  1. I did the shock-stare at those compy-like things the first time I saw them. I can't set foot in Sanctuary now without hearing "Welcome...to Jurassic Park!" Favorite creatures though- thrantas. My son adores them, calls them "dragons", and when I hit Alderaan with my very first character he insisted that I take the thranta taxis back and forth and...back and....forth...and...it went on until I ran out of credits to pay for dragon rides. A nice memory associated with thrantas
  2. Oh....oh my that's...uh...that made my Monday <3
  3. Maybe it's "we" in the Joiner sense? Staffed by Sith OP: I have LL50. The LL requirement plus a million credits does seem excessive to me but as far as we know right now that's just how it is (will be) *shrug* no point in anyone continuing to rage about it. If you've been here since pre-launch/launch, think back on when you didn't even get Sprint until level 15. For me, at least, it really puts the whole Treek/CM/LL controversy in perspective I might be a little more annoyed if Treek were a Gungan. There's considerable entertainment value in sending said Gungan into open flames, caves full of rift lurkers, off the edges of every mesa on Makeb...
  4. I wonder that too- why no Talos love? He's a fascinating character and the only reason I'd ever roll another SI (aside from the ghost-y stuff) One last try: Talos next please? Please?! We'll give you cookies...lots of cookies
  5. Because they're paving the way for Gungans
  6. I've only experienced Tharan through JC-playing friends but from what I've seen...the creepy is strong with that one. Guess that means- for me- Doc wins by default. My female sent has some issues with him but my 'younger' male sent is finding him to be the ultimate wingman.
  7. And as female smugglers it's up to us to teach him otherwise I'd love to see Lord Scourge in a future blog as well but it won't be the next- it's already been stated that the spot is reserved for a Sith Inquisitor companion.
  8. Because you're a gunslinger, you're only supposed to need on aim gear, right? <3 this thread, maybe if I ever decide to pug again I'll have something to contribute someday.
  9. Treek Option 1: Cartel Coins- real-life-cash? Here's your fuzzball. Treek Option 2: 1 million credits- in-game cash but no legacy level nor real-life cash? Here's your fuzzball. Treek Option 3: Legacy Level 40- you've put up with a lot of nonsense, broken promises and grinding because you still love the game but haven't the in-game cash nor real-life cash? Here's your fuzzball. ^ Now that's "win-win", in my opinion. I think what some people with Legacy 40+ are so ticked off about is that little "and" currently residing in between "Legacy Level 40" and "1 Million Credits". I think, which denotes it's my opinion. I want to make that very clear- key word: opinion. I think I've leveled too many IAs. But really. I never thought I'd see so much tumult and angst and ill will over an ewok, of all things...I guess I'm not as jaded as I thought I was...
  10. Only Imperial characters can obtain the "Revanite" title. That said, I'm sure every Revanite believes they're Revan's heir in a metaphysical sense so aside from the faction exclusivity of "Revanite" the two titles are uncomfortably similar... ...that made no sense to me, I need caffeine. Suffice to say I generally agree with you that we could have gotten more but we're not so- as with the ewok debacle- may as well grin and bear it.
  11. Just put your choice of skimpy gear on her and pretend she has a nasty Togruta-specific skin condition which may or may not be incurable. Oh, and shower her with banned Imperial history documents. She loves those. My female 'sin has papered Ashara's quarters with them...
  12. Did you finish your tea? I hope so...imagine Talos tanking..."Is it dead yet...oh my goodness- it's chasing me!" And naw. Thank you for making me smile on a really gloomy near-storming afternoon OP: I'm starting to like this idea more and more. I would pay Cartel Coins to have Quinn tank.
  13. Aha. I forgot about MP. 300 years + Imperial obsession with eugenics = voila, we have our answer for roughly 190 of Revan's heirs per fleet instance
  14. It's an interesting idea but it couldn't be implemented with ease nor would it make sense for a number of companions. It would require new voice acting for combat commentary, new combat animations etc, and each companion has a story/backstory which generally fits their abilities and vice versa. Example you gave: Scourge healing (he already has a dps stance, as does every other companion tank). You really want Scourge smacking you with kolto and growling "STAY ALIVE, YOU INSECT!" (or worse- if they got cheap about the VA- just "DIE.")? Okay, admittedly that would be hilarious...but you see the point. I do like the concept I just don't see it as feasible within the lore-and-mechanics constraints the game has already imposed upon our current companions.
  15. Should be amusing. For at least a couple days both fleets will be full of Revan's offspring- er, heirs. Who could ever have guessed Revan had the spare time to be so...prolific?
  16. Hehe- "Gotta brand-spankin'-shiny-new Black Nebula for you! I call it 'Ouchy' and it's right down there on that tiny ledge...what? Of course there's a ledge, frostbite gone to your brain or something? There ya go...one more step...oops, you missed it by an inch...oooh, that looks like it hurts..."
  17. I'd be willing to bet non-existent Cartel Coins that we get Andronikos or *shudder* Ashara unless Comps 101 takes a drastic turn. Every companion featured thus far is a love interest, and since the next is focusing on SI I'd be pleasantly shocked if it turned out to be Talos (or Khem or Xalek). As for Corso: my female scoundrel tried to get him to leap off the top of the Pub base on Ilum last night during guild July 4th festivities. He stubbornly refused to budge from the edge. He's not as stupid as he seems...but then again there's always a next time
  18. /bump Getting really sick of this sitting in cargo, dyed a lovely red/black, perfect for a certain character of mine- and completely unwearable. Only thing I can figure to try would be black/black dye on it...of course, if the clipping still showed that would be a waste of millions of credits so...no.
  19. Because it would look too good with the hood up? I was annoyed with this chestpiece for a long time- the icon used to show it as hood-up. They've changed the icon since to clearly reflect it being hood-down. Took them a while to get around to it. What I wonder is why there wasn't more of an outcry about the discrepancy between the old icon and the actual piece, considering how certain other Cartel armors caused such an uproar (and rightfully so)
  20. I can't help you much as far as Guardians but...mine is 39, got Scourge at 38. Trading aggro back and forth seems to work rather well if you're careful and watchful and- most important- Scourge is geared. You must gear him up well beyond his starter gear (just like any companion tank). Until you can afford/are able to do that, stick with Doc...unless you're a dps Guardian, can't vouch for that but my dps sent does just fine with Scourge (but, again, geared)
  21. Considering I'm on my fourth agent now I should have known better but <agent spoilers below>
  22. Trymbo is beyond hilarious, that quest is at the top of my favorite list. That one on Imp Voss also cracks me up whenever I run across it. I pretty much lose it every time he starts in on the mimicking and hit esc to go through the convo again. Then there's Captain Bryn ( ) And, finally, a certain SW
  23. Bertie Carvel, male Imperial Agent. Kath Soucie, female Smuggler. Maybe it's notable (in my case) that both have terrific giggles
  24. Forget waiting for HM if you're the least bit interested in the story/cutscenes; all you'll get with HM is spacebar spacebar spacebar (unless you're in a guild and don't need to rely upon PUGs/GF to run fps) For story's sake? Solo Boarding Party and do SM Foundry now. Enjoy!
  25. Lord Scourge. Oh wait... ...so I have to say Vector. Sweet, intelligent and utterly bizarre? Yep, even with my innate aversion to most insects (ants in particular) and even though the dialogue was somewhat awkward at times- Vector.
