  1. 1. Is this REALLY an issue for you? Come on, man! 2. You can barely even see the hilts unless you zoom in on them. 3. Force jump would be nice. Except, when would it be useful other than to get to places you're not supposed to go? 4. Agree. Apply this to more classes as well. I'm sick of my Marauder wearing military type "Duty A" uniforms all the time. 5. Yes, events. No, faction jumping. I hear WoW pandas can go either way...js 6. God no. Perhaps add a ranking system for PvP based on results, but no army quests please. Our characters are not in the army. The only thing I want to see is... Moar end game, pl0x.
  2. Ninja political QQ on the SWTOR forums? and, BTW, it's "Fuk yah! 'merica!" Get it right.
  3. Because the Republic side is not nearly as goody two shoes as one might think. Especially the Jedi quests. You're just as much a bad guy as the sith, you just don't execute as many defenseless quest targets. Plus, I've always like the "bad guy" side of the coin. It feels FAR more realistic and believable than the other side.
  4. I lol'd hard. Well done. Well done, indeed.
  5. There has never been, and will never be, an MMORPG that diverges from this formula. At the end of the day, questing in game such as this will always come down to kill X bad guys, Fetch X items, and walk here to click X. That's questing. Period. Every game that has ever been...and every game that will ever be...is going to ask you to do those things for 90%+ of your quests. Period. You don't like it? Find a new genre.
  6. First off, I like the game. I am enjoying it immensely. Story is amazing. Combat is engaging. The entire thing is ultra-immersive for me. So...I'm not saying that. It's good already...and can only get better. @OP: You don't like it? Shake. Nobody is forcing you to play.
  7. Sure is. That's gangster right there. Fat Hutt wearing a top hat straight up chillin' in his spider tank. As the wise man once said: "Leave no pimpin' undone"
  8. I would have said "story" is what they do better than anyone else. But, yes, the lack of gold sellers is nice. Give it time, they'll get here eventually.
  9. I'm already happy with the game, so I don't see myself leaving any time soon. I'm DONE with WoW, so that is certainly not going to bring me back. HOWEVER - in the interest of full disclosure - a game like Guild Wars 2 could certainly sink its teeth in and rip me from my most beloved franchise (this one).
  10. I'll agree with this. Star Wars is a near-sacred IP. The name alone elicits immediate reactions. If you're a gamer between the ages of 25 and 40, you're going to gravitate towards this game by virtue of the Star Wars name and your relationship with the franchise. THAT is the major factor that brought me here. Sure, Bioware and its reputation for a story-driven gaming experience was a draw - especially considering that I'd been involved in a near storyless MMO (WoW). But, the bottom line is that I'm here for the name. It doesn't hurt that the game is pretty good to boot. It's good, and there's tons of room for it to get even better. THAT is what will keep me here.
  11. Yes. You're doing it right. Quest rewards and commendation gear is the best way to go. You can also get gear from Flashpoints (Dungeons), but you're sacrificing leveling time (less XP) for a chance at an upgrade or two.
  12. ^^^that. Go into "Preferences" --> "User Interface" --> Center menu called "Quickbars" --> Enable "right quickbar" or "left quickbar"
  13. This. At least some people will green or pass on gear they can't, personally use. If it was roll/pass, I'd roll on nearly everything.
  14. Yeah, inability to return stuff within a certain window seems flawed. Then again, this is not the first, nor will it be the last, MMO with this issue.
  15. Took me ~8 hours at 700-800 kb/s Got run some errands and meet a friend for some coffee/drinks.
  16. Make a bug report...not a forum post.
  17. Then you're doing it wrong. Don't waste credits on stuff while you're leveling. If you're already cap and gearing for raids, then disregard the above.
  18. Is this the part where I complain about my Sith Warrior?
  19. They're crafted. Available colors are Red, blue, green, yellow, orange, purple and black (for deluxe edition pre-orders). Only dark side characters can use Red. Only Light side characters can use Blue and Green.
  20. Mods. Damage is based on the damage range given on the weapon (i.e. 58.0-109.0) + modifiers from Strength and power; increased damage from crits and surge.
  21. lol @ this. Neither you nor anyone else is really spending any money on the AH.
  22. If the following criteria are met, choose the lockbox: 1. There is no (blue or orange) gear upgrade available [applies to self and companions]. 2. You don't need any commendation gear/mods 3. The box is blue or better.
  23. Switch mods = good for either warrior spec. I don't remember where, but I remember seeing a commendation Inquisitor/Consular saber for sale early on. Maybe Balmora or Nar Shadaa?
