  1. I seriously crafted and reverse engineered over 100 blue lvl 49 heavy armor bracers hoping to get a decent next tier recipe, and I got nothing. No epic recipe.

Must have done about 40 underworld trading epic missions (340 skill ones from slicing) to get the blue mats to craft all of that, plus a ton of salvaged mats and npc sold mats.

Total waste of time and money, the reverse engineer chance on some crafts is way too low. For instance, my biochem character very easily got the epic lvl 48 reusable medpac recipe.

  2. I accused you of a poor rotation. L2RememberWhoSaidWhat

You said you weren't killing mobs before they hit enrage, then said that you had Champion PVP gear. The logical conclusion to those 2 statements is that you're a DPS.

The guy said i might be wearing level 40 greens, so I said I have champion gear. You L2read again.

  3. *Sigh* and now we enter the PvP gear vs. PvE gear issue I've seen way to often. IF you're wearing full PvP gear and attempting a hard mode operation, that's your problem right there. Especially if the rest of your raiders are doing the same thing. Run the others in normal mode till you can replace that PvP gear. (The expertise stat does NOTHING for PvE content whatsoever). Not sure why people think high level PvP gear will hold them through hard raids.

*edit* Oh those other stats like power, surge etc, are actually better on the raid PvE gear than your PvP gear.

Have you even seen the stats on end game pvp and pve gear? They are virtually identical. PVE gear has a tiny bit more to your primary stat and endurance, whereas pvp gear has the pvp stat.

A tiny bit less endurance and aim isn't going to make it suddenly undoable.

Also, champion pvp gear is massively better than normal 50 instance gear. Learn the game before you post like you do.

  4. Yep, better dps. We had last boss of BT at 10% before she enraged, but our tank popped all his CDs and we downed her. Some of the fights are somewhat prohibitive on DPS requirements, but are mostly doable. If you're jumping into hard modes right at 50 while wearing level 40 greens, you're going to have a problem. Run BoI/FE a couple of times to gear up, get some craftables, and go back later.

I'm wearing practically a full set of champion pvp gear.

  5. Poor you. But that's the cost of real randomization. Sometimes you can get unlucky for ages. I got one green quality lvl 17 item RE about 80 times in attempt to get Redoubt version of it. No success. I finally gave up.

But that's part of crafting excitement :)

Game isn't crafting. :) Try to look at it from other perspective. Perhaps next time you'll get two different purples in a row :)

But aiming at very specific stats set is very difficult, that's true, and IMO: it should be that way.

When you find out how easy it is to get champion pvp gear you'll disagree. I have a full set already, except one implant. Honestly, i started doing this before I got all the champion gear, and i wonder why i even still bother with the knowledge that even if I do get success, it will all be meaingless now anyway.

The champion gear is better than anything you can craft, even perfect stat reverse engineered purple gear.

  6. Its going to be awesome where all these people say they are quitting.

Maybe we can has better community when they are gone?

    Jan 20, here we come!

There will be so few people left after jan 20 that you'll have no worries about other people, you'll rarely see one ingame except the fleet area.

  7. I crafted about 100x level 49 blue implants, gathering all the mats was and is an ongoing time consuming process. If i didn't have multiple people helping me with mats i'd never have managed it. I'm looking to reverse engineer them to something like the surge stat. One did go purple, but it has the shield rating stat and this is a dps implant. The rest reverse engineered to nothing. I could easily end up reverse engineering 500 blues and not get what i'm after.

I really don't feel like playing this game much anymore.

  8. I've subbed to the game but haven't paid yet because the free month is not yet up. So if I decide i'm likely going to quit before my sub ends and so i don't forget to cancel i go and stop my subscription now, i immediately lose access to the game.

There's no reason to do this, it's nothing but a scam to try to get more money out of people who plan to quit but forget to unsub, this is blatantly obvious fact.

I know how it works in other mmos too, in other games, you can unsub, and your game access ends when your sub runs out, not the moment you unsub.

  9. It gave you a clear advantage over other players. your lucky they don't ban your account. i have seen it in other games, your really naive.

You are nothing but a troll, saying the most ridiculous things, hoping to provoke someone into flaming you so you can report them for a forum warning.

  10. Bingo this should happen, if you choose to exploit you should have to pay the piper.

just in case you not aware.

An exploit, in video games, is the use of a bug or design flaw by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game's designers.

Yes, of course, everyone who did slicing was exploiting. LMAO. Ban all slicers!

  11. It was needed indeed.

Although I can't say I made big bucks (got about 20K or so) since I only started playing a couple of days ago, it instantly hit me that when sending a companion on a quest which costs 300 credits (give or take) gets back with 1500 credits things are bound to get nerfed.

I was enjoying the cash, but can't blame them for doing it :)

1500 credits is the average payoff for a level 50 slicing mission, and those cost about 1200 credits each.

To get 1500 credits from a 300 credit cost mission is uncommon.

  12. My fiance and i are both level 50, we've had 400 in slicing since level 25. I've had close to 2 million credits, my fiance has about 500k.

See the big difference? Both got slicing, one immensely richer than the other.

I've also got 400 in cybertech, scavenging, and my alt has 400 armortech and 400 underworld trading. I also dropped slicing, a temporary measure so I could get diplomacy to 400, which i planned to drop to take up slicing again, but i may ditch that idea if the nerf was to much.
