They have to be kidding me with 1.2 update. I have many things to complain about. I dont know who bioware got as developers, but they obviously have no idea what they are doing.
First of all, this is the first true update to the game since it came out. I hope this is not what to expect. They promised ranked warzones and fell through the night before?....Are you kidding me. If you say you are going to put something out, then you better do it. That is basically false advertising. I am looking into legal proceedings to get a refund on my subscription due to the fact they made promises on a product and fell through on it. There are many laws corresponding to such events.
Secondly, you know what makes a good game? Developers that listen to the masses. (That is sarcasm by the way.) Why would you listen to all the scrubs for how to change your game. They should have asked players with extensive play time, not listen to children qqing on the forums. The class changes that occurred in 1.2 are the worst I have ever seen in any mmo. Bioware has failed hardcore. You completely destroyed sorcerers! I am a War Hero and have extensive PvP experience. I was 2200 rated in WoW arenas. I know a good bit about PvP. Sorcerers before 1.2 were the worst 1v1 class in the game. against another player of equal skill and gear we should have lost 100% of the time. Now we are just worthless 1v1. Yes we could do god damage in Warzones and had great healing, but only when we were ignored. Yes if you let a sorc sit on a walkway all game and spam spells they are going to get great numbers. But what ranged class doesnt pull insane numbers when you let them sit in a corner and spam moves? All you had to do to counter a sorc pre 1.2 was focus them first. We wear light armor....1.Send an operative after us! I am in full BM gear and I still get 3-4 shot by the operative I run with. 2. Send a Marauder or juggernaut after us. They stick to us like glue and completely counter us as well as do great damage. Now sorcerers are a worthless class because you listen to a bunch of qqin children! Way to go Bioware.
Also you buffed 2 of the top 3 damage dealing classes....Are you ******** me? You nerf sorcerers and buff Juggernauts and Marauders?! ***?! They were already top classes. They were up there with the top classes already. They were amazing 1v1ers and great Warzone contributers. So you buff them? Do the developers even know anything about this game? So stupid. I cant believe you made already overpowered classes even more broken. Developers need to wake up and look at the numbers not forum posts.
All Bioware has done with 1.2 is fall through on promises and create a broken class structure. You have made unstoppable forces in Juggernauts and Marauders and screwed over the rest of us. I have been very faithful to SWTOR so far. I stayed with it expecting good updates. I stayed through no endgame content to speak of, terrible crafting skills that gave you nothing unless you were a biochem, and no ranking system for PvP. I have to say I expected great things from Bioware in 1.2. They have failed horribly and it is going to show in the decrease in subscriptions. way to ruin a game with a lot of potential Bioware. (Sort of like the ending to Mass Effect 3.)
