I used the force to sense this disaster and jumped ship long ago. I am now communicating, through the force, to warn all those to not turn to the dark side (SWTOR).

If you researched the Hero Engine, you would have also found out that the game the Engine was designed for (hero's journey) was never publicly tested. So I can't help but wonder how they can claim that is holds 1000's of players on screen. Where exactly did they get 1000 players to test it? It never had an open beta, closed beta, or even alpha for that matter. I don't even think the game had 1000 people interested in it, lol.

Yea, stop comparing this game to WOW. World of Warcraft was actually a 'good' game. This game doesn't compare in anyway shape in form. Even the crap they copied from WOW (which was everything) wasn't done better.

I always love it when some random guy on the forums comes up with better ideas than an entire design team could come up with in years. You have to wonder who is shooting out the ideas when games are created? Seriously, what the hell happens in these meetings? I'm going to refrain from bring up the 'monkeys throwing poo at each other' (oh wait, i said), but geez! The imagine is so clear in my head and just makes so much sense!>

This is actually a post to set up those complaining about the game. I think the game sucks ***, but my response to this question would be.. -Acknowledge problems and act like they will be fixed quickly, but completely realize that it will be a year or more before they do. All of this is to re-affirm those still clinging to hope in an attempt to suck in more money. Also would have released the game before Christmas as well, since even before it came out, I would have realized that the game itself was lacking on many fronts and wasn't up to standards in today's MMO market. This would at least supply sufficient funds to make a buck, even if the game flops. Ride out the 'Star Wars' name as long as I could, before even the fanboys became aware of the situation and unsub- Yea, I guess I would be doing exactly what they are doing.
