  1. yea they are changing a bunch of materials, but if you want to craft things before then make sure you are looking up 3.0 recipes. dont google it I guess, look in your actual crafting panel right? basically you can't make the part you need yet because its not 4.0 so where is it telling you you need it? if its in game its a bug. there shouldnt be updates for that yet
  2. people are just idiots? I don't know about that. It took me months to realize unlocking meant I got it account wide. I thought it was just for that character, like each character had to buy it.
  3. or what if they had their own tab in collections? you could just collapse it and ignore it. things you can't get like pre release items, game card items and cantina code items should have their own section right? then you can get all the pets, theoretically
  4. I really enjoyed the new star wars cartoon. It was a little on the light side for me, but it made me appreciate the darker moments more. It is a really fun series and I love how its a coming of age story and a family story (with obvious mother, father, little brother, big brother and big sister roles). I think I liked the previous series more though, rebels is still trying to find its footing. Although with the previous series things seemed out of order and it wasn't until the very end that I realized the clones I had kept seeing were the same ones. xD
  5. cat zash looks amazing! much improvement over the cathar. I was super excited about them but they are lacking in... in.. I don't know. essential cat-i-ness. I rarely ever see them in game.
  6. all I have to add to this is when I GTN I have a scratch pad for writing on and my phone's calculator. I keep track of whichever matts I buy/sell the most. lol my avatar makes me look like I double posted *waves at her twin*
  7. cutscenes already take off our masks... what if there was some sort of skin that only changed how it looks.. and it gets turned off for cut scenes? no forget that, that's stupid. so.. what if... at a certain part of the story when you get an expansion you just get a new ship? like a whole new ship? like if in one of them like your ship blows up and you get a new one? a special one tailored to each class and their new role in the story expansion. however it would have to be like KOTFE, where you can not go back and do old content because of the new ship, because of the cutsceens. fallen empire would have been an ideal expansion for it. I'd settle for cool ways to park a ship in strongholds, but the ship is like.. open.. and you can walk up into it and explore it without loading screens. would work great with the Tatooeen. or possible a future stronghold could be a private space station and theres a hangar for each class ship with a loaded, not functional version of the ship when you finish that class's story! (but you have to go through a loading screen to get to the area with the ships, like the tatooeen elevator) also maybe one day they'll take away the dumb holograms for companions. They should all just be there all the time in the flesh. or give us like.. decoration versions of them when we finish their quests/affection. wow that got off topic fast
  8. I would absolutely love being able to put a weapon and or color crystal into my outfit designer. I actually carried around multiple crystals for a while, for the different outfits. cyan, red and yellow xD I remember buying a virbosword that was low lvl that went with my outfit, then realized it wasn't part of the system. I guess it would mess up attack animations?
  9. The whole point is to give people something extra special. It isn't any different than people who got the pre orders. Now, I am completely biased on this issue because I got an extra pet from the target card before target stopped selling them. But the pets don't seem so special that you need that specific one.
  10. I think that would be interesting. what I think would be better is the perfect world model. there is a auction house just for in game currency. People will post hundreds of money bought currency at a time and the prices are highly competitive. the same amount of players buy the special currency, but it lets them spread it around. that way people can buy an item they want off the microtransactions market without waiting for it to show up on the auction house. it ends up being cheaper to buy the coins when theres a dip in the prices than buy the specific item for millions of in game money . people inflate the prices to make a profit so that they can go buy more currency... its a complicated economy.
  11. Nautolan then kel dor then voss. possibly after some sort of expansion pack voss storyline. line voss civil war with people from both sides being taken into the empire and republic. farghul cat people are what they should have made instead of cathar. what if to become these new races you have to go to a mother machine thats open to all people on a neutral planet and have your race changed there? because explaining in game why a voss is playable might be too much of a strain
  12. as other people have said, there is a timer. I think that even worn cartel items would be better off bound to legacy, but it is a little redundant with the collections. I think the point here is that they wanted to give people with a lot of money a reason to use cartel coins, even if they could buy all the gear they wanted on the GTN. So far I think I've only unlocked one outfit and one color crystal. Wish we could unlock dyes. But the 240 cc is a bit expensive. If you subscribe its like you can unlock one thing a month xD not very much. For me unlocking a gear set that took me months to assemble, knowing that now every single character I ever make can have it felt so good. It gets even better with the free dye packs I get from the cantina crates when I make a new character. It means I can play with my looks right out of the gate. Now if only legacy banks had a credit slot, so I didnt have to wait for my newborn toons to quest a bit before I can play with outfit designer. I like to think of it as encouragement to make people buy things with their credits on the GTN so they can save their cartel coins for unlocks. Although I wish we could just buy every single item via collections with cartel coins, even if its not a good price. The crates get a little on my nerves. I only get to buy a hyper crate like once a year and theres gazillions of them to pick from
  13. I can wait either way, my lvl 55's aren't totally ready for expansion yet xD I do look forward to shadow of revan, altho I have never been able to find people for operations so I may wait till I've gone through the operations storyline first. I buy ea game cards and buy game time with them, because they dont have game time cards around here. I do 2 cards, spend 30 on the game time, then the 10 left over on cartel coins (or keep it so that next sub time i only need to buy one card).
  14. I pre ordered so I'm pretty good compared to anyone thats not an alpha xD but because of school I couldn't actually play the game right away. think I first logged in 2 months after launch. altho I was gone for like a year
  15. I feel like lvl sync will be annoying for legacy related things and completionists... but I am hoping for the best and will give it a chance.
