to save the galaxy is to crush the Empire and the Republic, while the light side choice is refusing the throne and basically watching a three way destructive war that will purge the galaxy. Of course I don't think that choice is going to happen until games end. But if it does, look for Shan to oppose the dark side choice, and Lana to oppose the light side choice.
  14. If Obi-Wan had been in the temple, he'd be dead. We saw some very powerful Jedi taken down by Clone Troopers in the movie, even members of the Council were mowed down. At the time of the Council attack, Anakin was far more committed to his anger and hatred then he was after his Wife ripped his bleeding heart out of his chest and crushed it under her heel which left Anakin somewhat conflicted and probably distracted. As well, I believe that it was the will of the force that the Jedi fall, they had grown so self entitled and arrogant that the universe forced a reformation on them. If Anakin and a legion of Clone Troopers had found Obi-Wan in the temple, there would have been no conflict in Anakin or hesitation because he believed that not only was he screwed by the Jedi and betrayed, but that by purging the Jedi he would gain enough power to save his wife. In the Temple he was a crusader, in the lave fields of Mustafar he wasn't.
  15. Scorpio kills Gemini as she believes he's inferior and takes over the Eternal Fleet and bolts off into hyper space. Arcane looks around with a silly oh crap grin on his face before diving into a cleverly hidden escape hatch hidden in the eternal throne and makes his escape. Next season we get a new character called a T-800 which was created by Gemini to go back in time to kill Vitiate before he becomes the Emperor.
  16. I guess for me it strange. I've been a subscriber since day one, played all 8 stories, a few of them twice using different builds, and I still play a few hours a week and get when I think is pretty good value. TBH I'm not a pvp guy, I've done flashpoints, but never things like operations, nor have a joined a guild, so the game works for me. I love the fact that they keep adding content to the game that I live, it sounds greedy, but it is what it is. In fact the only times that I play pvp is when the game demands it, ie pierce quest line, and don't get me wrong, I enjoy it, I get my kills, but I'm not great at it. As for the bugs, its also strange because I read about these bugs, but I rarely run into them. In fact the only one that bugs me is a graphical bug during cut screens in terms of helmet stetching or cape weirdness, but that might just be my graphic card to. I will also say, that I appreciate that this game is significantly different then day one when I logged in and created my Sith Warrior, and I appreciate the changes to the game. Yeah they made it a bit too easy in some cases. I remember really struggling to kill people like Baras and the Emperor and feeling a sense of accomplishment, but obviously I've become better at the mechanics of the game and when you combine it with changes to characters and NPC's maybe its a bit too easy. I was playing the latest chapter of KOTFE last night and one of the side quests was killing walkers, and as I was doing it, I remember that when I first started playing the game, I would pretty much avoid taking on champion level npc's because they would usually kick you to the moon. I don't buy a lot from the cartel market anymore, when I get my coins I'll buy a pack or two just for fun, but the days of buying 5000 cc on credit card are few and far between, I think the last time I did that was to open all the rooms in one of my strong holds. Maybe I'm the sweet spot player for Bioware, who knows, and I get that players are frustrated by slow or lack of development for more PVP type of events, and I hope for your and bioware that they make more stuff for you guys when they go on hiatus from the chapters which I understand will happen after 16 so they can bug stomp and add PVP stuff (I could have misread stuff there). But at the end of the day, if your not enjoying it, or its frustrating or aggravating then it might be time to take a break and explore other gaming options, and when you hear something you like come back. But saying that its time for Bioware to pack it in because its frustrating you ignores that there are lots of people that still really enjoy the adventures offered in the game.
  17. It was that voice or breath of the Emperor thing that was the major difficulty because it would hit for about 40k hp's, but his cast would take about 30 seconds so it was easy to interrupt. Iirc my difficult part of the fight was that he cast a bunch of copies of himself, and you had to basically ignore them and beat down the Emperor, if you decided to go after the replicons you'd lose every time.
  18. Yeah I look at the motivations of my Sith Warrior and he's all about the darkness and power, and later completing his mission. Honor really means nothing to my Warrior, its about mission, and its about personal dominance and power and the generation of fear. Mercy, those who ask for mercy don't deserve it, those who ask for some form of honorable combat or death aren't going to get it, they're going to die on my terms. Don't get me wrong, I've had mercy on people that I don't see as a future threat, or they are more useful alive then dead, either as something to be used up or sacrificed later, or as someone that can spread fear to my enemies. I would never spare a Jedi, they certainly weren't merciful or honorable when they decided to commit genocide on the Sith at the end of the first war. They're hypocrites, they talk about peace and kill and cause misery by their actions, and they're murderers and liars in the service of murderers and liars, they don't serve the Force, they serve the republic. (Of course, if I was talking about my Jedi toon this would be a whole different post )
  19. I have Arcan frozen in Carbonite, I have Vailyn dead and her mother dead after she betrays us to save her daughter. I have Scorpio stealing the eternal fleet and taking off to continue her growth, of course she returns in the next chapter at the end with an eye on exterminating the empire and the Republic and all living life forms. The Emperor returns with an expectation of taking over your body and sitting on the eternal throne, and your entire team betrays you to prevent that from happening. You get to fight them using his power and you just overwhelm him, but fight him off and you go into exile walking over the bodies of your former allies. The next chapter has you on the run from your former friends, the Empire and the republic, you are the most wanted man alive, its a chapter of survival, The Emperor weakened badly by you fighting him off on the metaphysical plane, starts eating worlds to regain his strength and its up to you the exile with new companions including a former accountant droid, a head in a bowl, two twilik twin exotic dancers and a drunken wookie who doesn't remember his name to finally and utterly destroy the Emperor in all his forms and clear your name. Oh and you are helplessly addicted to gambling, death sticks and cheap woman or men.
  20. I tend to think that the only time you would hear a true Sith Lord say it is in a sarcastic manner as he rams his saber through your chest. A more immature Sith Lord might say "If you love the Force so much why don't you marry it" then he would ram his saber through your chest.
  21. Every single time I play an Imperial Character and come across her and I become bound and determined not to kill her. And then when we get to the end together and she once again starts beaking off, I realize that she's terrible and needs to die. I think people like her because she has a pony tail. But I can't imagine her being any use in KOTFE Her confrontation wit Vailyn would be Thana - "Prepare to die like the 400 skytroopers that I killed to get here" Vailyn - "I think you have a crush on me" Thana - "No you have a crush on me, just like those 200 battledroids that I murdered on the way to end you" Vailyn - "Your shoe lace is untied" Thana looks down Vailyn - "Heads up" She cuts off Thana's head, catches it in mid air and then slam dunks it through the arms of a hovering skytrooper who's hooked his arms like a hoop.
  22. They're a reflection of a spoiled society. Remember that every whim is taken care of by droids, they've been secure from threats forever, they want for nothing. So yeah when a couple of people die in a bombing its an amazingly huge tragedy. I look at it as the first casualty in WW2 was probably hugely reported on and people knew about it and were pissed off about it, and reacted to it. By D-Day when thousands died in an hour, society was used to those losses and their reaction to the news would have been different.
  23. What is wrong with you, what a jerk move.
  24. Ditto, I'm glad that I hadn't had to do the resource gathering aspect of the quest and then got stuck.
