  1. Were you in that match, too? Lol...some ******* did exactly that, but was banned 45 min later.
  2. None of those hold a candle to Creature Handlers in SWG, when they could have 4 rancors out at a time. Add in Imp CHs and you could have up to 3 AT-ST out wththose 4 rancors, then consider that a Master CH could still master another skill ontopof all that...yeah,dont think anything has been so over the top ridiculous since then.
  3. Battle Meditation goes all the way back to Zawn's Thrawn trilogy books, well before Kotor. At least thats where I first saw it.

    Hackers !!!

Yep. I have a strange feeling tho if there was a massive outcry about this, they would find a loophole to deal with it, or create one. But since there isnt, theyre more than happy to collect the sub money.

    Hackers !!!

He trick is to find the main toon controlling the others and kill/cc it, so the others have no one to assist.

    Hackers !!!

And not to mention, paying for all those accounts. The main reason its tolerated.
  7. All i know is the last patch on Feb 2 really messed things up on my end. FPS dropped by 10 o. The fleet and wzs where it was barely tolerable to begin with, and the combat delay is worse than ever. This after 1.1 made thimgs loads better, but i dont see anyone complaining about the last patch so i dont get it.

Multiboxing. This is legal, even in WoW.

Keep reporting, or did I just get lucky?

    Hackers !!!

yep, definitely report them. Like I said, at least 2 people were banned last night on my server within 45 minutes of m reporting them. Tho i dont know how long they were doing it before I showed up.

    Hackers !!!

Not to mention apathy from the teammates of the *********** cheater who are playing fair but tolerate it because it benefits them. Saw this happen last night, the offenders were banned pretty fast but the attitude of the honest teammates was appalling...oh well, deal with it was pretty much their attitude. ThEy deserve 1 week bans if it were up to me.

    Hackers !!!

Keep an optimistic eye out because last night I got 2 people banned (well me and everyone els who reported) for speed hacking. Came into a huttball match and there was already someone running around with the ball before the match even started, who then scored right before the gates opened, then proceeded to to score 4 more times by *flying* from midfield to the endzone in 1 second. Both him, and his buddy who was defending him (that happened to threaten to report me for harrassment) were both gone 45 minutes later. And no, BW never answered my ticket either, they just banned their asses.
  13. Get it thru YOUR skull, the last 10 days in December are not 'a little over a month'...that was the exact wording when it came to subs and box sales, and your are totally full of it. On Dec 31, subs prtetty much matched box sales, anyone who unsubbed beforethat time still had an active sub. Its unbelievable how *********** fail people are about understanding simple clear English.
  14. Thats the problem with city planet maps, of which I include Taris...not much you can do about it, they are part of the lore. I do want to see more open maps like Hoth..even Alderaan was fairly open, you could go just about anywhere inside a zone. Also, not every WoW map is 'way way way more open'...I mentioned 4 and can easily mntion more.
  15. I LOLd. Its true. The game is also trying to decode the human genome and crack state of the art encryption for the NSA while you watch loading screens. Seriously, why does it take so friggin long?
  16. Maybe so, but loading screens on WoW go very fast. Loading screens on Swtor take forever. Why does it ha e to be that way?
  17. Well if you think about it, WoW maps arent much different...they are jst able to maintain the illusion of wide openness because of the ability to fly, the flight point system that can take you anywhere on a continent, and the fact that their mainly using one planet, so they dont have all the divisions (read loading screens) that swtor has. Caee in point, to go from Badlands to Searing Gorge, there is only one path on land to get there. To go from Searing Gorge to Burning Steppes, again only one more path...and then from Burning Steppes to Redridge, 2 paths only. On Swtor, this whole area would compromise one planet, with 4 zones. On Swtor, this is criticised for being too unopen, but no one ever complained about that on WoW...because they maintain the illusion due to the above...but yet, the maps arent really that different. That being said, there is definite room for improvement. I prefer wide open myself...look at SWG planet maps...now Those were wide open.
  18. Very imformative post, thanks. I enjoyd reading those links and it makes alot of sense.
  19. They are flailing away because its still too early and the talking points memos are still being worked on after yesterdays huge setback for the haters. However, they'll be back...and in greater numbers.
  20. WoW has 17 million subs? Thats pretty funny since Cataclysm sold 3 million copies worldwide.
  21. Oh, not this crap again. L2read yourself, the numbers were specifically referenced at over one month from release. Dec 21 to Dec 31 is not over a month from release. You fail.
  22. Damn good post. I was just reading the 65 pg thread from earlier today and 10+ pages went by with people actually were arguing these numbers weren't current. Made my head hurt. However, there seemed to be quite a few people saying the numbers were only good up to December 31. The problem with their argument and where it gets shot down is, the wordage used when saying 2 million sold/1.7 million active was actually 'a little over 1 month'...Now, does 'a little over 1 month' correspond the last 10 days in December, or the time period from Dec 21 to Feb 1? Shockingly enough, there were at least a few in the former camp. Sad.
  23. Why are you making up numbers? It's 2 million sold and 1.7 million current, not 2.2 million. Maybe 500k did quit but were replaced by 200k new customers...we don't know. What we do know is 85% retention after 1 month is pretty damn good. The Doom and Gloom crowd were saying a month ago this wouldn't be happening. Where are they now?
  24. That's pretty catchy, I like it! As for the numbers, it's just a month, but at least they are very good so far. Very good. Can't predict future success just yet, but the f2p in a month crowd sure made for some good laughs today.
