I'll need someone to check with me on this, but with the 2.0 changes I feel like the crit returns from main stat are a moot point whereas crit rating itself is still worth getting up to a some point. Just not as much as before.

HSP is the standard for PvE progression.

I ran a temp check and the machine is running within temperature bounds, but I'm still feeling the burning through the keys, so I'm guessing it has something to do with the insulation, or thermal pasting. I'm returning the laptop tomorrow and having a replacement sent out.

Cooling pad kept the bottom of the retina macbook cool, but didn't stop the keys from burning up. I'm a little further out from an apple store, so I called tech support this morning and left a ticket.

It may indeed be malfunctioning but can't be sure until someone with a retina macbook pro clarifies!

It runs the game like a champ. But roasts my fingers. Still looking for someone who plays this on a rMBP.

I tried bootcamp first, and the machine literally gets too hot for my fingers to use. I now have it open in parallels, and it's not nearly as hot, but still a little warm and has worse performance.

Got it. Thanks. I ran a temperature check while in bootcamp windows during gaming and saw all 4 cores running at 90 plus celsius. This would be normal except...my fingers burn. Will check it out!

How long ago was this? Did you bootcamp or parallel? And how did they determine it's defective? Thanks for your response!

I just started playing this game on my new rMBP and noticed it gets so hot that my fingers cannot even type on the keyboard while playing because the machine gets so hot. I was wondering if anyone else was having the same issue.

With that line of thinking they should just hand out War Hero and Campaign stuff for cheap too. 'Pointless grinding', right?

Given they cost 4.5 mil, Bioware had intended Rocket Boots to be an exclusive item. Bio is basically telling the rest of us that we don't care you spent the time/effort to grind credits to begin with. I understand the 'getting it instantly' sentiment, but at the very least, make them worth a fair amount of coins so that the rest of us don't feel so 'jipped' and that they remain an exclusive item...per Bioware's original intention.

It's the little things like this that make me feel like BioWare doesn't invest the thought they should in the game. You made people who wanted them grind through 4.5 million credits to have all three tiers...yet you're basically em out in the cartel store. It makes zero sense, from a logic, and business perspective. If you're looking to make money, charge more coins for rocket boots, that way people will have to spend more... And logically, why the disparity? Looking for some sense from you, Devs.

George Lucas is an artist. He has no obligation to answer to you. He really doesn't. He created the Star Wars universe, and he could do with it as he pleases. Who are you to feel so entitled? You don't like the first 3 movies, fine don't watch it. It really is that simple. If YOU had some sort of say in the making of the Star Wars universe, then sure you can cry and moan about what it has become. But fact is, you're really just a nobody compared to what Lucas has done. Troll me all you want, but he is an artist, an innovator, and as one, he does not have to answer to you, or anyone else really.
