Yeah, the flaw of tanking gear is that a full geared dps has the output to kill you and the healer you are guarding befor you two could kill him. imho the best defence is to guard and then kill what ever dares to go for your healer. guarding and......taking 3 attacks longer to die while beeing no threat at all ain't really a good tradeoff. Tanking gear is more something for those that strike deep, want to keep an melee dps alive while beeing out of range any friendly healer. my 2 cent

to be honest, 1 that knows that he has an 9s healingdebuff on a 6second cooldown and interrupts was more dangerouse then 3 that didn't know what to do.

Well, pre 1.2 the counter for focus fire was guard and/or taunt. Focing the attackers to a) seperate the targets or b)use AoE because the low guardrange makes it efficient. Basicly a tactic. a counter tactic and 2 counters for the counter tactic. and afterwards stuff becames very situational. It kinda felt like there was an level of complexity. Where burst came from on organiced switch from defence to offence tactics. now it seems like the only thing you can do against focus fire is to focus as well, killing their backbone faster then they kill yours, enjoy :-/ and with everyone on warhero gear the gap between dmg and survivability just becomes larger.

When giving things away for free it dosn't make us happy, the opposide happens thanks to enviousness. Those who got left out will complain because they didn't get anything for free. raw back and don't make gifts to please them will upset the others bacuse they now didn't get anything for free. go the other way and give something for free to everyone and people will complain that they deserve more then others. Conclusion: Do nothing => everyone is happy.

Wait next to the fire for the stealther to leave stealth. Harpoon him into the it, (preferable after he got the ball). Thank Bioware for stealth to keep random teammates from filling his resolve bar.

precision isn't needed for MMOs Developed the habit of playing over cross (mouse in the left hand while having it right of the keyboard thanks to a short cable) for playing ego-shooters,myself. But an MMO? where by default the mouse is just for camera turning while you are required to play hotkey piono with your left?

If your team is smarter they know how very limited the guard range is that one of the dozen knockbacks is enough to to "dispell guard" temporary

3 dozen customisational armour sets and the abilty to rip mods out out and place them on others.............good for nothing , since I "have" to run around in the very un-star-wars-like looking PvP set for the Expertise. (I can live with the lack of set-combos in return for not looking like the crossover from a Flash Gordon Cartoon , but running with no-expertise is suicide right now) I still hope that this is an and wasn't intentioned that way.

Then I would recomend playing the (Jedi) Knight in shiny armour , instead of rambo.

I dunno, it sounds about right to me as it is. Vanguards for the Spearhead, those who move ahead of the blob and go in first . Commando for those with special weapons instead of the default-Blasterrifle. Predator's " Contaaaaact! " comes to mind.
