Just found out a lot of people from BOSS have rolled alts on The Harbringer to play during non peak times... I was just on there before 7pm our time and there was still a second Fleet Instance up... unbelievable compared to our 30 on fleet!!! I have been opposed to rerolling but insta cue pops (well close too ) and a VARIETY of people to play with and against is too much of a good thing to pass up on... Seriously thinking about shifting my ficus to playing on the Harbringer during NON PEAK and Master D during PEAK... UNTIL THEY FIX THIS SILLY SERVER! (lol sorry about CAPS but needed to make my point clear xD) Also GRIZZY tells me the name <BOSS> is a hit with the Yanks lol... would be nice to see some Aussie "refugee" themed guild names tho Im still going to campaign hard for a server merger for us.... F2P will be the Death of Master D... F2P doesnt offer anything much for end game players and ppl arent going to fork out money to play on a dead server. <3 Chippy

From my experiments pop on the Harbringer is nearly double if not more than The Bastion

I just rolled a test toon on the Harbringer... at 8am our time (yes I know ts early but days off FTW!) there was 75 on the starter planet!!! I did a who (Imperial Fleet) and it was showing 2 instances >.< I searched a couple of warzones and all full of 50s!! Puts it in perspective how BAD our server is (population wise of course!) My ping was pretty good, best Ive seen it on the US servers. *edit* I might actually start playing an alt on The Harbringer because it looks like its got a HUGE population and looks like a pretty good community.

Good post. I have always been against rerolling but the thought has popped in my head recently. I havent played Chippy in nearly a week now due to the poor population. I think the reality is nothing is going to happen to our server for the next few months. F2P model looks totally crap and is designed once you hit 50 to start forking out the money to play end game content and I just cant see people doing this with the current state of the game. I would be willing, well I would give it a crack, to reroll. I am slightly in favour of US servers tho. Ward raised a good point with the Harbringer server. I would most likely want to go to the most populated server out of the Bastion and The Harbringer. I will sacrifice PING for population, especially a HUGE population. I am a little hesitant to invest hours into a new character tho as our fate is still unknown. I would hate to level up to 50 and then all of a sudden they bring out paid transfers or merge the AU servers.

Master Dar'Nala is dead!!! A video reply has been made to mine which is more than sufficient proof Bioware! http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=544226 What else do we have to do Bioware to get the message through to you? Prediction Bioware will continue to IGNORE us and write us off until F2P launches. Then they will charge us something absurd like $25 to transfer each of our characters off the server. Shame on you Bioware.

Thanks all for the continual support of this thread. I will edit it in the next few days and link some seperate posts that have been made regarding the issue in my first post. This is just my opinion and where I stand at the moment. 1. @ BW customer support Thanks for replying to my ingame tickets regarding the issues I have raised and for being honest. I appreciate all they can do is pass the information onto the developers. Be prepared for more tickets from me. @ Developers on these forums Your answers have been pathetic. I appreciate you say nothing is known but surely there is a plan you can eleborate on. Your communication with the APAC community is horrible. I would like to remind you I am paying a subscription to this somewhat dismal service (yes I am not happy). To the people that moderate these forums and the developers that post on these forums... isnt it your job to provide feedback to the people that contribute their hard earned money which goes towards the game's development and your salary???? @Population Woes on Master Dar'Nala More and more are leaving each time I log... speaking of which see my next point. The server is a ghost town, there is nothing to do because there arent enough players to group with. @My game time Well I barely log anymore. I really can not be bothered quing upward to 20 miinutes and sometimes more just to try and do my PVP daily. Well i think you are a pretty good player, who cares its only a game, maybe you are just looking into it a bit too much, we all make mistakes and if people want to trash talk/criticise/whatever... well each to their own. Im guilty of it but its usually just me in party group chit chatting to each other. I would love to know more about these dramas on the republic side... empire is rather chilled, we just emote each other whilst waiting for wz pops.

we are about to hit 300 replies and have over 15000 views and STILL NOTHING from Bioware... Please launch ingame tickets. A couple of Empire guilds have been doing this. Link this thread in your ticket. Just another way of bringing their attention to our concerns. <3 Chippy

Doritos was taken, you figure out the rest On a serious note, it really looks like BW have moved us to the "too hard pile" due to lack of responses from devs in this post. Bioware... please just let us know what your plans are... thats all we ask... are you waiting for F2P etc etc or are you still wighing up the options? As paying subscibers we deserve to know what is happening so we can plan if we are going to continue to support this game or move on.... That is all <3 Chippy

Well 1.4 brought back a few players but still the population on Master Dar'Nala is still very low. I really hope Bioware makes an announcement soon in order to retain those of us that haven't given up yet.

Thanks mate For the record I put a complaint into the above link. I'm tipping it's pure coincidence but within 24hours Joveth Gonzalez replied to the thread I made in the general forums. Let's see what happens tonight, also for the record email BW sating you have been ripped off and want a refund for your last months subscription. I forwarded biowares reply to this to the above link too. I'm not going to stop until our population is fixed, failing that I'll let me wallet decide!

Hey all So it's been nearly a week since this post was made. We have had over 200 replies and 10000 views. I think this has sent a very strong message to bioware that our community can't be ignored. I think the majority of the small APAC community has supported character transfers or server merge which is great We can only hope the extra character slots are implemented with 1.4. I don't think 1.4 will bring many players back, especially with Panda Bears just launching. I have been AFK for the past few days and really am looking forward to logging in but I'm not holding my breath for population size to be half decent. I would be thrilled if suddenly we became a super server tonight with the patch but there has been no indication of this, but then again anything can happen!!! If it doesn't happen tonight, I think APAC population issues should be number 1 on biowares agenda. Their decision is crucial and will have a MASSIVE impact on the game one way or the other. Some great arguments put forward for why something needs to be done. Ward said it well, many of us are just treading water until we find out what is happening. We can only hope this decision is made in the short term before it becomes too late. Keep the posts coming, and please keep giving examples of how it is difficult to find groups etc etc.

I think Y'vaine/JcPogi really hits the nail on the head with this comment! I know Bioware has counter argued they want to give the APAC community the choice of which server they play on but I do think a gamer, regardless of their intentions to RP or PvP would rather be on a well populated server than a server with very low population.

This certainly is promising. I really can not see why they cant give us the option to just transfer off our servers and come to Dalborra. World PvP does not exist on Master Dar'Nala... the only world pvp that occasionally happens is someone just randomly killing someone else. I prefer pvp servers, its just how i've played mmos, but I would take a healthy population on a pve server any day than a ghost town populated pvp server.

Joveth Thanks for this post, it's reassuring and a good start. The population issue is something that will make or break the APAC community. Many people have posted in here that many players will return once this issue is resolved and in my opinion that's the best outcome for all I look forward to further updates!
