Hello, My game keeps crashing to desktop when trying to load into Tatooine. I have been there before and this just started happening. I can run the repair and it fixes it for a short time some times. I've searched around and found no solutions that have worked for me. Please if anyone can help I would appreciate it.

I think it looks fine but the idea of it is everything I hate about MMO's. It's just a big grind. Some people dig that and that's ok but it's not for me.

I can only assume since this hasn't been added so far this is a technical challenge? I think a ton of folks would enjoy this option. I know you can just make a new character and replay it but it would be sweet if we could do it with existing max level characters so we can decide what we look like. Maybe add a difficulty option.

Hello all, Is there a hotkey to hide headgear? I like to take mine off for cutscenes and I know you can do it via the character screen but was wondering if there was a quicker way. Or maybe a macro? Thanks.

"Scrub?" Amusing. So...I've spent the last couple of days doing some pvp with my various charcters. Here is my opinion. Sentinal - Gods..this was painful. I couldn't figure out what to do other than die and I do well in PVE with this class. Shadow - Much easier than the Sent but I found it frustrating to close to melee all the time. Bounty Hunter - Had a lot of fun. I'm a merc so I healed a little and did some damage. I liked the range. Gunslinger - I did very well in Voidstar and Huttball..the one with the big guns I struggled a bit with but over all I was top of the chart in damage on more than one occation. I know this doesn't much matter but it's telling to me as I suck at pvp. One thing that will keep me away from pvp until it's fixed or I get a better PC was the horrible lag. It was crippling at times so I won't be going back. But based on my opinion GS is fine in PVP.

Complaining without offering a solution is pointless. And "fix it" is not a solution. I despise these threads because invariably they always devolve into "it sucks in PVP". Once I would like to play a game in which PVE wasn't balanced or influenced by PVP.

Trolls by their very nature do not reply. In any case that's exactly WHY I watch PVP videos, to get tips. I hate PVP. I think it ruins PVE because the devs feel the need to balance the game based on it. That said there are some skilled people that pvp. And there are some unskilled ones. I'm pretty good at telling the difference between the two. Based on my own experiences, those observations, and sludging through the Taris sewer pipes that pass for these forms it's clear to me that a lot of the people complaining in these forums could use some practice.

All I care about is that he's dangerous in a fight. Assuming you take the time to gear him but that's will all companions. And what kind of a douche bag shoots unarmed women?

So you are saying that all videos of anyone winning a match or doing well in a match are invalid because they only post vids of them doing well? I fail to follow your logic. I understand people tend to want to post vids in which they do well to boost their eog or whatever, but the fact remains there are vids out there of gunslingers DOING WELL. I've watch PVE and PVP vids in which they do just fine. Full, uncut matches not just highlights. I'm not saying they are perfect but they aren't "the weakest" out there. Far from it.

Well I stand corrected then. Quitting seems dramatic tho. How about trying a different class until BW corrects the change? I can't imagine they would leave it lilke this based on their customer-bases response.

Wait, what? I didn't understand this. Are you saying you are sorry he got destroyed by a GS which you believe to be the weakest class in the game? That's an incorrect opinion if so. I don't personally PVP but I watch PVP vidoes and people that know how to play the GS don't seem to have any more trouble that any other classes. Some seem easier to master (BH Merc I'm looking at you) but none of them seem particularly broken if they are played with skill. Maybe you lack skill? Just a logical deduction.

I'll throw in here. GS was the first class I made and although I've tried others I always come back. I come back for the story and the unique gameplay. It's like no other character I have ever played in any MMO. It has similarities to be sure, but definitly not cookie cutter. Dual wielding blasters is just Bad *****. Because it's different and people fear that which they do not understand. Being in cover doesn't necessarily mean you should STAY in cover all the time. Move around...several GS abilities really benefit from you moving around.

Really? Dramatic much? I don't like it either but that it makes the game "unplayable" for you is astounding to me.

Sounds like you made the right choice in abandoning the class. The only point I agree with you on is the ranged stun. That is odd and a bit bothersome. As far as being stationary? I'm rarely in one cover spot for the entire fight. I'm always on the move, getting into new postion (to refresh my dampeners and get an instance Charged Burst if nothing else). I do way more than just lob grenades. So yes, play a sage or something that isn't as difficult to master.

Forums for MMO's are always discouraging. The dredges of the game come here to vent their frustration that they can't play their class. Maybe 5-10% of the posts here have value. Don't get me wrong, those 5-10% are typically very useful but don't let all the b*tching and complaining get you down.

Ah..this is a PVP guide. I wish you would have labled it as such in the title.
