  1. The problem I see with transfers is people leaving okay servers and creating dead servers in the process. A flip flop effect. Servers that were okay and healthy in comparison to others would then be suffering forcing people to move to another server. How do you know what server is getting filled up? which ones are draining out. Etc etc. And after transfers come will bioware shut down servers that have such a minimal population its not worth keeping it open but rather move them to other servers? Alot of issues can arise out of transfers after the dust settles.
  2. I was talking about the server BEFORE the new servers went up. It has been at a steady decline for a month now. And like you say it is losing even more now due to new servers for them.

  4. Not being a doomsayer at all. I am just simply disagreeing with your statement "servers are growing" From what I see day to day in both server status and in game is not a growing population but a dying one on several different servers. That is all. Its you that is viewing what I am saying as being a doomsayer. I am not saying its leading to a flop or the game dying I am just saying it is not growing.
  5. doesn't change the validity of my statement. I could have posted the same thing at 7pm or 8pm and you would have said its a weekday. I could have posted the same thing on saturday night and you probably would have some other reason why theres no one on lol.
  6. It would and it would further my arguement that the game isn't growing. Right now at this moment 4pm my time over half the servers are light. I am guessing by primetime there might be a few heavy servers, maybe one or two might hit very heavy. The Swiftsure 2-3 weeks ago used to have a que of an hour on weekends. Now its light during the day and heavy during primetime on weekends. That is a drop in population not increase. And that was before oceanic servers
  7. Not sure when you took those but it hasn't been recently lol. One easy way to tell is theres no oceanic servers on any of those . Take a screen shot of tonights server list.

  10. Well aside from "story" omg im about sick of bioware and their story trip honestly lol. It would have added another level of life to the game. Made it less static if you will.

  12. Oh i totally agree im just being bitter about the experience so far not being up to par I guess. If they can learn and listen and acutally put the suggested changes in motion then we have a good thing coming to us. If they cant well damn would have been a great mmo in a few years.
  13. They didn't listen to beta test suggestions I doubt they will listen to play test suggestions of a new patch. Sounds more like a hey say good things about the upcoming patch so we dont lose more people. Maybe im being a bit cynical but they have a very bad track record so far.
  14. I honestly dont care about its difficulty. Its still their fault. If its to hard to code and mod they shouldn't have used it. how many new mmo's released have you seen where the primary engine is the focus of much debate around which theres so many performance issues? I dont know any....
  15. Thats a what if. Your assuming the fault lies with the devs and not with the engine yet you have no proof. We can look at how swtor runs resources and determine that the engine is using a retarded amount coupled with disk caching because it couldn't lower its overhead so they use a 1 gig cache file.... There have been many many people much smarter then you that have put up very logical valid reasons as to why the game is performing horribly due to the engine's design. And since they bought the engine in an unfinished state it is both the engine and the devs that are the cause of our woes today. Their inability to optimize it and have it run smoothly and heroengines lack of maturity and features when they first bought it. either way its their fault regardless of what component is at fault. Had they chose U3 they would have had top notch support from the programmers that developed it. And we probably wouldn't have a lag fest crapshoot game.
  16. Not sure why people tell others to leave. You do know they are leaving thousands at a time right? This game is losing subs faster then you think. But you keep up with that telling people to leave.
  17. I remember when fanboy's couldn't wait for the first free month to end as it would supposedly mean the end of whiny players and only consist of people that wanted to be here. Jokes on you lol.
  18. I am on the swiftsure. Now 3 weeks ago this server had ques on weekend 900 people in line to login. There were about 90 people always on tython and about 60 in ord man. Fleet always had roughly 220-240 people on republic side. Now fast foward 3 weeks. Last weekend we hit standard during prime time, it might have gone heavy for like an hour or so I am not sure. BUT. Fleet now only has around 180-200 people. Tython had 20-30 throughout the weekend and ord mantell had about 10 people. Figuring oh people are just higher level thats all you check ilum pop.... 39 atm... voss 12, corellia 8, hoth 20, bel 36.... Point is servers aren't seeing growth. For anyone that watchs numbers everytime they get on throughout the weeks has seen a decline and its not because people are hitting 50 its because people are either quitting or migrating to other servers. Which I highly doubt is the case for my server because it was one of the most populated if not the most populated servers out there that people rerolled to for. These numbers were taken before the oceanic servers btw.
  19. Its your computer not their game. Your system clearly sucks and you need to run very low settings. Also with that system you should take advantage of our new optimization! Very low shader setting. /sarcasm I feel like thats how they look at posts like yours. Its not us its you type of thing. So since you guys all have crap computers we are adding lower settings /facepalm.

  22. Cool one thing... and it was hardly game breaking in the first place lol. Im talking about things that are causing people to leave. Dead servers. No communication regarding important issues.
  23. Not only that but they are being a bit to prideful about the initial success. I dont think they have yet to realize they are bleeding subs at an alarming rate due to the fact that they will not do what we want. Because thats what it comes down to. WHAT WE WANT. We want mergers they refuse to even comment. That alone is going to cost them more subs then they know. They are slowly becoming that mmo developer that everyone hates because they cant get it through their heads that community comes first. The whole guild summit thing, honestly thats just a publicity stunt if you ask me I highly doubt anything said there by guild leaders will come to pass.
