[I hate all the Consular Companions]

I have to agree that for the most part the consular companions a big disapointment, especially when you look over at the inquisitor companions...

 

Hell, even the big tanky monster Khem has a more interesting story than 3/4 of the consular companions.

 

Yet another reason Republic is empty

Sorry people but its really easy to farm BT/Esseles for a day (5-6 hours) and have rank 3 social.

What is left to choose is wether or not it will be cross server.

Except finding groups is so hard nobody blacklists at all in fear of not being able to run stuff, buddy.

 

People ive seen trying to advertise for a flashpoint group on a planet.

 

Most players will be questing, try LFG flashpoint while on the FLEET.

Reason they're advertising on your planet is most likely because they already spammed for 2 hours at the fleet and got nothing.

There's absolutely no accountability now, and as it is now the trolls (and every other bad seed) has absolutely no repercussions and gets to finish the runs because it took so long to get a group together no one wants to leave group and have to form another. So in truth the intended remedy is actually contributing to the spread of the ailment.

Classes (including Operatives) need a ******** of buffs to happen to improve the current PvE setup, but instead, we get PvP nerfs that also ruin classes for PvE.

Definatly do not need cross server LFG, causes to many community issues and far to easy for people to ninja loot without repercussion. A server only LFG isn't such an issue though.

 

It already is easy to ninja loot without repercussions buddy.

And sadly none of the above has been acknowledged so far nor is it being worked on/listed on the list of known issues of 1.1

It kicked in after last patch for me. During some dialog the screen will be solid black for a few seconds. What I found most entertaining was when I was traveling and the screen did the "flash" and I was attacked. I dropped the two combatants and continued being attacked. I moved my mouse about and it indicated an enemy completely invisible. All my attacks worked, it died and I moved my mouse about and found it had loot. Being a lvl 8 jedi I don't believe that a completely invisible fleshraider was supposed to be in the game plan!

 

Same problem. Usually people that experience flickering also have the black screen on convos and invisible enemies bugs as well.

 

 

Whats lame is that none of those bugs have been acknowledged by devs so far and none of them are listed as being worked on, so if you're epileptic or easy on migraines, its pretty much no more swtor for you.

I'm getting the exact same flashing after the patch, though I've yet to experience my character disappearing. Also, it only just started happening on Taris for me, was fine on Coruscant (after the patch). Pretty annoying, I hope they fix it soon.

 

It mostly happens on outdoor worlds, Nar Shadaa and Coruscant are mostly interiors

 

Also yeah it's still there, logged in today and within the first 20 secs I had one -_-

I wish we had the Agent's ship, hell, any other ship.

 

Trooper ship is pretty much the bottom of the barrel in swtor

They're both good.

 

Honestly, ALL trooper companions are great for leveling since they're all wearing heavy armor and can take a beating.

 

What it comes down to is

 

Are you a Tank? Are you a Healer? Do you want to go fast and risky or slow and safe?

 

Jorgan = Monsters die quick but you don't have heals if things go south

 

Elara = Health barely drops but the mobs take longer to kill

 

 

As a commando you will also want to look into the amazing 4X and his tanky goodness for heroic stuff.

What worries me is that georg acknowledged Mortar but didn't mention Full-Auto once..

 

Either way its going to be an improvment

Yes its a new issue after 1.1

I'm just reporting an answer from Bioware's customer support, but honestly, people with this issue have been reporting eyes hurting, headaches and migraines all day long.

 

So imma go on a limb and not take any chances.

 

As for flickering frequency, it happens outdoor randomly, can be every few seconds just like you can go 5 mins without it happening.

Please reply directly to this mail with your dxdiag and logs attached and we will investigate the matter further for you.

 

Once again just a reminder please do take time to rest after an hour of gaming since constant flickering can really damage your eyes.

So yeah, just thought I'd point this out, if you do experience the black screen flickering, be careful about how long you play for. Headaches and Migraines have actually been reported a lot, now its eye damage, so better safe than sorry.

 

This is kind of alarming.
