  1. Implying dps carries? LOL Sorry but you're playing the wrong game, dps do absolutely nothing in this game, oh look mom I'm doing the same rotation I've done for the past 6 months and not doing anything else LOL. Sorry but tanks and healers are the only guys who pull their weight in this game at all.
  2. I've been on Master D since the beginning as well, 50's in both factions, I'm 100 percent addicted to this game and play nightly. I've seen the massive fleets that used to be Master D pre Diablo 3, and I've seen the numbers dwindle down extremely. Last night, I spent the majority in PVP queue, and maybe played 4 matches? Pops every 20 mins or so, even with a couple of matches ending early, this was in prime time. I've seen and posted in multiple threads about APAC SWTOR, and there has to be a merge at least with the PVP/PVE server. Nearly every single person in Master D would give the lowbie pvp beating up for a healthy queue and constant LFG's etc. The RP folks it would be 100 percent up to them if they want to merge or not, but a transfer to US-EU server would be absolutely horrendous. Some of the top PVP'ers in Master D have noted they won't move out due to a handsome ping that no other MMO offers and it's 100 percent true, I wouldn't go back to a US server. I'm a bit of a gambling man and I'm willing to throw a bet on the fact that Bioware are waiting for f2p before merging, this would be a really bad move, cause I'm telling you now, numbers are going to get thinner and thinner before most folks would even realise. Bioware need to act on this asap.
  3. Keeping this bumped until a yellow posts tbh. in /1 on Master Dar'Nala I have honestly not seen a single person disagree with the idea of a server merge.
  4. 100 percent not rerolling. I have 7 50's, all of which are warhero/battlemaster. And a rakata minimum, with a couple campaign/blackhole. They need to server merge.
  5. Not just the time zone, the incredible ping, relinquishing this incredible service would be 100 percent disastrous
  6. I think that may be the case too. But I think this would be a horrendous decision from a business POV. They're kidding themselves if they don't think GW2 will not have it's hefty amount of unsubbers. I know multiple good guilds that are gonna be heading off Master Dar'Nala, and when this happens, Master Dar'Nala is gonna head south, and in a timely fashion, why Master? Cause predominately it's a PVP orientated servers, GW2 is what is said to be the PVP'ers game. So on top of folks unsubbing cause of GW2, it's gonna make the folks at Master Dar'Nala doomsay, and leave themselves. Me personally? I love swtor, and I'll 100 percent ride it to death, or glory. Worst case scenario of merge and f2p becomes successful? Bioware throws Master Dar'Nala back up, gg. There is really so little cons, and many pro's.
  7. I should probably apologize for this too, and I probably won't stop soon, cause I'm definately certain this is the way to go for APAC.
  8. My only issue with them having the choice? You could split the RP community in two thus with dribs and drabs coming onto the RP server then, so that in itself may cause it's own doom. I think it would have to be an all or nothing option. And a heavily moderated /rpchannel. I have absolutely no experience in a RP server but an issue that springs to mind is say for eg in a WZ. You have a premade of 4 RP'ers and a premade of 4 PVP'ers. I'm a bit of a gambling man, but eventually you'll have a situation where say the RP'ers talked in /ops with some form of RP, and the PVP'ers are like, ROFL *** IS THIS LET'S MAKE FUN OF THIS... People get ignored and that WZ goes to absolute horrible, then incites a *****torm in /1 on the fleet afterwoods. I know this comes down to trolls being trolls, but I could see things like this happening regularly. It'd be interesting to hear some RP'ers weigh on this debate imho.
  9. Oh yep XD I do remember you now. I seriously cannot see a better future for APAC SWTOR other than a merge hey. I'm not one for doomsday saying etc, cause I think this game has amazing potential and at times Master Dar'Nala is quite good, but honestly 90 percent of the time it's really not. But as far as APAC goes? It's kinda scary man.
  10. Yeah true and what not, I just honestly see it ENDLESSLY trolled. Esp. once free2play rocks up man, I know there's gonna be trolls in general ofc. But holy shi- a f2p trolling an RP server would be a massive nightmare man. Just my personal opinion, it's way too abuse-able :/ My 2 cents only ofc, and I wouldn't personally mind at all if it was an entire merge. I just can't see it working at all.
  11. I made a thread about this just a few days ago myself. 100 percent pve/pvp merge. I'd definately be okay w/ not ganking lowbies for a healthy population. But I also thought let the RP guys have their own server. This is also 100 percent out of respect for them, cause I know as sure as **** that many players from PVE/PVP would love to troll that /1 so viciously... I couldn't see it working at all :/
  12. Gonna be 100 percent honest here. You're overgeared, and hitting rage timers and not dying to mechanics, I'd be having a hard long look at your dps ( derp per second).
  13. Tbh, Some players have probably done that same flashpoint a thousand times over. I know I have like a squillion alts here and there. But here's the thing, you want to watch it ye? Find folks who like watching it, It's called an mmo for this exact reason. Find like minded people and knock yourself 100 percent out and enjoy it, I did every single time for the first, second maybe even third times I saw flashpoints etc. The three thousandth time? Not so much eh. I'm prolly just trying to get a quick daily hm fp in
  14. 100 Percent agreed about the RP server, you put it fairly blunt, but it's true. But yeah, I really think this would be the best possible option for APAC SWTOR.
  15. Hi folks, Essentially, posting about the current population situation with mainly Master Dar'Nala servers. I know f2p is around the corner, and that may boost population and what not. But I'm sitting here at 10 pm, on a saturday night, and 60 people on the fleet, imperial fleet this is as well, and nobody is looking for anything etc, Q's are taking quite a while. There's not really a healthy scene here at all atm. Which sucks 1000 balls cause I'm possibly the biggest fan of this video game. With the inevitable GW2 release, there's gonna be quite a number of people leaving, I for one know multiple guilds that are going, I'm quite genuinely worried that this server is going ghost town real soon, and real fast. Now I'm pretty certain that the PVE server, Dalborra has a little bit going for it population wise, but still not amazing as far as I know, so it could be great for the two servers to merge. I think it's time to merge, and time to merge fast. My question to Master Dar'Nala is, would you guys think it's time to merge to the PVE servers? Really, the only thing we'd be sacrificing is the occasional gank fest and really, not much else :/ And my question to Dalborra, do you guys likewise think this would be a good idea? Thoughts/opinions?
  16. Not entirely sure if this has been said. But the two imperial NPCs on Nar Sharda in the promenade talking about the evocii One of them notes that what the first one said was cruel, the other replies; "You haven't seen one yet have you. Fifty credits says you end up shoving it in a gutter. And laughing" I *********** ROFL'd at this, speshally the way he says "And laughing" at the end
  17. Man, I'm honestly not sure where the problem with threat is. Against a single target boss, no tank, and I mean no tank should have troubles holding any form of agro past the 10 percent mark. Soz but if you're dropping agro, your rotations/reactions/refusingtolearntouseyourkeyboardinsteadofclicking/chromosomeissues/etc you're not doing it right. AOE Juggs/Guardians do face a bit of a problem with their AOE tbh not worth the rage costs. Other than that, I think they should keep it as is, it doesn't need a buff or a nerf unless you're a jugg or guardian.
  18. QFT, rage specs domming is no question in the matter. Tbh, I'm a veng spec Jugg. And rage juggs is THE best spec. Sorry fanboys of veng, I like its playstyle also. But as far as white dmg goes, it's not that far behind, and anything yellow is substantially higher.
  19. Hi folks, This may be a wall of text here, but stay with me here. This is a message intended for Bioware Regarding SWTOR and the health of servers, I'm on an oceanic server were the population is quite dense, and even on week nights there is two instances of the fleet at most times. On this server, you will most likely see a nice healthy trade chat, banter, or something else to fill the lines here. Most of the chat and the feeling of the server is not negative at all, we have constant WZ pops and many pugs LFG etc. I follow the forums but rarely post, because it is mostly negative comments, and as negative as they are, they're true. So many different servers, all having low population on the fleet, prime time their fleets are weak, and WZ's and LFGS are few and far between in some cases. Now here's the thing. I am a massive fan of this game in many of it's aspects and I think it has potential to keep on going IF Bioware do something about it. I own a successful business, and whenever I don't play SWTOR, I'm generally hard at work as I've done for all my adult life. If there is one thing I've learnt from business that can apply to gaming in this case it is the following; When you see something that is a mistake, you don't waste your time to fix it or to dodge it, ignore it etc. You do the exact opposite, and you say, hey listen, I made a mistake here, and I'll do my very best to rectify this problem. A few days later, you'll see this exact same customer in your store, spending money again. This is a lesson that's learned to me over and over. I have many customers, and many tasks to do and it's sometimes easy to make a mistake. I make mistakes at my work, but I go out of my way to rectify the situation and your customers WILL stay happy, and they will return to your store (or in this case subscribe). Basically, Bioware, if you take this lesson to heart, you may just notice less decrease in your subs, due to your inability to admit you made a mistake, and you put up far too many servers, and have not yet condensed server population to what it should be. Fixing your mistakes should ALWAYS be a top priority, if not the highest on your agenda. I have full confidence that Bioware has the tools, and resources to pull together and make this community thrive again, as opposed to all the negativity that you'll see around these parts. Regards, Fan of SWTOR
