I had more fun in SWG than I have in SWTOR. SWTOR has monster performance issues that keep me from enjoying the game, a lot like the guy in Game Informer article; the game should run better on my beastly machine.

Server merges are the Beginning of the end for a MMO!! BW knows that the end is coming, they have had Developers leave because they knew how bad this game was going to let people down and wanted their name off it. I don't blame though, big article from the dev that left because the game was going to be a GIANT mess. Guess what...? He was RIGHT!

13 Months, if they don't fix the HUGE performance issues in large Scale PvP, the game will be F2P. Or they will just unplug it, honestly though the way BW is dropping the ball on CS and other aspects. I hope the game fails. My guild has already left, my husband left, my brother too! I'm the only one left, because I waited SOOO LONG! just for this game to run like it was designed by a bunch of kids fresh out of college.

Well, I think they wanted to be a hybrid, but the fact that the more Player Characters that are on the screen the less the game uses your computers resources, so you are forced to only PvE; unless 10 FPS on Ilum is playable for you.

I agree with the OP that the game is a good game. It would be a GREAT game if you could actually do large scale pvp, or even WZs at decent FPS. The game has MAJOR issues with the Engine and the game will fail like Failhammer did due to them. Face it EA is all about pushing the games out early to make their bucks. Well they made the launch bucks but the subs are not going to be there. If this game was healthy threads like this wouldn't be on the boards.

The FPS problems on Illuminated are not exaggerated at all I posted screenies.....
