I've recently re-rolled here from Master D after being away for several months. I wasn't really worried about the latency because it's still about 80ms lower than what I would get on "that other" MMO. It is noticable in PVP but only if your trying to notice it lol, I haven't really had any problems, same for PVE, not having any issues to be honest. I came here for the population because Master D is just stupidly dead and still no word on server merges or transfers, sucks when all your geared 50's are there.

Thanks for the info guys, I remember you stevoo, seems you are one of the people keeping this server together from all your forum action I see. I was in thier ops team playing an assassin tank, Iggie. Everyone I played with seems to have gone however, hence the post. May have to jump guilds! Man, this guy is dumb as ****, how do you not understand what DimeStax is trying to say? People are capable of enjoying more than one game, HOWEVER people will tend to spend more time on the one they enjoy the most, whether there is a subscription fee or not. Don't want to pay a subscription fee because you only have several hours a week? then don't pay a *********** subscription fee.

^ This guys get it...... Why oh why do people waste their time speculating on the future of a 7 month old game. Play it, enjoy it, or ****. Job losses, lack of Q&A (which there isn't), lack of content (which there hasn't been), just stop asking yourself and play what's already out. Are you apart of EA or Bioware? No, so why ask these questions if your only going to provide an answer that suites you the most.

People expect too much from games these days, does everybody here believe that Devs are supposed to be absolute wizards at every class or mechanic they design? Or that there is truly balance amongst so many play styles? If a class is designed to behave a certain way, such as "lone-wolf", then that's how it's supposed to be played, don't QQ your hats off because it doesn't play the way you want it to. The way people talk about class balance on the forums makes me believe that they think there is this magical chart that was designed during the allignment of the plants in which an equilibrium is created amongst all classes resulting in universal happiness for everyone. Sadly, not the case, "balance" is letting each class have an edge over someone else, otherwise where would the fun be. In the case of Deception, sustained pve dps may be low, but it's not going to sink your boat. I play PVE as a Darkness Assassin (yea tell me how OP I am, or how bad Darkness tanks are, two contradicting arguments there floating all over the forums), we have a Deception in our ops group (8 man) and I never hear anyone complaing about his low or lack off dps, not even him, I guess he just enjoys it. In the case of PVP, well, I won't even bother, because according to everyone in pvp something is always overpowered or to weak, the complaints are never ending.

Raul'Creed - Juggernaut

Well, last night we did 3/4 HM EC (two guild firsts), short a tank so I jumped on my Assassin alt, recent Assassin alt that is, in all Columi, and 2 BH implants, and tanked 3/4 HM EC......and we are going back on monday night to attempt Kephiss. Our other tank was an Assassin, mostly Rakata/BH but 0 Campaign, infact in our 8 man group there was only 2 dps with maybe 1 or 2 peices of Campaign gear, Marauder and Juggernaut. So if I was able to tank that in such low gear, after the "nerfs", and my healers were able to keep me alive, both of which were half rakata/columi, then what does that say? I now have quite an unusual spread of gear, 4/5 columi....with 2 peices of Campaign, absent any Rakata. I consider myself a bare mortal, people like you, and half the people in this thread, are blowing these nerfs and gear requirements out of proportion.

I understand that shutdowns/maintenance/hotfixes and all have to happen, lets you know that things are being fixed and taken care of, also after a patch it's highly expected. However, to finish work at 5pm, and look forward to playing with guildies and RL friends for the night, only to get shafted 3 nights in one week by downtime, is nothing but frustrating. WoW was like this aswell for oceanic players, prime time for us it downtime for the majority across the world, sigh. Obviously I'm not as bothered as the OP, but still....

Why is there so much qq over this when 1.3 is afew hours away?

It wouldn't make sense using a blaster rifle.... Why would you want a two handed weapon when most of your attacks are from devices on your one of your arms (flame thrower, railgun, various missile attacks). As for mercs, it makes perfect sense using two pistols, again, not to mention that your missile attacks come from one of your arms. From a roleplaying/story point of view, you would definitely have more versatility using two pistols then one chunky two-hander. I would much rather use one pistol in one hand and have my other arm dish out fire and rail shots. As for animations, they flow well and make much more sense with the spare arm. (powertech point of view) The BH isn't just about the guns, it's about your equipment/gear and what it does.

The guy above is wrong, you can make armor for all BH companions with armormech, minus the ship droid (but **** him). Last companion looks like he would use strength but he actually uses aim. First two companions use cunning but the medium armor you make is cunning armor anyway. I was quite joyous after discovering this, because I initially picked armormech just for myself. *edit* Armormech doesn't suck, what makes you say that? Armormech recipes from 50 ops are handy, and now you can make augments, not to mention the self/companion benefits during leveling.

clickers gonna click, haters gonna hate. I enjoyed it man, good work for a first vid, I wouldn't call you a clicker lol. I don't understand players that express superiority in saying that they don't click, it comes down to "I can use all my abilities with one hand, not two", who gives a ****, I click half my **** and still know enough about my class and others to know that I'm doing good. Makes no difference regardless, whatever works for people.

Apparently I'm married to both of them.... I was at the "big question" stage of the story with Vette... So after thinking it over, I went with Vette (she's such a happy sunflower), did the deed, had fun times and noticed that I could still have the exact same convo with Jaesa about what I mentioned earlier... I received mail from both of them, referring to me as husband, and havn't seen anything otherwise mentioning that I ended it with Vette. I did this when I had 10k/10k affection with both of them.

female smuggler is great, sounding annoying is part of the role if you think about it, almost all her lines are sarcastic and boastful, not to mention the fact that all she wants is credits, from anything, I think its great, if someone spoke to you like that I'm sure you would find them annoying aswell. I also play a male SW and yea, his voice is as someone mentioned earlier, deadly, smooth and heartless, even if your going lightside hah. Vette counteracts it perfectly with her chirpy personality. /voice wins in this game.
