Feeling lucky today....

If they still haven't decided when the next season will start, I'd settle for an update on what their thought process is and what they are considering. Are they waiting for the new cross faction wz to see if they can implement the same for solo ranked? Any update at this point would go a long way.

I love how Eric responds to a question about referral links but remains silent regarding S7.....

Wow dude, you need to relax... I know the PvP isn't perfect but I still find it enjoyable. If you don't, don't do it... I'm not trying to force you. I am however starting to get the feeling like you're one of those "mad cuz bad" types. Regardless, do or don't do whatever you want, it's your life.

Hey man, if you don't like the PvP in this game, don't play, no one's going to miss you. I feel a lot of hostility in your post, did I hurt your feelings in game or something? ( this is in reply to something the above poster has since edited out ) Anyway.... I was just trying to offer some advice that in my experience makes the game more fun.

Make some friends, get a group going, work on coordinated CC and hard swaps.... Can be very fun and rewarding.

This is exactly right. YOU are the reason they set incredibly low drop rates on specific items. They know that YOU will spend $500 trying to get the item. And as long as there are people like YOU out there, they will continue to do so.

Why feel bad for the devs??? Of course they didn't intend for this to happen, but they are so incompetent that this is happening and has happened many times in the past. If I f-ucked up this many times at my job, regardless of my "intentions," I'd be unemployed.

Whoever is responsible for the quality control of patches should lose their job. Seems harsh, but really this happens almost every patch.

By a long shot? You listed TWO classes that one could easily argue have as good or better defensives AND are both ranged, so can kite a lot easier.... Maybe my definition of a long shot is different than yours.

Lol, another person with no experience commenting on classes they know nothing about. I really shouldn't bother with these boards but here I go anyway.... First off, guardians CAN use their best defensive while stunned, so gg on that point. Also, if you can't find a friendly target to leap to, you're way out of position and probably deserve to die. Secondly, there's not thousands of pt's doing well on the leaderboards. And yes, 90% of the really high rated pt's got there by farming tanks. I got almost a 2k rating last season doing exactly this (with only 70 or so wins and very few losses). A lot of the sorcs at the top are dps, this is why I said they are far greater than pt's. Maybe next time refrain from commenting on things you clearly don't have a clue about.

I'll also make it clear that a 28k ion burst is NOT normal and requires either damage buff with relic procs or under geared target. On my fully min maxed vg I usually crit between 18-22k.

Merc is still weak in solo but this thread is about PT's. I guess I'll just say that bounty hunters and troopers in general have sub par defensive abilities.

Not sure if you're misunderstanding me or just trolling lol... But in case you're being serious, what I'm saying is: I've played vg, guardian, sent and shadow in solo ranked and of those 4 classes I've found vg to be the most difficult to play as in 4 v 4 DPS games due to their lack of defensives.

I've played all as DPS and all are easier to run in 4 v 4 DPS matches than vg... Guardian has three lives and a plethora of great defensives; sent has 30 secs of 20% damage reduction, 12 sec sabre ward, 6 seconds of 99% damage reduction, a vanish and a ton of stun immunity; shadows have the ability to drop combat and heal to full, 5 seconds resilience, deflection with spec'd stun immunity, phase walk and shadow step.... vg's have no escapes and can easily be focused down thru all their cd's. Anyone who actually plays solo ranked knows that vg's / pt's are the easiest targets. Oh and as far as your guardian dying in two stuns, you're doing it wrong... Focus defense when you get low during first stun, when you get stunned the second time, break it, you'll be white barred, pop your reflect, count to 3 (or 5) then hit your enure and medpak... If you're still in trouble use your aoe slow then guardian leap or blitz to get out and los.

You just listed 4 classes.... do you understand the definition of multiple? Also, don't forget mercs and tk sages.

Well if you had any real ranked experience, you'd realize that the PT/VG's topping the leaderboards are spec'd as tanks and get a ton of rating from farming bad tanks (I got 1900 on my VG last season with 65 wins and almost no losses).... as for DPS, sorc/sages are the only class that have been able to top the boards on a consistent basis. Right now an argument could be made that sorcs/sages are the best dps class in ALL ranked formats but one thing is for sure, they are hands down the kings of solo. DPS PT/VG's do well in 4's but are subpar in solo's due to their inability to survive in a 4v4 dps match (most solo ranked pops). If you've spent any time queuing ranked you'd know that having a PT/VG on your team is a liability as they are very squishy and will almost always get focused down first. If they nerf VG dps they have to give them some increased defensives, perhaps remove the cap on overload or adrenaline rush or increase rocket healing. Monkey status? LOL, that could be said about any class, this game is not hard... all classes are easy to play with some slight variance (sniper/mercs/sorcs require some added knowledge of kiting). There are many classes right now that can crit for over 20k consistently and have far better defensive abilities. Also I have to say your overall tone screams, "I'm mad because I don't know how to play my class and got owned by a PT." I would be interested on what class you main because I could give you tips on how to counter a PT. Anyways, that's my two cents with over a thousand ranked games played on multiple classes to back it up.

I'm getting this on one of my characters... every time is zone, my boots are activated. Is there a fix?
