  1. Haha, wait what, the only penalty for leaving a warzone is that it counts as a loss? Who cares, typically you're only going to leave warzones when the loss is all but written in stone and deigned by the elder gods, and the other team is farming you. I am absolutely fine with that, at this point I only PvP for the awful daily, if I'm going to lose anyway, I'd rather get that L on expedited delivery so I can finish it even a few minutes quicker and do something else. Who knows, maybe my leaving will get TOR Jesus on my ex-team to rally those derps together for a miraculous win.
  2. I feel like this is akin to chopping off the arm for a broken finger. Why do people leave warzones? There are a myriad of reasons, I believe the key one though is people are trying to get their daily completed, and then move on to bigger and better things. Because Bioware severely lacks foresight, we have the 3 wins = quest completed requirement. Many people are task-oriented players, so if the objective is to attain these three wins, the shortest path is often the quickest one, ergo if the boat starts to sink, they abandon ship, even if perhaps it has the potential to remain afloat. Speaking personally, I do not mind losing to a better team, and will fight to the bitter end, but if we're being farmed for medals, I see that as a sign of an utter lack of sportsmanship, and I feel entitled to reciprocate that disrespect by either leaving, or finding a quiet spot to stealth away from the enemy. Your little premade team won't be getting a single extra commendation from me if you can't end a horrendously mismatched battle promptly. Punishing people for leaving will only cause more frustration, when the system itself is in need of an overhaul. The less empathetic amongst us may say good riddance, but with all the complaints over longer queue times, you would think they would be more receptive to dissenting opinions of other PvPers. I heard the quest bag system is being revamped, I don't know in what way, but that's the real issue here, deserting matches is merely a symptom.
  3. I never quit PvP, even when my team is getting utterly eviscerated, as any of my non-50 characters. Even with a loss, I get some commendations, valor, experience points, and credits. Can't complain. With a 50, though? Haha, no thanks, I have better ways to allocate my time. The commendations are negligible, since I need quite a few to get my super awesome Bag of Nothing, the valor is not an issue, experience points are obviously pointless, the legacy points are moot at the moment, and I can make it rain credits whenever I damn well please. Bioware has no one to blame but themselves for this gaffe. If I'm PvPing on a 50, it's just to get my three daily wins completed, so I can experience apathetic disappointment when I open my daily bag. If I'm five minutes into Derpball, and my team is already down by three, it's time to find greener pastures, because the daily doesn't care about how much of a team player you were, or how you stuck it out to the bitter end, the only thing it cares about is that VICTORY sign when the match is done. Everything else is utterly irrelevant, and until they realize this painfully simple fact, people will continue to abandon one sided matches. I would be totally on board with the "Play Three Matches" idea someone had, because even if I was getting farmed, I would obstinately stick to every single game, as I want to complete the quest objective
