  1. Forum petitions. 😃 Yep, I've come to the conclusion that petitions are out of hand and need to be done away with. They're just used to divide the community and to cause strife and discord. Its a known fact that 97.38% of petitions are just troll posts in disguise, and as such are pretty much ignored by the community managers anyway. So, in order to save the trees from the unnecessary use of digital paper to write these petitions, I say they should be banned from the forums all together 😁 TLDR: I'm bored hehe. Thank you for voting/reading
  2. the insta 55's isnt really an exploit, just people saving up completed quests before the xpack hit then turning them in when the exp is usable. The F2Ps cant level past 50 unless they have the xpack, what they Can do is gain exp to lvl 50.999 since 50 isnt max level any more.
  3. Simple enough, level 50 is no longer the max level, so level 50's can earn exp. They will get to 50.9999999 but never 51 until they buy the xpac, then make 1 exp and lvl. SoP for MMO's
  4. Patch Notes http://www.swtor.com/patchnotes Been there for ages. The exact conversions haven’t been there the whole time. But the fact it was going to happen has been there a while now. Commendations •Basic Commendations, Elite Commendations, and Ultimate Commendations can now be earned from content at levels 51-55. These commendation types can be used to purchase increasingly more powerful gear at level 55. The Basic Gear Vendor will prepare you for group content at 55, the Elite Gear Vendor will prepare you for Operations at level 55, and the Ultimate Gear Vendor will prepare you for the most challenging Operations bosses in the Galaxy. •Commendations from individual planets have been converted into a single Planetary Commendation type. Vendors that previously traded items for specific planet commendations now trade the same items for Planetary Commendations. •Weekly limits are now enforced on Commendation gains for certain Commendation type. Players will not be able to obtain any Commendations beyond the weekly limit displayed in the Currency Window. This limit is reset on a weekly schedule that corresponds with the weekly Operations lockout reset schedule. Limits are as follows: •Planetary Commendations - Unlimited Weekly; 50 Maximum •Classic Commendations - 200 Weekly; 400 Maximum •Basic Commendations - 300 Weekly; 600 Maximum •Elite Commendations - 200 Weekly; 400 Maximum •Ultimate Commendations – 150 Weekly; 300 Maximum •Tionese Crystals have been converted to the new Planetary Commendation type at a 2:1 ratio and no longer drop from any content. •Daily, Tionese, Columi, and Black Hole Commendations have all been converted to Classic Commendations. Missions and loot that previously awarded these commendations will now award Classic Commendations instead. •Daily, Tionese, Columi, and Black Hole Commendations in your inventory will be converted to Classic Commendations at the following ratios: •Tionese Commendations - 6:1 •Columi Commendations - 4:1 •Daily Commendations - 4:1 •Black Hole Commendations - 1:1
  5. Probably, but, at least they're making some effort in fixing theirs. BW/EA seem to think that new cartel packs and cash shop items are top priority, and bug fixes for long standing bugs is on the back burner.
  6. There is also one on every starter planet. You had to use it with your first story weapon for a quest.
  7. I have 20, none under level 30 and most in the upper 40's or at 50. Some people like playing one character, others, like myself, like to play many. It's nobodies business how many anyone plays other than themselves. Same with the amount of monies spent on cartel coins. Why would, or should anyone care how much I spend on them?
  8. That is standard operating procedures for most if not all MMO's. If a reward for a quest is too high they reduce it. If it was broken and giving too much, they remove the gains. Normal, annoying if you don't get the benefits, but still normal.
  9. There has never been an active quality assurance system for this game. There may actually be a QA team, but they’re so not active it isn’t even funny. Even during beta they ignored the majority of reports and went ahead with whatever they wanted to do. Players knew what was wrong, told them, and they said sure, we’ll look into that and blithely kept at what they were doing. I’d venture to say that 80% of all bugs going live were reported during beta, and after live going on were reported on PTS. And they still push the turds out. Now, I know some of my lasts posts have seemed and been on the whole negative. That’s because I’m getting to the end of my rope with leeway towards EA/BW and their continued mismanagement of this game I like to play. I’m giving them until Makeb to get their act together. If that’s as bad as the last 6 patches, bug wise, not content, then I’m done and will go back to (blech) GW2 even though I like the story and game play here better, I’m so over dealing with this company.
  10. Yep, I loved the ‘broke’ one, which I never knew was ‘broke’ I got the chest piece from a pack, did a compare and absolutely loved it. So, I spent about $150 to buy coins and packs until I had the full set. I spent another 1.5mCr’s getting it augmented and modded out. My Operative never looked so good in her life as she did. Simply amazing. My GF loved the look so much that I spent another 1.75mCr buying the whole outfit for her along with the 5 mk-6 augments as a Christmas present, because she wanted it so badly, for her operative as well. Now, after this ‘fix’, we both look like stand in rejects to a Sith costume party. So, to say I’m unhappy is an understatement. I got exactly what I wanted when I bought those items, and now they’re trash. SOP for this wrongheaded company it seems, unfortunately
  11. Too easy to implement I bet, so it wont happen. They will come up with some convoluted, bug riddled fix that will just piss everyone off again and cause another poop storm on the forums.
  12. This would be best. I think they should work on a 3 - 6 month cycle. After a new pack has been on for 3, 4, 5 or 6 months make the main items available in that pack a Cartel purchase. This way early adopters, like myself, will spend the money to buy and open packs to get the items, and the people who just want the item for themselves, if they’re willing to wait will buy them on the GTN or the cartel shop. I have no problems spending $100+ a month on packs to get what I want from them, whether it be items or credits from sales of packs or the items from a pack. But if they’re going to just keep adding a new pack each month and not de-post the very old ones it’s going to create its own problems.
  13. Bioware has never refunded credits or comms for an item unless the paid price was a bug. That overinflated price was exorbitant, but not in fact a bug. So, they will never refund the monies paid.
  14. Yep, Toll Free numbers cost the owners a crapton of money still. So, with the long hold times and mass of calls due to bugs/issues people are having, I'm pretty sure their phone bill was a lot and they wanted to reduce their overhead.
  15. yep 8 then 8 then **** 6? really?!?!? is all my poor brain is going to see lol
  16. Or you could use these numbers. UK: (020) 356 45 481 Germany: (069) 99 991 5590 (Phone support available from 13.00 CET - 01.00 CET) France: (0157) 324 728 (Phone support available from 13.00 CET - 01.00 CET) Does it suck that they got rid of toll free, yup, you betchya, but its not the end of the world and very few people still have 'per minute' phones.
  17. Actually, it worked out quite nicely for me. It moved all my Imperial characters to once side, and all my republicans to the other. I'm a *happykittyface* chic atm.
  18. If you dont live in the USA dial 1-(312)725-5740, you need a country code before the area code. You might need to dial 01 for some places so 01-(312)725-5740. hope that helps.
  19. yep, thats me. anyone asks for money I just ignore them. if they ask for help running the 4+ heroics for $13kcr Ill spend an hour running them through them and doing the dailies for more. I refuse to just 'give' them the money, but I have fun 'helping' them earn it themselves.
  20. In general, in an MMO setting the differences are: CC: any ability that lasts longer than 15 seconds and removes a mob from activity (broken by damage). Stun: any short term ability that removes a mob from activity (not broken by damage) Mez: any short term ability that removes a mob from activity (broken by damage) All these can be termed crowd control in the general meaning of control throughout a fight, but in MMO’s it’s accepted that the term CC means a long term disable of a mob. I’m sure you can go any number of ways to disprove those meanings by posting names of games that use the terminology in a different way. But that’s only good if you want to argue semantics, which I really don’t
  21. That might work for you, but none of my 6 50's was able to do it, and yes, all I took from the quest box was the weekly. Said I needed to do all the listed quests and the leaders are bugged on Pot5 with no 2nd instance to swap to.
  22. Nope, not as a wookie, under any circumstances. Don't want to play a walking rug.
  23. Yea, a lot of times, when Im on, the Pot5 server only has 1 instance of section X, so when it's borked, its borked and you cant do it.
  24. that's part of the Phantom armor set, and it really doesnt mesh with the Nihilus mask at all I've tried those, Revans set, and the Sith Inquisitor set, the ones with the red pleats in them, only the Revan set actually meshes, even though the color matching is broken atm
