Im not sure. Theres one player that I come up against all the time that scores at will. He gets the ball from the middle and runs straight ahead, nothing can stop him, he's immune to everything. I created a imp toon and asked what he was doing and he said that he can run that fast becuase he has a maurader with him. Whatever that means

In hutball it seems like players can sprint from the middle to the goal and are immune to cc's and stuns. Is this normal?

I canceled my sub and have 4 days left. I have a Sage and an Assasin as my 50's and only play the sage becuse the server my Sith is on has maybe 20 people logged on at any given time. After 1.2 my dps Sage is useless. I played a few matches and that was it for me. BW has no clue what theyr'e doing when it comes to MMO's and should really stick to console games. This patch was a failure that is right in line with the rest of the game. At least half my guild was waiting for rated BG's and now they're gone. Not only is our guild dying, but so is our pvp server.

Or you can have a beast of a machine like myself, run everything maxed, getting crappy fps and textures that look like they're from 2002. The Hero Engine is garbage for this application, end of story.

Mine ends tomorrow and I will not be renewing. In fact I will never buy another EA/BW product ever again after the way this one was handled.

Tonight is the last time I log on to SWTOR, my sub ends tomorrow, and I'm done with this garbage. This game isn't nearly what I'd hoped for or expected, not even close. By making the mistake of prepaying for 60 days and not given a refund I thought I would give it a shot anyway. I leveled two toons to 50, a Sith Assasin and a Jedi Sage. The only reason I leveled the sage was because I was so bored on my sith after level 50 that I needed something to do. I had done EV and KP on HM, no point in doing it on NM, same gear drops and made it to 55 valor in pvp, but stopped pvp'ing beacuse of the gear drop ratio in the bags. I opened more than I can remember on both of my toons and got 3 pieces of gear, and I won't go into all the WZ's I won and didn't get credit for. I skipped as many quests as I could on my second toon and pretty much went from 1-50 doing class quests and PVP. It was just too painful to quest on a second toon. It's way to repetitive, go in an instance kill a bunch of mobs on the way in, kill an elite boss or two, kill the same mobs on the way out, turn in the quest, go back to the same instance, kill the mobs on the way in, kill an elite, return to quest giver. Rinse and repeat all the way to 50, and after several hours of that it just got too damn boring. The crafting is so broken that I won't even go into detail, any of you that have leveled any crafting to 400 know what I'm talking about. I can't even craft a level 50 implant, 49 is as high as it goes from the trainer! You have an entire section on the fleet for crew skills, but after you hit 400 there's no reason to ever go back to them. They have nothing new to teach you, it's the dumbest thing I've ever seen! Illum pvp is a complete failure, and you all know exactly what I'm talking about. It's a joke, not only from the FPS/lag issues, but to the crate system. What BW was thinking when they came up with this brilliant idea I will never know. But the icing on the cake for me was all of the lag and FPS issues that I have with this game and being told it was my computer. I spent over $1300.00 in upgrades after buying the game to get it to run right, and the upgrades didn't improve anything. Some of the upgrades included going from 2 xfx 6870 black edition video cards to two xfx 6950 2gb xxx editions, from 8 gbs of PC 1600 ram to 16 gbs, going from 650 watt psu to a 975 watt psu, going from standard cpu cooling to liquid cooling and few other things including a ram cooler. The game just runs like crap, period. I made sure my computer specs were up to speed when I bought the game, and they exceeded them. Yet I still read many threads with CS responses in them saying that it was a hardware issue for those of us having problems. The real problem is the cancer eating this game called the Hero Engine. Everyone knows it, including BW. I have close to a million credits on my Sith, it's on server Hedarr Soongh and I think close to 400,000 on my Jedi. It's on The Swiftsure server. If any of you have toons on those servers send me a meassage and you are welcome to my credits and anything else you like. I'll even RE anything I can and give that to you as well. I have tons of crafting mats for artifice and bio that you can have too. Good luck with the new patch, can't wait to read about the bugs in that thing. If they can't get it right with the game after years of delvelopment time and millions of dollars, how are they going to roll out things on the fly? It's going to be interesting. This game had so much promise, but what a let down.

It was really confusing for me at first, but once I figured it out it was simple. I'll try my best to explain. http://www.swtor.com/community/showpost.php?p=2892331. Once you go to that link scroll down until you see a spoiler tag, there's two, click the top one. Once it opens, copy the text in it. Open notepad and paste it, I named it swtor.bat. Make sure that whever you name it has .bat after it and save it to your desktop. Once you paste it, read the top couple of paragraphs and it will tell you how to rename it and how to allocate your ram. Once you make the changes, close it. There will be a file on your desktop with a gear on it, right click and run as adminstator. A black box will open with some text in it, press S on your keyboard and enter. The box will close, right click it again and run as admin, this time click M and then enter. It will close again and you're done. Click start, then computer and it should show up with the rest of your drives. Hope this helps, it did me!

Thanks for getting back to me! I got it to work and it shows it along with my other drive. Thank you for the help! Edit: Wow! What a difference that made. I allocated 4 gigs of my 16 and I could tell right away by how fast the load screens were, HUGE difference. I went down to Taris to do some quests, and as soon as I got there I was doing over 100FPS! I killed some mobs just to check it out and didn't drop below 76FPS. On my ship I saw as high as 140, but stabilized at 111. The fleet was a different story, no change. Running at 36 average with some spikes up to 60 and down to 22 and stil stuttering. I haven't gone into a WZ or Ilum yet, will later tonight and post results. Thank you for taking the time to put this together, it's made an enormous difference.

Wow. I'm clueless, I thought I could figure this out, but am having huge issues trying to understand the setup process. I have 16 gigs of Kingston 1600 Hyper X, I downloaded the program from the link provided on the first page of this thread and ran it. That's as far as I can get. All the stuff on the first page after downloading is over my head. Any help would be great or someone to call to walk me through it. Thanks for any help!

ME 3 demo came out today for Xbox, I'm curious to know who is still going to buy anything from BW. I was looking forward to ME 3, as were my two boys, but after this debacle there is no way in hell that anyone in this household will EVER give BW or EA for that matter one more cent of my money.

35 more days. That's when my time runs out and that will be the last time I play this POS. I've never had a game burn me out on it simply becuase I spent more time messing with my computer to play the game than I did playing it. All of the bugs and horrible CS ruined this game for me. As of right now, I log in and go ride in a circle for a hour until I have my 30 crates, quick pass back to the fleet, turn in my daily and log off. The game sucks.

These monkeys can't fix crap. Each time the patch they break something else, it's amazing that BW allows people with this skill level to work for them. Still not getting credit for WZ victories, and like I thought...still getting pulled into the opposing teams spawn durning hutball and instant killed. But wait, the patch notes said they fixed that....yeah right. I bet right now all the devs are swinging from thier cages eating bannanas and flinging poo at each other waiting to be turned loose on the servers tonight. What a *********** joke.
