The problem with Ebonhawk PvP in a nutshell. "Why aren't premades carrying me? Game broken unsub/3 year retroactively cancelling preorder/ leaving for PvP server" etc.

Yeah, because PvP is totally 8 or 4 1v1s.

I easily do more damage and die less on both my assassin and juggernaut. I have more CC immunity in both and the dots I spread actually do more than tickle and they are monumentally easier to spread. In anni I have to get my 6 second dot on them, rush into a cluster with no CC immunity and get off a 5m radius attack. On my sin I throw two dots on from range and spread it to half the team with a 10m radius attack. On my juggernaut I jump in with immunity and spread it with a no rage attack that does more damage than smash. They simply don't know what to do with this class. They're oddly afraid to make it overpowered while throwing massive buffs to other classes like its nothing.

They're certainly enjoyable. I've been playing mine since December 20th (early release launch date). It isn't the best in PvP right now, but you can top damage numbers in each spec given the right circumstances. Most of the anger here is over Annihilation/Watchman and the changes Bioware has made. To a new player, it won't really matter as you didn't witness "the glory days" the people here weep for (fraudulently in my book). It also isn't as hard to level as it used to be given the changes in damage they've made. I'm leveling a marauder now for kicks and am melting lowbie pvp and questing. Generally speaking, don't ask the forums for advice as you'll get thrown into some forum debate that has little relevance to your concerns.

That's fraudulent. Something they did completely unbalanced PvP damage. I'm routinely getting hit for 11-15k which hasn't happened ever in any PvP I've played which is a lot both ranked and unranked. I also play sorc, so they've either messed up bolster with their low level change or botched sorc mitigation in some way. Getting hit for 15k is absurd. I have a screenshot of a kill message denoting a 15k railshot. PvP was actually ok for a long period of time there in terms of balance. No longer.

Hm, it's kind of hard to help you here as I have had no trouble leveling as a pyro merc. It's really one of the easier classes to level for me given the amount of AOE we get measured with the amount of single target we can do in either pyro or arsenal.

I've been playing since December 20th (pre-release launch day) and I never do heroics. I do raids, endgame flashpoints, etc, but I just solo'd or didn't do heroics. I don't feel like I'm unique here. Do group content in endgame, this is standard MMO fair.

I don't know, maybe I'm used to other companies. SWTOR's team is more open than most, and who in the hell would bring down a community event with talking about some technical problem experienced by a minority (even a large one) of the community. This is just a standard case of people justifying their burn out with some perceived slight or another.

L2P moment. I have crap gear and leveled to 60 with Jaesa as annihilation. I died like 3 times maybe and you don't even get the self heals until 36 now.

I know marauders aren't very good right now but some of the QQing on the forums is simply wrong. Slows are not a problem for marauder. Annihilation has two roots (charge, second low slash), three slows (rend, charge, low slash) and a ranged stun (choke). The problem is we lack the cooldowns/CC immunity of every other melee. And lord knows and as this forum shows, CCs are really important to TOR pvp. Still I'm enjoying not being the flavor of the month, tbh. Once they "fix" us we'll see all the PvP guild marauders come back.

The Sith Warrior story was total garbage but what can you do. What they did with the Warrior is baffling to me. The second most played class they turned into an utter stooge.

Sorc was before the patch the easiest to get high numbers on. Can any class get 2 million? Yes. Is it -way- easier for sorcs to get up there? Yes. Ergo, unbalance. I would easily get 1 million in pre-50 before 3.0 (in the longer maps, voidstar/huttball), and it's simply gotten worse now.

The whole story is pretty lousy, to be honest. It's executed with some skill, but the whole "we don't have enough developers to do two stories so here's one really awkward forced one" gets old fast. My character would never in a million years ally themselves with the republic. What's more, somehow the revanites are politically more powerful than the Emperor's Wrath and a Dark Council member. The whole "we have to go underground" thing is contrived. It's the inherent problem that's been around from the beginning. With no actually impactful choices, the game loses coherency quickly as all lore-related plot material gets thrown in the trash for themepark rides with absolutely zero autonomy.

Stop. Victim. Blaming. Once more for empahsis: Stop. Victim. Blaming. PV stroking itself is better than this. It's surely the mom's fault some crotch-scratching, fedora-wearing, group of neckbeards kills people over and over for very little gain and then demands credits even after it became clear (through dialogue) that this person did not understand what was occurring.

All of Ebon Hawk should be saddened by this. As should all these low-lifes claiming its "his fault" or whatever. Kill someone a few times, and move on. That is PvP with a gosh darn conscience. Demanding a ransom from someone is ridiculous and pathetic. Stop victim blaming.

If you watch the 2.7 cut scenes you can see more anti-Empire **** coming down the pipes from a mile away. The Emperor makes no sense to me. Palpatine was the most powerful sith arguably ever, and he didn't want to literally destroy all life. They give you no room to side with the emperor, and ultimately leave the Empire Side simply a deformed Republic. It's just lazy story writing. Emperor = Objective Bad, Everyone Else = Maybe disagree, but have to unite to face this evil! smileyface Sooo stupid.

He's dead. You can just straight up kill him now in the flashpoint. They left the door open to themselves, but then closed it. The Emperor and the Emperor's Children, on the other hand...for a future and soon update ;P

We had a Novarre coast tonight in mid bracket where the first 5-10 minutes of it was our team getting absolutely destroyed. We somehow managed to grab two nodes, and hold them for the 8 to 0 win. Great game to everyone. That was pretty much like the 69 New York Mets beating the 27 Yankees. Me being the idiot I am, said that the game was over at 100 to 27 (or thereabouts) in chat. Being wrong isn't usually that cool, in any case.

It should've been suggested that I realize that's nearly 1000 years away at this point. I was inquiring whether or not they'll just get rid of Darth Ruin or make one of us him, or something. His character is so loosely described and of marginal importance, and as I said, given the willingness of creators to basically totally rewrite Star Wars history of late, it wouldn't be that much of a jump.
