I joined recently and have enjoyed this guild and the community they have established.

As reported & acknowledged elsewhere, the mechaincs of MGGS are bugged at multiple locations (Green Shard datacron on Corellia and +10 Datacron on Republic Fleet). I've only seen complaints in these threads so far, with no suggestions. My suggestion is to make clicking the MGGS work like the teleporters on Belsavis, even if we lose the graphic of flying through the air on the rope until you get it working as desired. Just teleport us to the target location using a mechanism/code that you should already have and appears to work well. Once you get the desired mechanism working reliable, you can bring the associated visuals to the game.

I like my smuggler story line and the ability to join the quest line of my friend leveling a Jedi knight.

The first reply answered your question about rules. For your other question, PvE servers do have zones for PvP play. A PvE sever let's you experience PvP in a limited, controlled fashion. A PvP server allows PvP play to occur in many more contexts.

Great guide. Thanks for making and maintaining it. One suggestion: When I read that scoundrels were ranged DPS and healing, I did not anticipate that the most effective scoundrel DPS would come from melee positions. As discussed in the class forums, it's really a melee DPS advanced class with some weaker ranged DPS options. This is not a QQ because I really enjoy leveling this class, but I did have a different expectation for it base on this guide. You may want to consider classifying this class and the equivalent operative as "mostly melee" and healing. I think many people new to the game or looking for a new experience with a new class will refer to this excellent guide to help make their choice, so the more accurate the descriptions, the better for all.

If you are looking for an AC with healing and ranged DPS options, check out Commando. Scoundrel has some ranged DPS but the talents and abilities make DPS most effective up close.
