In the hands of someone halfway competent that understands pvp you will most likely find vig guard to be the best kept secret in the game. It is very similiar to an arms warrior albeit minus the mortal strike debuff but the hamstring, charge, intervene, pvp taunt, aoe pvp taunt, best peel in game with force push and execute (to name just a few) are all phenomenal.

To answer the title, no. the players themselves killed any shot at it by rolling imperials en masse giving us ridiculous imp:rep ratios.

Served for 10 years sir, got out in 2007. Thank-you for your service. This is a video game, a service we pay for. I see no reason to "suck it up" this simply does not apply here. It's not some life dilemna or challenge I need to overcome, it's a game I no longer find enjoyable. Quit putting so much on it.

plain and simple I dont like this game so I'm not going to pay for it. I liked the idea of it but even from day 1 of hitting 50 in January was not impressed. I am not impresseed by ANY of the games in the MMORPG market so I will not be playing any MMO's. The whole genre has gone to crap in my opinion. But hey, if you enjoy it, have fun. I don't so I'll find something I DO like and I'll be content there. It has nothing to do with my attention span, I'm 35, very succesful and contributing member of society, father of 2 very happily married to the same woman for 15 years. I used this game for what it is, entertainment, and it did not deliver as advertised, so I'll move on. Gaming just doesn't have the same draw for me anymore and that probably has a lot to do with it. Good luck to those of you that do enjoy it.

Plain and simple I don't like this game. I pay for my subscription and I as a paying customer am not happy with the product. I don't give 2 shlts if you approve or not bub. If my discontent with the product this crooked company produces is offensive to you, too effing bad. I've paid my dime and it gives me access to post on this forum temporarily and I'm using the one day i have left on my sub to do just that. Good day.

After giving 1.2 a fair shot (which in retrospect is far more than it deserved) I am cancelling my account. I know noone cares but I just wanted to put it out there as a parting shot. Not gonna go into why except to say I cannot fathom paying another dime of my hard earned money for this garbage. I cannot see where EA dumped the gargantuan mountain of money into this disaster, I hope your investors sue you out of reputable business. I truly wish games like this had some sort of a money back guarantee to help keep the producers of this hog-swill honest.

there's not a single class in this game that you can do this with, not even merc/commando. People that make these claims only put their ignorance on full display. I have leveled a sentinel and it's just like any other class, you use your base abilities to build up/align your cooldowns and then hit your wtfpwn phase. My claim stands that it takes no more skill than any other class. Those that know their class will exceed at it those that don't won't but learning marauder is no harder than learning the intricacies of any other class.

None and i mean NONE of the classes in this game are very hard to figure out or use effectively. That little pipedream most "veteran" marauders have that they have it figured out and everyone else it too stupid, is going to be shattered. I hate to break it to you but yes your precious is that damned good and just like sorcs pre-1.2 you will regularly be seeing full mara/sent teams in pugs and most pre-mades will figure out quickly if you're not tanking or healing you better be carying 2 lightsabers. Quit putting so much on it, fact is marauder and sentinel are just as easy to play as any other class in this game with twice the power.

not a lot of people realize that once MS starts the range for the 2nd and 3rd hit goes out to like 10m.

exactly, now throw in guardian leaps 8% heal and the 20% protection each leap gives on a 20 sec cooldown. edit: also with the buff to dispatch anyone below 30% health near a competent guardian is dead.
