This may seem off topic a bit, but I'm trying to start my own stream of my guild through my viewpoint (powertech tank) and I'm wondering if you could find out how he sets up his stream!!!! Ive been trying to figure it out and im stymied.

This isn't really bad as just funny.... Right after I hit 50 on my PT Tank on the server Black Vulkars, I started running some HMs. To give you some background, i've been playing MMO's since release of WoW, and I have always been a tank. I like to think i know how to manage my cooldowns, and the old adage of skill > gear. Back to the story, I come across this group willing to give an undergeared (but definately not underskilled) tank a try. The healer, whos name shall remain blank, was in full Columi gear head to toe. On the first pull of Boarding Party, with full aggro and the dps blasting away, he couldn't keep me up. Looking at my screen i could see he was healing me for only 1.5k every heal. Now how does someone in full raid gear only heal for that much. This being my 4th HM ever run, and up to that point i hadnt died before. So we try it again, and same thing. So i pm him asking if he is okay to heal this. He replies with more vulgar language than i have seen on Trailer Park Boys. I laughed my *** off. He was clearly one of those self-righteous players who thinks he is the ****, when he is carried the whole time. My guild leader, who was also in the party, politely explained to the healer that it was the lack of healing that was causing the wipe. The healer retorted quite rudely. Now i have nothing but the utmost respect for my guild leader, having raided with him in WoW for the past 4 years. So i tore the healer a new hole. Needless to say, less than 40 minutes later, his ENTIRE 200 MAN GUILD has me on ignore. The whole guild. I laughed pretty damn hard at that one.

See i thought about geting the 2 points in shortening the CD in interrupt, but this is more for an endgame tank/offtank in Operations. So i figured we had enough interrupts i didnt need it. Thats why i went for the RP boost. EDIT - RP not RB

Hey lads, I leveled to my early 40's as a Shield Tech mostly because ive tanked in MMO's ever since i began playing them. Recently, due to a buddy wanting to tank, I tried out AP. I fell in love. The flame attacks and everything look super cool on screen, and i find as long as i can manage my heat i put out some pretty decent numbers (this is just from observing healthbars as i attack). However going back to my roots, i really wanted to tank again (and i wanted jet charge back =) ), so i tried out this spec on Torhead, which is 28/11/2. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#301hMGrdoroGZMsr0oZb.1 I have yet to try this out ( i was going to when i logged in in a couple hours) but any feedback/tips/ideas would be great! I would be really down for a title "Steezy The Supercommando" or something. I'd love to have a mandalorian title but the Supercommando would be really epic.

I find the math of that extremely difficult to believe. If only 1 tank is needed for ops, then the other tanks, instead of sitting on the bench, should be running heroics and other things to train themselves to be better than the tank doing the Operation. Seriously, Ive been through that, and all i did when i logged on to play was practice tanking. And now i have the top spot in my guild for tanking. If the tank doesn't have the chops to tank something, then they should work on getting better. Practice makes perfect. Also if you are complaining enough about this being the case in game then everyone probably has you on ignore, which is another reason why you cant find a tank. BKN

I still don't understand why people use those same useless, retarded jokes all the time. They aren't funny, they make you look like a complete and total idiot, and it doesn't matter if you have a real life, you still log on and play the same game as everyone else. Honestly man grow up. He doesn't want to play then that's his loss. When you rage at that it makes you look like a *****. Who cares if he is an elitist. He takes pvp seriously, and doesn't like to lose. Ask anyone that plays a competitive sport and they will say the exact same thing. BKN

I did it first time as a PT, so it'll probably be a bit different but this is how i did it.... I used Mako, as she can heal you (helps a lot i know) I stocked up on a SH*TTON of medipacs and stims (mostly aim as my armour stacks endurance) make sure your companion is geared enough to keep up healing This is where it gets tricky - For myself i had my electrodart and interrupts hotkeyed, and i varied between the two on his rockets. When both were down i would LoS and wait for the 8 second interrupt to come back up (with the 4 second stoppage of casting rockets after interrupt its only a 4 second interrupt cd) I also had all my PT cooldowns ready for proc, and i only had to use one medipac. I was also 3 levels beneath as i hated taris and wanted to leave ASAP. Only advice i have for you is to keep your medpacs, interrupts and stuns ready to go quickly at all times and you should be fine. If not find another BH and get them to help (enable group assist in class quests in your preferances) BKN

AidenPryde that has to be the worst argument i've ever heard. PvP does not directly influence PvE. Just look at the names. Player versus Player and Player versus Environment. On top of that just because a dps class is burst doesnt mean its pvp only. For those WoW players here, a Fury Warrior did his most damage when all of his cooldowns were popped at the same time. Thats burst damage. Oh whats this?? Fury warriors were topping the charts a lot of the time?? I know that may be hard for you to understand, but Burst =/= PvP only. If you can SHOW ME (yes, hard factual evidence) that burst damage is pvp only i will gladly bow down to your superior intelligence. But that would require you having any intelligence in the first place so i wont be waiting.
