I think a Scoundrel is one of the "harder" classes to play and master in swtor. It has a ton of abilities (more then can fit on your hotbars) and some are positional or from stealth only. I don't reccomend the class to new players of mmos. Dont get me wrong. I love the class, Im no pro, but i think a lot of people play some thing like a Sage, for example, and expect the oter classes to play as easily. Also...the game is young classes will get nerfed and buffed. Play what you think is "fun". From someone who has played mmo's for 10 years, thats the best advice i can give. Just do whats fun.

Man..Ive been loving pvping as I level. I was leveling as a Sawbones up until 31 and I admit it was NOT that fun. Switched to Scrapper and am having a blast. I do just fine also. Try tossing only 1 dot heal first, followed by a cast heal then insta emergency med pack...that packs a punch. Dont stack 2 dot heals back to back as the first thing you do to someone taking dmg as they will fall fast...it takes to long.

As a scrapper scoundrel I usually have no problem at all beating a gs in 1v1....but thats just 1v1. I think the scoundrel is a lot of fun in pvp. I have not played a gs. Just my 2 credits

You chose the right advanced class if you want to play similar to a "rogue"....melee that is. Gunslinger is the ranged dps option. Now..within the scoundrel advanced class you have 3 specs. Sawbones is the healing tree. If you spec into dirty fighting or the other one you will be dps. As a scoundrel when you lvl up you will be giving the choice to train the higher ranks of the healing spells. That doesnt mean you dont have to use them, especially not being spec;d into sawbones the heals will suck anyway. You could choose to either put them off to the side and use them as needed or just simply never equip the abilities..up to you. But as far as saying you messed up...no. Just pick either dps tree you like better out of the 2 options. Get it?

Do they exist in the game? I was just curious because i love me some Ewoks. I want one as a companion.

Nope..I'm loving mine. The more I play, the more i loves.

noticed it myself chain casting. the animation and cast time ends but it takes a split second for the heal or whatever spell to actually "land".
