  1. Query: Master, what purpose does this strange vibrating device serve? HK... what were you doing in my room? Statement: Kaliyo left the door open. KALIYO WHY WERE YOU IN MY ROOM?!
  2. It's a bit convoluted, but the way I do it is, Ask Mr. Robot has a character creator, and that has a datacron tab. Also, all the datacrons you pick up have an associated Lore Entries. Now, on the datacron tab, you can sort by Lore, and enter the ones you already have, that way you can see which datacrons you have, what they gave you, and what planet they were on.
  3. If only we could get some programmers together, and make our own MMO, with blackjack and ******s! Or, you know, better gender representation and SGR content. We could even really regret not having straight-m!PC OGR options and then sit on producing the relevant content for three years. Hell, with the EU being washed away as non-canon, we could even make a Star Wars one, just not a "canon" one
  4. Drive up there and volunteer. Bring pictures of their reactions when you try to explain what a "same-gender romance" is - it'll blow their minds that not everyone's straight.
  5. And we can't buy the expansion with Cartel Coins because you get a stipend of CC for a) having a subscription and b) having a security key. In essence, a CC transaction is liable to make the expansion "free" in a way that is unacceptable to the accounting, as CC is not a real money.
  6. Whether it's good or not, it's soured by the fact that any NPC I meet is going to be meaningless in the long run, as I am likely to never see them again after two conversations. There's no hope of continued contact, whether verbal or physical - the knowledge that Bioware are giving up on making anything more permanent than a mayfly makes the entire thing very shallow. On that note: If it weren't for the early development decision to have Companions, the men would have been promoted and the women fridged before the end of Chapter 2.
  7. ****'s sake. I bet none of those [Flirt] lines end in physical contact either. Well, at least I've got the new Discipline system and end-game to think about. Dunno bout the rest of you, but from now on it might be better if I treat this game like WoW: no meaningful story, no interesting characters, head down run the content.
  8. Yeah, I can't really see my Agent romancing Lokin - largely because Lokin's very much like a mentor figure (and I don't have daddy issues and neither does my Agent.)
  9. Yes, at one point I really wanted to shoot Kaliyo, and was quite unhappy when I couldn't. Blasted beta testers whining about everything
  10. Hope springs eternal. I still want Vector for my Agent, but I'd definitely be put off by having Mako or DS!Jaesa for my either my Merc/PT and Jugg. ((I say that because lot of the m!PC and f!Companion romances have a kinda skeevy power imbalance thing going on, where the f!Companion is of a lower military rank, or is in a student role, to the m!PC. Obvious and immediate exceptions (might be) Jorgan, who has experience on you as a Trooper but is still your subordinate, and Kaliyo for the Agent, because she always acts as your equal, and is presented as such.))
  11. Do we have an official drinking game yet? To we take a sip every time someone says "slap in the face" or is it a shot? On that note, who was sent to hospital recently for alcohol poisoning because of the forums? To the OP: these were never special. They came out in, like, 1.2. They were fun back then to show off, and now they're old hat. I'm surprised you're not complaining that black-cores are craftable and that +31 pink crystals are no longer elite. Also, I have those legacy emotes, and I got them hard way. Don't speak for me and tell Bioware to ruin other people's gaming experiences because you're a selfish child.
  12. Considering their utter lack of communication on the subject or acknowledgement of having done anything, it's hard to say. I wouldn't be surprised if they feel that way, though, and don't express it publicly for PR reasons.
  13. This^ I play "sole" tree builds because they're generally more effective at what they're supposed to (DPS, Heals, Tank) than the alternative - I like being effective because I don't enjoy failure. That's not to say that hybrid=auto fail, but in group content (which I enjoy) being the most effective I can be before player error and equipment failure (I was looking at cakes or lag) is what I think is best. Also, in solo content, I like stabbing things. Concealment is all stabby. Stabby stab. That's why I'm not "bummed" about the removal of hybrids, but just saying "group content isn't everything" doesn't really explain why a player likes hybrids, or why hybrids might preferable to "sole" trees, particularly when so much gets moved up the tree because of balance. I get that some people are angry that these changes are getting rid of hybrids, but I don't understand why people liked hybrids in the first place. How is the gameplay of them so significantly different - or personally better - than "sole" tree builds?
  14. Sorry, I've been in this for... a while. Having followed David Gaider on his tumblr account for many moons now, the difference between Austin and Euston are pretty stark. So, apologies if that seemed to blow up (and to be fair, it did at the end there), but a lot of us are very fatigued with Austin's apparent attempts at stuff, when in reality they're accomplishing less than what's been on the market for years now, and they're calling that "progress". They're dragging their feet, they know they're dragging their feet, and yet they have the audacity to say "well, you should be grateful". If they can't do companion SGRAs with existing companions, come out and say that. They've said "sorry, no can do because magical client problems" for every other request, ranging from more than 25 quests to gender changes, but they can't say it for us? They don't care. Or, rather, they don't care as much for this content as they do for the rest of the game. Hell, they care more about PvP! Who PvPs*? *I hate PvP, this is a joke.
  15. Actually in one of the previous Livestreams it was said that Theron Shan won't ever be a companion as it doesn't "suit" his character. This was linked both in the Theron Shan and Lana Beniko thread, as well as here, by Darth_Wicked and myself respectively. So, actually, we have rather significant grounds for saying that - at the least - Bioware don't care about SGRA content with companions. They'll give us half-arsed [Flirt]s which will never be realised (Lord Cytharat was written by Alexander Freed, who left Bioware well over a year and a half ago now, and not by any of the two current writers on staff, Hall Hood and Charles Boyd, before you try mentioning Lord Cytharat to me. Remember that Makeb was written and designed largely at the same time as the main game and finalised later, whereas the Revan-stuff we've got coming up now is entirely new content made after the launch of the game, and likely has little input from Freed (with possibly exception to the apparent Agent story content coming) or anyone else, for that matter) because gay-man kisses might make the straight-guy audience uncomfortable and this Bioware doesn't have a David Gaider to roflstomp their whining. Remember when the DA:I romances were announced, and everyone got two? Well, the straight guys cried that because they got two and everyone else also got two, Bioware was favouring the LGBT community, because **** equality, yeah?
  16. It's good that some of us remain optimistic. I'm just pestering Musco out of habit now.
  17. I like the idea of being able to cast Innervate while moving. The lack of mobility versus the Merc and Operative is why I benched my Sorc during this round of Operations - I just didn't like being stuck in place (or feeling like I'm stuck, I get that's a L2P issue, shut up.) As for the rest of it... eh, wait and see. The whole cascade of people screaming that the game is dying and everything is horrible and waah waah waah is getting on my nerves.
  18. It's probably going to be a rehash of Makeb. One kiss and *poof* dead despite you saving their life. Bioware: Austin loves their Bury the Gays trope, that's for sure.

  20. I've asked Musco a couple of times and he's answered **** all, so we're going to have to wait for Dulfy to talk us once the beta's NDA drops. But I'm guessing you're correct in that we'll have lots of male-gazey lesbian action and confused mumbling about gay men. Both writers are straight dudes, after all. On the plus side, though, Alexander Freed is in email correspondence regarding Hunter and gender identity, with tumblr user: transgamerthoughts. So that's neat.
  21. The community team don't do server maintenance. Also, that livestream was last week. You're a little late.
  22. (Emphasis mine) These should probably be addressed by Bioware, and frankly I assumed that the new Discipline system would allow them to implment the above.
