  1. Hey have you heard of something called life I hear those two things happen a lot. I bet you work at Taco Bell because it's your passion am I right? Yes it is I'm all for a civil war that end 5-0 or a huttball that an epic cap wins the game. I'm not here to cuddle guys in greens, I can handle average players they follow instructions, team work can overcome gear handicap.
  2. Well when the other team sets up a chain and the first cap happens in 45s yeah lost cause or when one player at 50% hp can get 5 people on my team to chase him for I don't even know. When a group in mostly greens says cap side, me as the wz leader i tell them no take middle we get three capped sorry im out. When a guy stand there cd'd or uses his trinket on a slinger's leg shot and gets flash capped(I love that **** on my sniper) without even spamming help or anything, I personally blame him if cc'd but i watch the minimap like a hawk no game of life person peg I get there fast. The best is when he runs to their spawn as the stealth wait for his buddy to bait him. Blame BW the people that leave are in the battlemaster grind we gain no reward from staying. I only leave games where I know there is no possible way we can win. I'm good, but I'm not 7 other people at once, you will notice on our servers numbrs make the difference not skill.
  3. You don't understand server imbalance do you, repubs can easily do a forced 8m premade. my server is 6:1 favor imps. When its 10am and the whole of 20 level 50 republics are on its pretty easy to exploit the system. If 2 sets of four are que'd and 3 solo'd they system will automatically match the option that ends with a full team.
  4. lol I can Orbital Strike on cd and a really good call boosts my damage by 100k, 3k on every target for four ticks. Voidstar is big number central I've pulled over 500k because people don't move from aoes.
  5. I haven't met a marauder I couldn't kill as a sniper one on one, in melee range the closest I've ever come to dying in a fair fight was like 3% when the mara dropped. I used my rakata medpac and defensive cds though. I mean my ambush hits from about 6k on a sorc sometimes see a 3k hit through their bubble. Followthrough takes them down by 3.8-4.5k, and a takedown hits for about 5-6k. This was a pure healer though so idk if they have all that damage mitigation. Only targets that are hard to kill are those geared powertechs that can drop my normally 2.3k snipe to 400-500.

  7. Yeah, but there should be a separate place for team and mercenary(CoD reference). I'm all for group ques, but that isn't fair to put a working group against randoms. There will always be that option in the game. That isn't a valid argument, it happens already. there will be people who like me in old Ilum killed reps in objective trading. If I plant the bomb I'm going to dot to my last breath to stop the defuse. Ultimately people will take the 3/15 for winning a game instead of being selfish and losing it all. Other than Huttball where jugg/powertech have an advantage the rest are level playing fields. I really want a DEV response or something on this .
  8. Really what game do you play, I've killed carriers 3 steps from the line. People will always cheat the system no matter what why it is set up. Making your argument completely invalid. I've seen healers plant bombs/defuse, most of them healer right at the door, healer or dps you still get interrupted. The fact still remains you are perfectly capable of capping a ball as a sorc, jugg/powertechs would have the biggest advantage naturally. Outside of that all I'm really hearing is excuses, in civil war and voidstar you can cap just like anyother class/spec. The difference between and average player and a good player I guess. If you think you can only do one thing spam heals you're not much better than those dps that team deathmatch in the middle. The only reason against this are bad player, bad player, bad player. I see the selfish **** done for medals all the time. Making it objective based won't stop a sniper with 30% who probably doesn't have throw bound to try to run it. What I'm saying is to stop the whole leave game and most people from not playing the game you have to give them an incentive. As a player in the BM grind I will always leave a group in full greens/losing games/ general bad player groups. I have very little control in the game as a sniper compared to a jug/powertech. Until they make a real premade system no I'm not going to wait 20min to q with 3 other people. I would rather have a system that narrows in on skill than how much time I have during the day. You still get the general credit for winning, but the guy who 6 capped deserves to finish his daily in one game. I'm sure they can count healing a ball carrier for an x amount as credit. x amount of heals on a contested point giving healer the easiest credit of all, making it 150k healing on a contested point. Dotting a player trying to plant a bomb which is the highest priority, all healer classes have some sort of aoe of that nature. It's nice to spam those number, but you can't get all annoyed when asked to do one or two extra jobs.
  9. That won't help they will play the same way just taking longer to achieve what they need. This issue really is worst in the BM where if its a losing game I gain nothing I need 3 wins 30 arms and I'm done. If you put people in control of some of the credit I would have some incentive to stay. If I can get one or 2 credit out of 5 even in a losing game I'm fine. If I have to rely on 7 people for my success I get annoyed.
  10. I get what you are saying, but this would reward the exceptionable player. This is still a pug system and the fact is there is no possible way to force teamwork. You tell the team how they can win they don't do it we lose. Three way split in civil war we lose because we over extended. When you talk raids you are still under a leader that at any point can kick you or take away loot. In pvp the leader has a higher valor lvl doesn't mean much, he has no real power. Most of the flaws in this method happen anyway. I see 6 people run to defuse while all of them are in aoes and I see a guy with 10% health trying to run a ball. You still get credit for winning, but you deserve more for being exceptional.

  12. Right is that how you fix the losing problem and how about the no credit problem now. I mean premades are bs against a group of pugs and have no place in this system. They need to add a separate q if you want to come in with 7 people you know against 8 that don't know each other.

  18. Currently it would take 6h worth of games played to get 1 bm piece without count wait times, assuming you win all your games, and the '1 in 4 chance'. To get one champion set piece with that daily it takes 450 minutes in those perfect conditions. Guess what that daily is based off of SEVEN OTHER PEOPLE... See if I could solo win a game that would be nice this system is based off of pugging, not premade so the group with people argument isn't valid. To rely on seven other people and not yourself for the most part isn't really fair and PvE is a little more forgiving with that. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=281908 making the dailies more like this would put more on ability the good players would finish dailies quickly and the average players would take longer, but 6h in the perfect conditions for bm grind and 450min for a champion set piece that is very excessive. The way in the link would make it more dependent on yourself. If they want our credit to be tied in with seven other people implement a rated or premade wz system.

New Dailies Voidstar: X amount of defender/objective point from dotting players trying to cap Plant(explosion)/slicing consoles/defusing yield credit Huttball X amount of heals on ball carrier X amount of defense of ball carrier Passing 2 time from X distance resulting in a cap(I'd say from the speed boost point up) Cap the ball: Killing blow on carrier in your end zone Civil War: (The credit goes to the owner of the point) X amount of healing on a contested point X amount of KB on a contested point Slicing a turrent X amount of defense contested point 100-200 WZ kills daily instead of Ilum. Ilum daily decreased made kills only there is another half of Ilum for collecting respawned items. I mean if they added two sets of dailies and players could choose making the 3 wins the fast one and the objective maybe 15 or so credit. Allowing people who want to gamble on 3 straight wins and people who like consistency. I mean the 5min cd on kills hasn't really stopped kill trading just made them wait an extra 2 minutes. The arms callect is just awful they didn't like old Ilum objective trading and they made a pure PvE way of finishing the quest. I personally think is just terrible. People take 4-6h to finish these dailies and when they say it takes to long you claim gear babies. I'm sorry we are all casual gear grinds under this system. Not one of these dailies evaluates any form of skill. If they gave an objective based daily people would stay in losing game helping the rotworm score, warzones closure in 120 seconds. There will never be a perfect system that no one will exploit. There will always be people who find a system or cheat int he game. If they gave people a choice of the short risky way or a longer earned way. If they add a grouped warzone que make a choice for a 4 or 5 win daily or an increase objective daily. Where a lot of the selfish factor that would lose game happens less. I assume they would be guild/friends. Personally I want to see some control in my success/failure. In a raid a bad will not get loot or get kicked in pvp he can do nothing that game and still get a decent amount of valor. I wouldn't suggest giving WZ any real power a high valor level mean you have time. You can never expect teamwork from pugs, like expecting monkeys to do Calculus. I also made this an open ended discussion so throw your healer credit ideas in. I'm sure you guys can all throw in an idea or two that would be pretty great. I'm sure a community of millions can put a lot more idea out than a team of 10 devs
  21. Personally one daily that has a 1/4 chance of dropping half the cost of a bm piece should not be 1h30 meaning for 1 pieces of gear I would spend 12h. Then with the retarded Ilum system 3h with 1/4. Spending a total of 18h for 1 piece of gear. I mean that is way to much time for 2 dailies. Took me 6h with no WZ credit yesterday Ilum took me 30m before they *** ****ed it. I don't care what people say but these dailies by default are gear throwers. Ilum measures my ability to play mario kart. The WZ credit issue well thats just plain ****. The whole wins thing the system is based on pugging not premades. Spending 45m on that dailies just for playing not winning would means I get a piece of gear every 6h worth of games played. Which is reasonable in my eyes. When I am one of 8 people, I really can't force 7 other people to stop playing team deathmatch in the middle. It really doesn't help in any way. I get to the goal line I get face ****ed by 4 respawns. People don't understand that controlling the other team in huttball>>>killing them. These dailies require no skill at all just persistence. They want to make skill based dailies that help the game, they make dailies that require you to plant/disarm bombs, kill enemies on the turret point, cap the ball or kill the bc in your endzone. Those kind of dailies help the game encouraging objective play. Right now its exploit 12 times to finish a 3 win daily and play mario kart for an hour or so. So really they have to do away with these dailies they aren't pvp dailies they are just time sinks.

  23. Yup when I tell people to cap certain point in civil war and they do a 3 way split causing us to lose yes that is my fault I'm terrible so I leave. Yeah at 60 valor the only reason people do wz is for wins if you want 65 valor you do ilum. You remind me of a bad player who thinks he sticks it out it means he is good. I'm all for a hard win, but if in the first 10s they can cap because everyone is to busy fighting in the middle that is a easy loss. I leave everyone of those games and I'm damn proud of it I don't support bad players. I also stay to the very end on those 1-1 games where it all comes down to who is holding the ball at the end. So I'll give you that some are probably bad, but I will also say blame BW for making it that way why waste 15m on getting farmed.
