  1. For the most part I've been OK with the subscriber rewards, and I'm OK with the weapons. If they want to do more HK rewards give us the set at one time and move on. Spreading them out over months gives the impression that you have nothing else to offer. It can be much more difficult to design a unique armor set or a mount compared to doing the HK set. There have been lots of great suggestions all over the forums and Reddit. Please read them and adjust your rewards.
  2. I get this exact same thing. Doesn't seem like lag but a stutter. I wouldn't call my computer a beast, but it's no slouch with a nice video card as well. No lag issues, fine on the fleet even, but once in a while it freezes for a sec. Also...love the server merges/transfers. Zero complaints here from the higher population around.
  3. Immortal PvE Tank spec 1. How do you think your Juggernaut spec is perceived by other classes? I think it is perceived as being able to tank but not the best option for higher difficulty FP and Ops. There are other, better qualified options. 2. How do you perceive your own spec? I believe that I am capable of competing with any other spec for tanking. There are certainly some shortcomings and room for improvement, but it is a capable AC if it is played well and geared well. Single target DPS seems to have taken a big hit in last update.
  4. Reading the forums makes me sad...so much paranoia and unreasonableness... Seems to me that people just want to flame and bash on the Dev's no matter what they do. There are well over a million players. Is it reasonable to think that anything they do will satisfy everyone? Even the majority? I applaud them for taking steps to better the game even if it doesn't satisfy everyone, because that's impossible. Let me also add that I'm not a blind fanboy. The game is fun, but definitely could have been better at launch, needs improvements and is far from perfect. I'm just glad they're working on it and are clearly not ignoring us.
  5. It either has to do with servers or you personally. I play on a PvP server. I've had no problems at all finding groups for heroic missions or FP's. But... I also add people to my friends list, invite the same people frequently. I seek out good players, ask them about friends and groups and am in a guild. My friends do the same thing as well. So I don't PuG a ton, but have and will in the future. I stick with good people, look for new people and ignore the ones I need to. Sure chat gets stupid once in a while, but you can ignore it, that will likely not change, and it's not hurting me at all. Seek out a community and I bet you will find it.
  6. Exact same experience here. Holding mobs just isn't the same in this game as it is in others. Go over the kill orders/priorities with your groups. normal, strong, elite, champion. The DPS are going to get mobs on them in big groups. As long as it is the normal guys then everything will be fine. Keep the hard hitting mobs on you. Another thing people haven't figured out overall, is crowd control is a necessity. Each group, most of the time, there should be at least one mob CC'd.
  7. I know they know about these issues, but had to jump in anyway. 50 SW and it is horrid, especially in a group setting. Same things as quoted. Insanely frustrating. I really, really hope they can get this fixed. I'm not so bold as to say it will kill Operations, but it will certainly discourage people. Big black eye on the face of ToR.
  8. I had EGA and a week off after Christmas. I played entirely too much and hit 50 Saturday the 31st. I didn't skip cutscenes, did all the missions and class stories. I just played a LOT. Now I'm doing daily's and having a good time helping guild mates. All depends on what you want to do.
  9. Yay for grammars!! Glad you don't exaggerate...that always ruins an argument... Waiting for the rest of your list you said you were going to post. lol
  10. I'm using the 550ti and have had great success. No lag, fps issues, works great on the fleet and in every zone I've been in. I run on all high settings with low shadows.
  11. Yes! Please! I looked all over the options for this too, on the character screen...
  12. I'm all for giving someone the benefit of the doubt. We all have no idea if you really who you say you are, if you're actually any good at it, or if you're lying through your teeth. But this statement alone makes me firmly believe that you are not who you say or you are just horribly bad at it. Take the game off line? That would be a disaster they would never ever recover from. It is completely ridiculous to propose that this is the best solution. You were close in part of your post and I'm quite sure this is what they're doing. Get the bugs smashed and fixed as soon as humanly possible. I mean everyone working 12+ hours a day and work this stuff out. The combat system performance must be fixed. FP's and Op's have to be fixed. No one will grind for gear if some of it doesn't even drop loot. A good show of fixes and improvements will save the game, show good faith, and keep the subs coming in. Edit: He's apparently from Goldman Sachs...I missed that part.
  13. Yeah, they're doing it intentionally just to make you angry... Known issue, they're working on it.
  14. This...stop pulling out the mods then. But new ones, get them off the GTN, use commendations, find a crafter to make them for you. Games have to have money sinks. There is so much money floating around this game already. That's why training is so expensive, pulling mods is expensive, sending companions on missions is expensive. If there aren't money sinks it will be a disaster. So update your gear, whichever look you want, with new mods to keep them up to date. But stop pulling the old ones, there is no reason for that. Only exception might be at end game and you really want to keep a special, purple, really nice mod you have to put in a new set that looks better than the one you already have.
  15. This is so common, happens all the time. It is an unconscious thing your brain does, you remember the good and push out the bad. Never a good way to construct an argument by saying "back in the day". That's why we make fun of old people for the same thing "up hill both ways in the snow!" I DO NOT want a dungeon finder. I find groups, use my friends list, get to know people, group with guildmates, etc. Also, don't forget that the level ranges are so spread out right now it is a bit tougher to find people that are the same level range, that want to do a FP at the same time you do.
