Do you have a timeframe of when 'Epic' gear will be fully modable again?

Actually the exact scenario goes as follows, I ran into a sniper while trying for armaments by myself, he rooted me before I could even realise he was there, I saber threw, and after about 25% of my hp was gone I was able to Force Leap to him, thus putting me in range to actually do some damage. Being a Guardian I don't take to much damage, and only took about 10% more before I killed him (popping Saber Ward as well as the 40% damage reduction) After killing him, I noticed another sniper (at first I thought he was the same guy) started attacking him. He went to do Ambush, so I interrupted it so as to not get knocked back. He then Flashbanged me, ran about 15-20 meters and rooted me. I eventually got within melee distance again, and got him to roughly 20% ( I know this because I could have used dispatch) He proceeded to use his electric shiv stun thing, and ran off to a sorc. who was mounting past. I was at about 30% Hp and was rooted by the sorc. Too far away to finish the kill that, if I could have gotten to melee distance by force leaping or moving in genereal, I should have gotten. EDIT: I guess what I am trying to say is, when melee dps is rooted... We can't do damage... when ranged are rooted, who cares, the can still do anything/everything they could normaly. I'm not screaming for a buff, I honestly don't care too much, I still kill people frequently. I just find it quite annoying.

I've been there far to many times. As well as in Ilum, being rooted by 2 snipers and a sorc. all in a row... horrible, stood no chance...

I honestly think for melee classes rooting effects should fill up our resolve bars... I honestly hate it more than being stunned... I can be in a constant root, and accomplish nothing besides a saber throw... >.> At least when I am stunned I know my resolve will eventually kick in and then I can get back in the action. When I am rooted its like slapping me in the face... and I feel it'd be a waste to trinket out of something that only effects melee only to be stunned or CC'd (Conncussion round[dart] etc.)

Also I was saying the scenario of me beating an op is in the ideal situation, both of us at full hp, and in no conflict w/ other players. If I'm already in a fight, I will most likely lose, but if you see an op attacking someone else, you know as well as I do, they will be squished like a bug. As for the scoreboard stats, I'm not sure if you inferred I get that amount of dps w/ that amount of guarding. Because that usually isn't the case (although it has happened.) I generally focus more on winning, and objectives. EDIT: If I am in a group with a lot of skilled guildies or friends, I will focus on DPS, or guarding. Generally only rack up high dps counts in Voidstar, sometimes in Civil War, and rarely in Huttball usually only around 70-150k in those...

But generally, they aren't more than a neusance... Bad thing is, they usually like to strike when you are already fighting someone, which usually ends badly...

Interrupt, stun, call in reinforcements if need be? Regardless, you don't die... you can hold 5 people off of an objective for quite a while without problems untill you get healers and high dps over to you. Play stratigically, not all about dps...

Then reroll? I love my guardian. I am unstoppable in Huttball, and am at the top of the charts medal wise every match. Generally 7-10. 100-250k damage, and 40-60k protection. Just excited for when I get battlemaster gear... I assume with all of this talk about how much of a difference it makes, I'll be getting immortal every game, rather than 1-3 a day.

Don't need to race if you don't die.. they just run out of resources and you drain them of everything, I'm not saying I kill people in 2 seconds, but I kill them nontheless.

Honestly in a 1v1, I don't lose... even to Battlemaster Assassins... Idk what it is, but I don't find it hard... Maybe playing smart?

Try popping the 15% expertise warzone stim?

Heal specced are hard to take down, Interrupts, plus stun locking is the only way I can do anything to them. I usually call for back up on them. I mainly stun lock as much as possible. Using Awe as an interrupt also helps. I'm only at 491 Expertise and can do this, if you can't I appologize.

I'm not lying, You still have your Guardian slash, plus with using your focus gen. you can just spam Slash, Blade Storm, or Riposte. Use Warzone Medkits if you must, but they are definately an easy kill for me.

I play a lvl 50 Def. specced Guardian. I have no problems killing them. I am mainly in champion gear 2 Centurion(belt & bracers), and A modded pants that have the Ilum Daily armoring and Champ boot mods. I just pop my Resolute and spin around and force push em away. Throw Saber, Force Leap Stun, 4 second non channeled Force Stasus while Master Striking. bout 50% health gone by that point. Rest is cake... Delicious cake...

I feel it may be due to the single threat generating ability being Hilt Strike. I wish Cyclone Slash or Force Sweep were high threats if in Soresu form...

Even if they rollback valor... how many have lvl 60 Valor gear? how can they check that, and seperate it from those who got it legitly... Big mistake Bioware.... May the Force be with you guys... you'll need it.... But hey, I still believe in you guys!

People have gotten more valor today, than I have in 50 levels of PvP... What were you thinking?

I feel not only do they need to fix and balance it, but they need to compensate us for all the moral drop, valor loss, and overall time wasted with this.

50+ vs 12... Only concern is killing... Other side farming us for insane Valor boosts.... absolutely horrible... They managed to make Illum worse. Not only can we not get our daily/weekly done, they are going to max their valor, getting better gear with which to stomp us harder... Thanks for nothing...

Here's a thought, don't make it so overpowered? Instead of 15x buff, change it to say 3x buff...
